Its disgusting and repulsive bc Will should not want to emulate the man he knows raped his mom not once but twice, once by proxy. He is Lucas son, not Ej's. I am still not watching bc I think Ej is to pervy by wanting to spend so much time around a young man like that. And I don't buy the deal theory so please save it. I'm glad we have these Days ahead folks bc now I know what to avoid. Such a pity, I'll miss Days sponsor ads as well. :moon:

Will is the gay one who wants to be EJ yet EJ's the pervy one for having an intern? Not even going to bother explain the big brother programs, internship corporation programs or any of the long list of older people who spend their days teaching up and coming ones. I guess they're all pervy. |

Not from a man who is as evil as his father. I have an issue with Ej being thought of as a mentor, when the list of what he has done wrong stretches straight down into hell where he belongs. He's a perv imho for spending so much time with the young man who is the son of the woman he has tormented for years. Nope, no one can understand why I'd call him a perv.

I think some people consider it pervy because the writters added a quite a bit of ridiculous sexual subtext to almost all of their scenes. That alone makes it an atypical mentor/mentee scenario, unless of course this was some sort of BDSM relationship, which it is not. If EJ has taught Will anything, it has almost exclusively happened off-screen. If there was some sort of lesson to be learned when Will was fired, it was quickly forgotten when EJ bailed him out of jail. Other than repeatedly going to the same blackmail well, I haven't seen how EJ has been a mentor to Will at all. That aspect of their relationship has been sorely lacking. I would have much rather seen that instead of the verbal blowjobs they have given each other. Edited by LonePirate, Jul 4 2012, 08:35 AM.

Thank you, thats how I feel exactly. The sexual under tones are what is making me want to vomit. Its not funny or cute and it doesn't belong in a soap. Soaps are supposed to be about romance and passion, not the verbal blow jobs and sexual under tones running through Ej and Will. I find it sick, disgusting and disturbing and I will not watch it. Its that simple. Thank you for getting it. Edited by LucasHortonFan, Jul 4 2012, 08:42 AM.

EJ to Sami: What? That we have this connection together, Samantha? Body and soul. It's forever. That's the truth of the matter.

Thank you :) ! There are NO sexual undertones in this "relationship" at all. Neither is attracted to the other and E.J. is certainly NOT a perv! |

The show is even addressing that there are sexual undertones. It's not even subtle. I dont think he's a perv but that doesn't neutralize the blatant sexual undertones. |

He might not learn to commit specific crimes, but he's well on his way to learning to be sweevil. I haven't seen the show yet, but from the write up, his transformation from "angry teen" to "charming arrogant bastard" seems to be going very smoothly. |

I feel he's a perv bc he is going after the son of a woman he was involved with. That he is even friendly with him is all sorts of icky to me. I would not want my son around the one who'd done all that to me. Its just to nasty for me to wanna deal with so I don't. That's mho and I'm sticking to it. And yes I do get that this is a soap not real life. I am so glad there is aff button on the remote so I do not have to watch Ej and Will if I choose not to. |

ITA. Some thought the triangle would be Lucas/Sami/EJ. But it might turn out to be Will/Sami/EJ. LOL! |

I'm not sure where the charming part comes in. He's rude and unpleasant to everyone he meets, aside from Marlena. He only shows other emotions when it's time to smirk at EJ. The show knew how to build up some relationships with EJ and various characters which would offset his villainous actions. I don't see that with Will; maybe someone decided that was boring, I don't know. If he weren't in scenes with EJ I wonder if anyone would even care at this point. |

I sure do. There were so many peak emotional moments in today's scenes with EJ and Will, I half expected Will to thrown himself into EJ's arms. I think what it boils down to is the fact that Chandler and James have chemistry, not necessarily sexual chemistry, but chemistry as actors. As far as I'm concerned, the undertones are palpable. ;) But, we all glean our own meanings from everything we read/watch/consume. |

I half thought EJ was expecting one of Will's demands to be sexual in nature. Will seemed to know that EJ might expect that, though that might have been part of his plan. EJ used his charm to disarm Will earlier, after all, and the idea that it might backfire on EJ makes sense to me. And Will was supremely arrogant today, to the point where I think he's likely to get a comeuppance sooner rather than later. Still, I like the idea of him learning from EJ. EJ created a monster when he decided to mentor Will, and like Dr. Frankenstein, the monster is out of control. However, I can't see Sonny wanting anything to do with this part of Will's life. If and when they do get together, this should be the major source of conflict. But in any case, I don't think the show is going to take EJill out of innuendo zone, and so I'd really like to see some actual gay romance. Also, Gabi is stupid for not running to her brother ASAP. It doesn't matter what she's done. Although, am I the only one who giggled when Gabi said something about Chad being smart? Of all his character traits - and I like Chad - smart has never been at the top of the list. Will's the smart one among the younger set, with his computer skills and all that. |

Today was quite a blah episode outside of the wonderful EJ/Will material. It's DEFINITELY far below the wonderfulness of the last few days. This episode is RIDDLED with lapses in real world logic, structure, and flow. Nothing had anything to do with anything else. It's July 4th in part of Salem, and yet Austin & Carrie had their hospital appointment that morning and Chad just came from class. MMMkay. Also, we're back to having the exact same circular conversations with the same people in the same spot for an entire episode. Only Gabi did any moving around. And, IMO, it's a huge logic fail that there hasn't been at least ONE scene between Chad/Daniel discussing Melanie's absence from town. You'd think Daniel would know if Melanie took off to go visit her mother. Daniel's her father, for crying out loud. It's VERY obvious from the Rafe/Carrie scenes that this entire storyline is winding down and they're setting up Austin & Carrie's exit. And I have to give Christie Clark MAJOR props from bringing her "A" game to every performance and managing to make this WTFery loaded storyline work as well as it can. IMO, EJill is the greatest new couple on DAYS at the moment (with Daniel/Nicole running a close 2nd). I love the cat & mouse between the two of them and I like seeing EJ squirm. Also, I like how while EJ was eyeing Will with a mixture of anxiety & worry, it almost looked as if EJ was slightly proud of Will. EJ/Will are definitely Salem's version of a DiMera Batman & Robin. The only way I could appreciate Will even more would be if he were to blackmail EJ into having sex with him. IMO, that would be extremely hot & extremely fitting. Karma can be a wonderful thing. |

Same here. I can't even watch Will and Ej scenes anymore. I fast forward them now for the most part. I am fine with them having scenes but not with dialogue like this. It's disgusting. Sad they will show this but they won't allow Will and Sonny to go beyond patting each others legs. And all of this going on for July 4th. Will belongs with people his own age if he wants to talk like this. I find it repulsive between a 20 year old guy and a mid 30 year old guy that happens to be the father of his siblings. Just all kinds of disgusting. |

I think its great, EJ and William,.. like apprentice thing. Teach me to become evil as you.. LOL EJ should be flattered. Their relationship could turn into the one Stefano and Rolf had once upon a time. I loved Stefano and Rolf... but of course William is not Rolf he could become something much more. EJ needs a mini me... I for once hope it continues but in more developed and interesting SL. |
