Ejami scenes are just amazing!! I love how they both realize what they are doing and are like "WHAT?" Those 2 always look like they are about ready to sop it up with a biscuit and that is the kind of chemistry you need on t.v. More please! |

Carolyn Culliton wrote it. She always nails it and is pretty much a goddess IMO. Seriously, if she (and her husband) wrote every Days script, they could pretty much fix any plot issues with their grasp of the characters, the right dynamics for them and their perfect dialogue. This show is so lucky to have them. |

So True JB and TS, the scenes surrounding EJ and Sami were remarkably done. So many things that needed to be said were said. I loved when Sami said the kids were special, and she remarked on EJ being special.. Oh man I gushed soo much today reading the DA and watching the clips. LOL I can't wait to watch the show live tomorrow. |

I'm a huge fan of orange ;) I don't mind orange pants (actually own a pair myself) and I have orange shoes, shirts, dresses, etc. Although I don't think the color orange looks bad on Bryan, I really don't like the fit of this shirt at all! It makes him look frumpy....and standing next to EJ and Sami, who are impeccably dressed, just make him look worse. Wardrobe needs to get their act together!! Some people look great, and then others look like they belong in a Glamour Don't |

I'm so excited to see the build up for Jarlena vs EJ (Sami and Will) for Dimera Enterprises. If well written, this could be a great story. A fight for power. I've always wanted to see EJ and Brady go up against each other as heads of DE and Titan. Days always screws up corporate stories though. CW vs MW, for example! So I'm not expecting much! I gotta admit, I'm fast-forwarding this whole "Gabi stalker/Mel kidnapping" story, so I have no clue what's happening with that now. But I've heard, it's supposed to be building up to something big next week and into the cliffhanger week....so I should make a point to watch. And as for the EJ and Sami scenes.....they were perfect: from the almost kiss to the hug at the end! There were a lot of varying emotions expressed in those scenes and I loved all of it. James and Ali did a great job and the dialogue was really well written! Why can't the show always be like this? |

TFP! I've been trying to wait to read the write-up until after I've watched the show, but I must admit it's very hard to do! I have no willpower! I'll comment after I've watched. |

I so agree. Nine times out of ten, when I really enjoy an episode, one of them turns out to be the writer. I really wish they could be the head writers. They have a gift of being able to define characters. |

I am all for Ejami, as the writing and dialogue sound great, but I still hate the show's overall story telling. How can they just forget Ejole. TPTB have lost their knack on integrating stories and keeping character interaction meaningful. Out with the old and in with the new, absolutely no shades of gray, this is what I hate the most. Flip-floppy SL with no ramifications or reference to old. |

It's hard for me to care, usually, what Bryan Datillo is wearing - dude has some seriously amazing arms! But I do agree DAYS needs to look into the wardrobe situation. I sooo love my EJAMI, it's what draws me back to DAYS again and again, but I hate seeing Lucas set up again to be the man out again in their romance. I don't know if the writers are just trying to tease the EJAMI's and LUMI's into complacency or if they are finally going to focus on EJAMI, but Lucas is intelligent and sweet and I don't want him being Sami's "lapdog", as E.J. would say. Maybe bring in Autumn? I love Joe Mascolo/Stefano and I do miss them but I'm glad E.J. is, apparently, there without him to deal with this situation. E.J. is more than capable of taking care of himself and I would love to see him come out of this situation even stronger, more fearsome than he went into it. I would love for the Salem residents to think that they have him exactly where they want him only to have him surprise them all and come out of it unscathed. The guy playing Andrew has a great creepiness factor. The scene yesterday when he was telling Melanie to get back into the room gave me the willies. And, of course, so grateful for my EJAMI moments. More, please? |

I agree about the storytelling. But I think this is a problem with most of the soaps right now. They feel they have to rush through stories and as a result, they skip tons of beats that would make those stories deeper and more interesting. |

I agree. I may love these Ejami scenes, but they are just scenes. The overall storytelling is still lacking for the show. The pacing is just so off. They drag out certain things (seriously Cafe, how many times are you going to lament your inability to be together?) but then they rush through other key beats and have relationship dynamics turn on a dime. I'm really hoping that having LB join as breakdown writer can help with the pacing. To me, pacing and lack of stakes for their stories were MarDar's two biggest issues. Regarding Ejami, I think they've created a fairly decent arc from the end of March until now. They've been building up the friendship and shown little pockets of sexual tension so today's and yesterday's scenes aren't that surprising. But the problem was they had Ejami do a complete 180 at the end of March and the only reason for this major turn was Sami and the kids having no place to live. Like I said, I've liked the progression for the last four months, but I wish the initial shift in their dynamic would've been written better and played out longer. |

I have been watching the Gabi/Melanie/Chad kidnap story. When did Gabi turn into an obsessed nut? Last time I watch she was the butter wouldn't melt in her mouth type. Guess she's the bad seed. The story is silly. If Gabi aims to be a true crazy, she needs to read up on Jan Spears. Melanie has changed quite a bit - she's far more subdued than she used to be - kind of lost her feisty factor. Chad is the same - kind of just there. The new guy - is his name Andrew- he livens things up. The actor is good. But I wouldn't miss this story if it suddenly went poof. Sounds like story IS going to go "poof" or maybe "kaboom" on July 27. It's pretty funny to me that the big Olympics cliffhanger that likely leads to the death of a couple characters was put into motion by freakin' Gabi. Apparently Gabi is the new big bad in Salem. LMAO. |

Chad is a drip. Hard to believe he's a DiMera. My problem with this is that if they want Gabi to be psycho, they needed to make her really cray cray and a threat to those who get in her way. |
