I remember when we didn't have to be told a couple had sexual tension. It was there in the way they moved, talked, spoke and looked at each other. Time was given for there not to be dialogue, but they didn't put a red arrow on the screen and write "THEY HAVE SEXUAL CHEMISTRY". It was just there. See: John & Marlena share a dance at Blue Note. John was with Kristen, but everybody knew at that time she wasn't his choice, just a stand-in. Marlena walks up, his best friend in the world, and all she says is "Hi sailor", and you just knew. THAT is chemistry.
People can keep telling me EJ and Sami have sexual chemistry but it ain't there onscreen for me. When it is, I don't need to be told.
Word. I heart this post. I find the "sexual tension" spoilers laughable. I don't need to be told who has sexual tension either. I either see it or I don't and with EJ and Sami I don't see it. It looks more like constipation to me. It's really pathetic. The only thing good that came out of EJOLE, in my opinion, was the SL connected to this:
Posted Image
That is the mayor election and Nicole acting as publicist and the SL they shared just before Taylor, i.e. the fake marriage situation.
As a scheming team they really sparkled, the only problem is that Nicole was all "don't do that EJ-- its not right" .. and that comes from Nicole? Nicole who did horrible things without blinking?
For just a few seconds there they sparkled as a couple and I was all EJOLE.
But then came the reveal and of course Rafe had to make his moment. And of course this extremely horrible SL about hiding yet another child from EJ came about. Because of this I am ANTI-EJOLE at the moment. Maybe the writers with time can repair the damage but ....
Everything else with EJOLE was horrible. Nicoles unsureness and "pitty me" party, EJ being unfaithful with Nicoles sister and then they acted like it never happened... I could go on.

EJ to Sami: What? That we have this connection together, Samantha? Body and soul. It's forever. That's the truth of the matter.

Seriously. While I don't like what should be subtext overtly pointed out to me, it is helpful - b/c without the overt mention, I would miss all the supposed "chemistry" between them, invisible as it is to me. Or, rather, no more special as it is to me. It wouldn't register otherwise.
The operative phrase here is "sexual tension" which for me is all that exists btwn them. We all know that Ej's lower half is magnitized to Sami's hooha, that's about it. Is it true love? Are they soulmates meant to be? No matter how many hot n heavy sex scenes they show me, I dont see it.
And that is fine. I have never seen anything sexual between LUMI and that was long before E.J. came to town. EJole. I FF them, it's that painful to watch them. Jarlena, Maggie/Victor. I see nothing there, but others do and they love them. EJami, Bricole, now that for me is chemistry :cheer: .

I really like his genuine smiles with AZ. It's so good to see him NOT teapotting, muppet-facing, yelling at, or abusing someone. As for the tickling, I remember when he had put Nic over his shoulder and she tickled him. It was so sweet and funny.
Someone's gotta make the man smile with pure pleasure, something Miss Beastie never does.
Spoilers ARE descriptors. They describe what comes next.

I know I'm in the minority but I like "happy" EJ. I could watch that clip all night. Thanks. I also like happy EJ. I dont like all pity EJ, all the time. The guy actually wants people to lend a shoulder to cry on all this summer. Thats what hes basically done with Beast. He's told her, damnit, I'm Lexies brother too...listen to my poor me speech. He's been pissy because he lost his love Nicole, by his own fault, his father and sister. While people should feel bad for him, this is EJ DIMERA! How does he expect people who he hurt, try to kill, etc...be sympathetic? And, why would he want the fake sympathy.
Nicole and EJ are in the same situation- they had no friends in Salem except each other. Thats where DAYS went wrong and isolated theses two characters. Both should have had at least one other person that was believable and could sympathize with their fear of losing the baby and what has happened to his father/sister/relationship.
During the election, Nicole didnt say "its not right." She was the one who stole the moderators questions. She didnt object when she found out about the pension scheme he planned and executed. She was the one that won him the election. She was the one that gave those reporters the tip to ambush Abe about John when John was looking guilty. Actually, she encourages the lying and cheating when it came to the election. What she didnt want and made clear were secrets and lies in their personal relationship- that's when she told him she rather not go through with their relationship if he was keeping secrets.

This show needs to figure out what does it wants it's viewers to thinks and if its reasonable.
Are we really supposed to watch this show and be mad at Lucas for wanting this man away from his family? Because that's not going to happen. Ej is doing the same thing he did when he came to town and trying to embed himself into Lucas family.
It's like he doesn't give a crap about these people until Lucas is in town. Then he's all about taking over his family and the show is all about making everything about poor little EJ.
Does this show really want us to side with EJ and feel bad for him? It's not going to happen. This is why EJ is not a good head character. Even if this storyline takes six months, viewers are not going cheer that they found EJ innocent. He's not that type of character. they will either stop watching or be happy the storyline is over but EJ is too devisive of a character To write like he's the show's hero, which is basically what they're doing.
I'm tired of them using every character to pimp EJ. They damaged Will with all this. I will never buy that his loyalty is with EJ instead of Lucas, his father who took care of him his whole life and nearly died protecting him. This show just plainly sucks.

wait a minute. this IS ej's family too. this family is not exclusively lucas'. ej has as much right as lucas. besides, sami and will are both adults. they chose to be involved with ej. I for one am enjoying the ejill and ejami interactions and based on feeback, so are a lot of people.
ej going through this ordeal is necessary in order for him to pay for his past transgressions i get that even though my heart is breaking for him. but ej must go through hell in order for him to grow as a person. hopefully, will and sami will be there for him and supporting him every step of the way. it will be worth it.
as for lucas, i can not feel any sympathy for him as he knew there was unresolved feelings between ejami and he even confronted sami about them when he first returned. he was a fool to get involved with a woman he knew was harboring secret feelings for another man. he put himself in that position. now he has to deal with it.
i don't blame him for wanting to protect his son though. but it is just too bad because will is an adult and such he gets to make his own choice.

i know what you mean. it is unbelievable that lucas or even rafe could get the better of ej. the idea is ridiculous. yet the writers are biased against ej and they like giving his haters crumbs by getting him beaten up by his enemies. anyone with common sense knows it is beyond contrived.

Lucas is the one being obsessed with EJ. EJ's not ordering Lucas away from Sydney and Johnny or spending all his scenes discussing Lucas.
Lucas came to town on a telling Sami she still has feelings for him speech. Now he's on the ordering Sami to stay away from him speech along with trying to order Will around. Both of whom are adults with minds of their own.
Every conversation Lucas has to anyone revolves around EJ. They're also showing Lucas in the wrong, Will & Sami are right and EJ's innocent.

Rafe has gotten the better of EJ plenty and at least when Rafe and Lucas fight they actually fight EJ while EJ hires others to do his dirty work. But yeah as currently written Sami is not worthy of having anyone fight over her.

Hes obssessed over her so much to make himself feel better he needed to eliminate the competition by putting fakes in her bed and locking people in freezer trucks while stalking her at every turn. When Rafe or Lucas do any of that is when I would call them obsessed. EJ just never could stand to lose and he ALWAYS came in last and acted rather pathetic trying to regain control and Lucas was saying all that shit recently because MarDar were going with EJAMI but now all bets are off.

Excited for the unintentional hilarity of Ejucas duking it out.

Monday ("The Fight") Rafe and Roman break up a fight between EJ and Lucas; Ian becomes suspicious of Kate.
With visions of previously choreographed fight scenes in my head...this spoiler makes me cringe.
i know what you mean. it is unbelievable that lucas or even rafe could get the better of ej. the idea is ridiculous. yet the writers are biased against ej and they like giving his haters crumbs by getting him beaten up by his enemies. anyone with common sense knows it is beyond contrived.
Well at least we have the scene in my gif of EJ knocking the troll out  He let EJ punch him and since then Rafe has knocked him out plenty. It all goes in a cycle.
