The August peak is interesting. Is Nick going to still be in prison at this point?
I mean, he shouldn't be. His sentence was only 2 years.

Some of us like evil in our fictional fantasy worlds.

Sometimes I want the bad guy to get away in movies and on tv shows.

I can't be the only one.
In most films and shows the bad guys normally get caught and pay at the end. I normally don't root for rapists on SVU or serial killers on Criminal Minds to win and go on raping and killing people.
Well of course not because they are not written for you to root for them. But there are plenty of rootable bad guys in film, tv and books. I rooted for Robert DeNiro's character to get away at the end of Heat. I rooted for Ben Aflleck's character to escape to Florida at the end of The Town. I rooted for Damon all throughout season one of The Vampire Diairies. Villains can be just as rootable as the good guys.

The clue 8 with the K and the Ma in it is was thinking could it be possible that Kate/Madiosn are around one another since they do work together and both of them get injured somehow and obviously maybe Madiosn does not survive it sonce she is leaving shortly after they return from break they return on the 13th of August and Madison leaves on the 15th of August. Thanks for the bandage could mean maybe Kate is trying to offer some assistance to help Madison maybe she is trying to save her life by offering some aide to her. Or since the name ends in n it could possible be Ian whose head is covered in a bandage but I think the last two names the K might be Kate and the Ma might be Madison.

True, but something could have happened off-screen to extend his sentence. Plus, I wouldn't put it past Tomlin not to stick to the two year sentence he got.

LOL, he's the one that was in charge back then!

Right now practically nobody on this show exists for any purpose but to be paired up. Individual storylines especially for women are flukes or more often propping of other characters. When I see people consistently taking a stand for characters to be written as more than one half of a pair, or praising when characters like Jennifer who usually get only romance storylines finally get things like Carly's intervention or the election (instead of ridiculing the believability of her being a professional force/demanding the next Jack scene) I'll believe that it matters to people on principle.

Once upon a time Marlena Evans was nothing to me but a constant damsel in distress; I'm glad these days I can see a little more of what made her great in the 70s and 80s. I have low expectations for TomSell but my preferences remain the same.

px - (Newer) viewers not knowing what a big deal a J&J wedding is is bad grade soap writing to begin with, so I think your question is kind of moot.

Why is Brady/Jen bad but Ej/Sami is good????

To be honest though, I'm pushing for a Kristen/Brady power play thing....not really a relationship.

Just putting this out there...

Could the new set be the return of the Penthouse Grill? Maybe under a new name? Could Victor have let Maggie reopen it and she works with Abe to hold the Gala in Lexie's honor? Since the Grill is at the top of the Titan Building, Salemites would have to use the elevator to get to it.

Madison, being the "busy" business woman she is, could be having her wedding dress fitting in her office. (I mean what hasn't been done in a Titan office?)

They never really explained specifically why Ian wanted to be CEO of Titan (he was a rich businessman to begin with...no need to run someone else's company), maybe his plan all along was to help Stefano take down Titan...building and all.

Thanks Keith :)

Was just reading Joe Mascolo's first role on the show as Dr. Tufano. Hard to picture him as anyone besides Stefano on "Days." He had scenes with Tom & Mickey...was picturing him as being a lying doctor (who was sharing notes with Alice on the side), instead of the respected Italian doctor as he was supposed to be in the scene!

I was just thinking earlier how I would love to see his scenes as Dr. Tufano. I love how similar the name is.

I didn't notice the similarity in names, yeah, if you stick an S on it, then it becomes Stufano!

I only have his debut scene, so here it is:

HOSPITAL ROOM IN RAPALLO, ITALY

(Take it up immediately as Dr. Tufano finishes with stethoscope. He turns, whispers some orders to the nurse. The nurse leaves the room, the doctor turns to face Armstong, Mickey and Tom, who are near the doorway but still outside the room. Armstrong steps forward, Tom and Mickey follow)

Armstrong: Dr. Tufano? I’m Mr. Armstrong from the American State Department. (Extending his hand to the doctor)
Dr. Tufano: (Speaking with an English Accent) How do you do sir. Mr. Carter told me to expect you.
Armstrong: This is Dr. Thomas Horton and his son, Michael Horton. (The men shake hands, Dr. Tufano pausing to study Tom a moment, holding his hand)
Dr. Tufano: Dr. Horton, I’ve heard of you. (Beat) I’ve read your works on cardiology in our Italian medical journals. (No hero worship, just the respect of one doctor to another)
Tom: Good to meet you, Dr. Tufano.
Dr. Tufano: (Reaching for a nearby cardiogram) Maybe you’d like to inspect the cardiograms, Doctor. It was a coronary. (Tom inspects the cardiogram) Unfortunately, I don’t have any previous cardiograms to compare with this one.
Tom: (looking at cardiogram) There’s obviously major damage to three leads. (turning to Tufano) How about Dobovik’s family? Can they be of help in finding out if he has a coronary history—if there are any previous cardiograms?
Dr. Tufano: From what I’ve been able to gather, the man lived alone, has no family.
Tom: Do you know who the colonel’s doctor has been?
Dr. Tufano: (puzzled) Colonel?
Armstrong: The patient’s real name is Colonel Dobovik, Doctor. He’s a former Soviet officer who defected.
Dr. Tufano: I didn’t know… In fact, I’ve never met the man before this. (At this point, the nun returns, looks from Mickey to Tom)
Nun: Mr. Michael Horton?
Mickey: Yes, Sister, I’m Mr. Horton.
Nun: (handing him a telegram) A cablegram for you.

(Mickey opens it and we see a stunned reaction, but he says nothing. During this, Tom and Dr. Tufano have their heads together, conferring)

Dr. Tufano: If you’ll excuse me, Dr. Horton, I’ll see if the authorities have been able to find out anything more about this man.
Armstrong: Dr. Tufano—I’d like to see you for a moment if I may.

(Dr. Tufano and Armstrong step out into the corridor, leaving Tom and Mickey in the room with the nun who is taking the Colonel’s blood pressure. Mickey gets his father aside, shows him the cable.)

Even as a simple doctor, he's shrouded in dangerous mystery. Love it. Thanks for sharing, Jason. And English accent...I thought his American accent in Jaws 2 was jarring. haha

Colonel Dubovik was the man who picked Mark Brooks up in a jungle in Korea and took him to Russia. This is when Tom/Mickey are trying to confirm/find out more info about Dr. Mark Brooks actually being their son, Tommy Horton.

PS: Let's keep this thread on topic here though about the Sneak Peek thread. I'm not ready to release all this historical info of 1968 yet, I just got the info in myself, so I've had not much time to look through it yet. I just wanted to briefly mention that one Dr. Tufano scene!
