I enjoyed the the Sonny/Will/Brian scenes. Brian seems like a total sell centered asshole but still I enjoyed their scenes. Will was called out and as always couldn't take the heat and ran away. But funny how he thinks he can play with the big boys when really he's not so big after all when it comes to real life situations. He's living in a complete fantasy world with EJ and I still think it will take Sonny getting hurt because of that involvement for Will to realize how stupid and naive he has acted. I did love when Sonny told Will he just wants to be by his side. I am not sure what else Will needs to hear to know that Sonny is in love with him. But Will did give him a nice smile in return  . He probably feels ashamed that Sonny would even love what he's turned into.

I am glad Sonny wasn't jealous over Will hanging with some guys at a bar. He seemed to walk away to let Brian have it out with Will. And I am glad Sonny stuck up for Will. Not all people come out in the same manner. Will simply wasn't ready to come out and though it's sad he would rather sit in jail than use the alibi he had, Will simply wasn't ready to come out the world that he is gay.

Brant did just tweet that today is his first appearance which to me alludes he will be back. I am guessing he does something that will push Will to finally face what he's feeling for Sonny.

Rafe and EJ's scenes were painful to watch. It should have been Bo or Roman in those scenes with EJ, someone with history to the character and who can act.
Thank you! No, not Roman or Bo, just Bo. It should have been PR. He and JS play off one another amazingly well. I love it when Bo calls EJ "Jr." NO ONE else can deliver that name like PR in his role as Bo. :soapbox:

Well, Bo was/is a suspect. Having him do it would make even less sense than Rafe or Roman.

Ha! I forgot Bo was a suspect. They've concentrated so hard on EJ... So in that case, it should have been Roman or better yet, Agent Spencer. Anyone but dumb ass Rafe. I get pissy when I can't enjoy my scenes because an actor is lacking in skills...

GG is just awful and it is glaringly obvious when he is thrown in a head-to-head with JS. If Days wants Rafe to stick around as a core character and have him play foil to EJ, they are really going to have to think about recasting him, IMO.

That guy ragging on Will annoyed me, as do all people who try to push their own agendas. So what if he's gay and didn't want all to know like this? That's HIS business. It's like the people who say Freddie Mercury "should" have told the world he was gay and actively join the fight. No, he "should" NOT have if he had reasons not to, whatever they were.
I thought Brian was a very welcome addition to the Will and Sonny story. It was wonderful for him to call out Will for preferring to be seen as a murderer rather than a gay man. Yes, it may be Will's business when he comes out and to whom; but he allowed himself to be arrested instead of offering up his gay alibi. I am glad Brian called out Will on that offensive bullshit. Hopefully Brian will make a return visit and put the moves on Sonny since no one else in Salem wants to do it.

If people he doesn't know are quickly able to realize Sonny is smitten with Will, I wonder how much longer it will be before Will realizes it, also.

The Sami and Carrie argument was tremendously enjoyable from start to finish, perhaps more entertaining than their argument in the pub a few months ago. The only thing missing was a good slap.
What "offensive bullshit"? Why was it wonderful that Will didn't do what he wanted him to do? What business was it of his? If I were gay and someone dared say that to me, I would say exactly that: "What business is it of YOURS what I choose to do?" And if someone else finds it offensive, that's not MY problem.

Ok, I may be in the minority here but, while James always looks amazing to me, I don't care for his current hair cut. It looked like his stylist used clippers high on the sides and it reminded me of a military style cut in those areas. James always cleans up very nicely, but I also really liked him back in the day with his slightly scruffier appearance and longer hair. (Oddly enough, I was opposite about Jay Kenneth Johnson. When he went from longer hair to shorter, more clean cut, I thought it was really attractive and a big improvement).

I hated Sami's hair and both Carrie and Sami's wardrobe. I thought Deirdre's eyes looked very tired and all the heavy black liner around her eyes emphasized that.

That being said, I thought the episode was ok but skippable. I can understand some people enjoying the Sami/Marlena/Carrie scenes but did Sami act like she was going to attack a pregnant Carrie there before Marlena stepped in? Also thought the Sami dialogue was pretty juvenile with regards to her responses to Marlena. I have adored and understood Sami's passionate nature and would expect knee-jerk reactions, but Sami is getting older and would hope to see some character growth there.

It's offensive that Will preferred to be known as a murder\attempted murderer rather than as a gay man. What sort of fucked up psyche does one have to think that way? From Brian's viewpoint, he's probably wondering what Will thinks of him if Will thinks so lowly of himself while hanging out with Neil and Brian. If I were in Brian's shoes and part of Will's alibi, I would have been insulted as well if someone comparatively thought it would be better if I were a murderer instead of gay. There are gay men and women in this world who have no or little tolerance for other closeted gay men and women. Brian seems to be one of them which is fine. Straight people do not need to have a monopoly when it comes to disapproving of how or when a gay person comes out. Personally, I'm shocked that people may think Will did the right thing by not supplying his alibi in order to prevent his arrest. Come out or be arrested? Which option would most people choose?

I could pick apart the how the story played out. For example if Will had been having sex with Neil and engaging in recreational drug use, that would certainly make it more believable to me that Will wouldn't have wanted to say anything to his relatives. But just hanging out at a gay bar? That makes him look pretty bad. Also, I'm still irked that they couldn't find someone unrelated to Will to question him and/or be his lawyer. I also find it a little implausible that Will's sexuality would be such a big issue in the story that it would be covered for days. Even in Salem.

All of that said, I like having the different perspectives on coming out (oh, hai, Anderson, what's up with you today?). If Will wasn't ready to come out to members of his Irish Catholic police family, that is his business. Except that it does make him look like he was ashamed. Yet, whether anyone likes it, it appears the press did make a deal of it, and Will certainly had a right to want to avoid that.

In any case, just having Sonny and Brian debate it adds an element to the story that's interesting, because they both have good points to make.

As for Will realizing Sonny is attracted to him, I'll be money he already knows. It's pretty obvious to everyone, and Will is no dummy. Again, I think he's being kind of a dick by hanging around in the friend zone with Sonny while partying with other guys. But I am interested in how it will play out.

And Brian couldn't be hotter if he tried. Realistically, Sonny and Will should be fighting over him.

I think the last three weeks or so have been much better. I've enjoyed quite a few individual episodes and there has actually been some drama, especially the episodes surrounding Lexie's death.

I would be very surprised is Brian doesn't make a play for either Will or Sonny at some point. Since Will was pretty pissed off at him today, it would seem that Sonny might be his target. Then again, given the dartboard writing of this show, who knows.

Say I found out I had cancer in 1950. Say I lied about it when telling the truth would keep me from being arrested for murder I didn't commit and my family is the police force. Say I lied because the idea of exposing my illness to the world scared me so much I did that. Because then, people whispered the word "cancer" like they did "AIDS" in 1980. There were societal repercussions, just as coming out today still has. Does that give anyone the right to castigate me for it? I say it does not. You say it does (in theory--not because being gay is in any way akin to having cancer, but you get my drift).

So we differ. S'ok.

Selfish Sami being selfish Sami. I think that it is time she grows up and accept her blame in her marriage falling apart. All her puting is really juvinille. She cries about how her and Rafe would have worked it out if Carrie was not in the way, but she does ot know that for sure. I don't think that Rafe would have forgiven her that easily.

I can't believe that she was really going to try to attack her pregant sister. Loved Carrie's line about Sami and the calander.

I am so sick of Sami always blaming Marlena for things she defended Sami durung the argument too not just Carrie.

Thoughts on this epi:

Wow. I really fucking hate Rafe. He is a douche. I wish Spencer had actually called him out on his shit more instead of calling his badgering brilliant. Stupid. You already know it was Abe's gun that killed Steffy. What I don't understand is how they didn't know EJ had a gun til now. Did he not tell Roman about shooting the light fixture? Maybe I imagined it. I don't know. This whole story is full of suck fucktardedness I feel dumber for trying to follow it.

EJ was pretty decent today. Maybe it was because Rafe was soooo obnoxious that EJ looked that much better in comparison.

Sami is a cunt-beast. I wish Marlena and/or Carries had knocked her on her ugly ass. And really, Sami? you're going to keep pushing into Carrie like what? Like you'd knock her down? While she's pregnant? Yeah. Ok. Can't wait for the next Sami-free episode. Carrie's hair looked great. And even though her s/l sucks ass at least CC can sell it. Couldn't they have shit-canned AS & GG instead of CC & PM? Seriously...

The Brian stuff was a little much. And I don't think Will looks all that good in EJ's hand me down suits. But Sonny defending his man was cute. I really wish they'd stop styling Sonny's hair like Jughead from the Archie comics.

Cunt beast...LOVE IT!

Same ol' beast playing the victim. I did like the calendar line by Carrie.
