I adore Ejill - especially now that their frenemies on more equal footing again. And I think there are clear sexual overtones in their scenes. Part of it is accidental - its just the fantastic chemistry between JS and CM - but part of it is clearly intentional. I mean, it's pretty clear that EJ knows how to use his sex appeal to get what he wants and he's certainly not above doing that with a gay man anymore than he's above doing that with a straight woman. I like the sexual undertones - it makes their relationship that much naughtier. |

It's definitely great to see Will and EJ both blackmailing each other instead of EJ being the only one doing the blackmailing. That construct was starting to wear thin. I'm sure Will has a spectacular crash in his future but I will enjoy this role reversal while it lasts. I might be able to appreciate or enjoy the sexual undertones between Will and EJ more if the writers inserted similar undertones and language into Will's scenes with Sonny or the gay dayplayers. For some reason, the writers don't. I guess the show seems to think it's OK for sexually suggestive situations to exist between two characters who will never have sex but it's not OK to have similar sexually suggestive situations between two characters who actually could have sex with each other. It sure makes me wonder what sort of message the show is trying to send. |

I like Will in almost every scene that he's in. The only person he's actively rude to is Sami, who has it coming in spades, so it's surprising to me that anyone thinks he's only kind to Marlena. He's downright sweet with Sonny. He's fine with Lucas as long as they're not on the subject of Sami. He was great with John a week or two ago... As for the sexual undertones, I see them and they're very welcome. I could see it being in a character like EJ's nature to use sexual attraction to keep Will off balance and get under his skin, and imo, Will likes it. It wouldn't even reach the top ten most scandalous things on soaps, as long as they don't act on it, which they certainly won't. It's not like EJ raised Will. Edited by six, Jul 4 2012, 03:59 PM.

While they didn't celebrate it, glad it was pointed out in more than once scene that it was 4th of July. As for the whole sexual undertones. There's no sexual interaction in the scene, but there is dialog that can be taken that way. Ie. The "get me off" lines or Will's line about the next step in their relationship. It's not meant to me sexual between the characters, but the dialog is funny in how it's presented. It's not meant to be pervy, it's not pervy. It's actually being praised. |

July 4, 2013 (ie next year) will be the 30th anniversary of Bo and Hope's famous Independence Day kiss, when Hope was working the kissing booth at the Salem July 4th Picnic. Assuming the show's still on the air, I hope they acknowledge that special moment. |

Carrie and Rafe were so disgusting(this word truly describes the both of them) in today's episode. Poor stupid Austin. He is being made the fool. How many times are we gong to be subjected to these "talks" between Cafe. They are saying the same shit EVERYTIME they talk. Will wants to be like EJ  . Wish Andrew will kill the red headed twit already. Getting tired of her ass again..

I agree, Ali. I also do not see anything sexual about their relationship. And I would add that I think people could project sexual undertones with E.J. and anyone. E.J. is a very powerful and controlling figure and James naturally has a very "sexual" or "sensual" way about his person, in speech and movement. I also think that Chandler and James also work together very well together. I love this storyline with Will and E.J. and see it as a father/son and/or mentor/protege relationship. I really enjoyed their scenes today. On the other hand, I was totally bored with Gabi/Mel/Chad. |

The Cafe scenes today were awful. How many times have we seen and heard the same conversation.from these two? Just end it already and put us all out of our misery. |

EJ to Sami: What? That we have this connection together, Samantha? Body and soul. It's forever. That's the truth of the matter.

I am beyond tired of these 2, separately and together, their repetitive dialogues. I think they are very boring to watch. Can't we see others too? They have now been saying the same things since before May Sweeps. Where are J&J, Victor? I am also really tired of the teens, I think they are boring and insignificant. Ej and Will scenes was priceless. "I own you." I love it, he is going to eat his words soon though. ;) And Will wants to be more like Ej, I knew that was a reason why I liked him  Edited by JamesScott_19, Jul 4 2012, 09:53 PM.

As far as the sexual chemistry, I don't see that with Ej and Will. I do think they have amazing chemistry though but not anything creepy about them.

I was soooo hoping Will was going to say to Ej, "you're my b*tch now". I would have loooved it. I just want Sami to walk in on Will and Ej. It would be so fitting, lol. But Ej has to be the bottom, that's all I'm saying. |

I don't disagree that their scenes are repetitive, but Christie Clark was only in five episodes last month. We have been seeing people other than Cafe. The "teens" were all only in 8 episodes and under. These characters having too much screen time is not a real issue. |

I didn't say that CAFE is on too much. I meant that they have been saying the exact same things for months now. You'd never think that Carrie was with Austin, nothing much has changed. |

I think he's often very rude and dismissive with Sonny and Lucas. I get the impression that he just doesn't care unless he can go be with EJ. Since this is also the only aspect of the character that the show cares about, it takes away any rounding of his character. I think the sexual undertones are mostly a copout. Will seems asexual to me when it is time for actual relationships (the scenes with Neil were awful and he has thinly veiled contempt for Sonny), so they have him throw out some double entendres with Will and EJ as a cover. If you take these away, what is left of Will? Does he serve any purpose or have an interesting relationship with anyone? |

I am digging the whole EJ and Will power trip but I can't stand Will's smirky expressions! He looks like everything is funny which is really annoying. I like how EJ is now backed into a corner and hopefully can get back to his evil ways to put Will in his place because as of late he has been too soft and boring! Let him show Will how the big boys play! (and I'm not talking about the sexual undertones!!) |
