Makes me no never mind at this point. I know Lumi will be coming in august. Sooner or later there had to be a confrontation about Ej. Its better its out of the way so Lumi can rescue Will before he ends up a Dimera pawn.
He already is a Dimera pawn and Sami is just as bi polar as Will is they are behaving EXACTLY the same way. So I doubt she will be helping "rescue Will". At least not in the next two weeks for which we have spoilers of her "helping Elvis".

Lucas has not shouted, my husband and I watched the show together, and we both heard no shouting.
But if it's said to have happened it must have happened. Like EJami's slow build? They didn't just take Sami from hatred to friendship then changed her character to be fine with the constant blackmail of her son and the Dimeras to fit the storyline. Never would they do that. Never!

Let's face it. Lucas is a shrew and poor little Sami is the victim of big bad Lucas, who just walks around insulting her intelligence and being her overbearing father. Good thing this is such a great storyline!

Wow. That's a lot of sarcasm.
Wait, didn't Lucas actually do the the week of Lexie's memorial? He was basically forbidding Sami to see EJ last week and yelled at her when he found out she didn't do it.
Yeah, I remember!
I even remember the dialogue. Lucas said something like I thought we agreed to talk to EJ as a united front and Sami said, no that was you telling me what to do.
Well, to kinda remember dialogue from this shitastic show is a definite plus since I can barely keep straight their story lines and non storylines.

If you think Lucas has spent this entire week insulting Sami's intelligiance and being overbearing father... More power to you.

Days is really keeping the hints about The Event quiet. Shouldn't we be teased so we will be sure to watch?

If it's anything like Stefano's murder, than I think it will be a complete let down.

Sooner or later? When is Lucas not confrontational about EJ? It's all he does. Harp and rant and rave about EJ to Will, to Sami. Last week, the week before, today, next week, the week after. EJ-EJ-EJ.

Will's liking where he is, he doesn't need rescuing by anyone. He even said outloud he has more loyalty to EJ than his own mother. Lucas's actions will push him to that side with Sami and make Will have more loyalty to EJ than Lucas now too. Will and EJ is going to be here to stay with the media love they get and based on Chandler and James's recent comments doesn't sound like they're not together (in EJ-Will sense) anymore.

I'm confused. Did I miss a spoiler or article stating Lumi will be coming in August?

SAmi getting dumped?! GOOD! She needs to be alone to figure her shit out though I wish just once she was allowed to break things off with Lucas.

It doesn't say they break up. Just that Lucas "confronts" her about EJ, which he does to her and Will everyday he's on. He's supposed to confront her tomorrow too.

I hate Austin's leaving with Carrie. He should be dumping her and leaving on his own.
I am also basing that they breakup on BD's comments in the SID and SOD mags. Whether they break up this week, next week or after the olympic break he says they do. Thats fine with me because she needs a TO from men as she moved on too quickly from Rafe back to Lucas, so their instsa reunion was doomed from the start. So that is why I want her ALONE to really figure out who and what she wants. But as I said I really wish she could dump him for change. The perfect setup was when she was telling him to get away from her. Not looking forward to scrunchy faced Sami. :shame: I agree with you that I wish Austin dumped Scarrie.
The problem is that she is unable to be alone. She has always cried/feared to end up alone with no one to love her. Which means TADA! the door (and whatever else) is wide open for you know who. :hmmph:

Lucas is the blame for this nonsensical writing? For Will's disloyalty? If he just accepted everything then none of this would be happening?

Ohkay...

So she needs to be in a coma or thought to be dead for awhile... if she can't be alone because the PTB refuse to write it. I am hoping this cliffhanger leaves her gravely injured or missing for a while.

If he was really tactical about this whole thing, he would bite his tongue and just observe, all the while working with John in the background on taking him down. Obviously its gotta make his blood boil to see his love canoodling with EJ but this might be a good thing. While EJ is distracted by his sexual tension, he won't notice John taking over his company. HAHAHA. I'm waiting to see the look on his face, the look of a fool!! :cheer: IF it even gets that far before Stefano comes back.

Tomswayer- I know deep down she lives Austin but cause of Rafe and cause she's confused she can't focus on Austin and her baby. At least she chooses to leave with Austin and their child... Right??

I don't blame Lucas for wanting Sami to stay away from EJ. By his own admission, he knows she has unresolved feelings and they are getting closer again. Plus, his son seems to have some kind of loyalty to EJ too. So yeah, I'd be concerened if I were Lucas too. The problem is that the writing isn't better for Lucas to make his concern more rootable. Unless you are a long-time Lucas fan, they haven't given most viewers enough reason to really care what Lucas thinks since they've given him so little screentime over the last few weeks. The writers simply haven't invested much in having the audience relate to Lucas, so why should they care if he's upset or worried about something?

Really wish Austin would have been able to take out the trash (Carrie) before they exited...now all I can imagine is her forever betraying him and pining away for pappi's cock...

Absolutely downright disprectful if you ask me to do this to such a character like Carrie!

uhh its the other way around. I see Lucas as John Black now, always wanting to save his family from the Dimera's. That is not obsession, that's reasonable concern.
Sami has scenes and conversations that don't involve or talk about EJ. John always had other scenes and conversations that weren't about the Dimeras. All Lucas is about is EJ. To the point that Will points out to Lucas that every conversation they have is about the same topic.

John also had reasons for his actions, Lucas is just jealous/mad of Will and Sami's not following in line to what Lucas orders them to do and not feeling the same about EJ that he feels.
just want to say that not all of Lucas's conversations are about EJ (not sure how many conversations Sami has that aren't about EJ - hers seem to be about him, Will and Lucas....maybe with Carrie and Rafe thrown in there for one day). And when he does talk about EJ, it's not like he doesn't have reason to talk about EJ. They are about EJ when they have something to do with his son - he and Will are having the same conversation, not because what Lucas does all the time is talk about EJ, but b/c Will is so wrapped up in EJ, so that is what Lucas is concerned about and talks to him about. They have the same conversation because Lucas's concern for Will working so closely with EJ hasn't ebbed - it's only increased now that he fears his son thinks he has EJ figured out. And if and when he feels Sami is around EJ all the time, I can totally understand that bit of jealousy and memory in him perking up, and so he talks about EJ. Or he talks about EJ when he goes to Jarlena to talk about Will and so they talk about EJ and DE Enterprises. I don't see him going grocery shopping and comparing the shape of a melon to the shape of EJ's head or hearing someone speak in a garbled English accent and say, hmm, sounds just like EJ.

But, of course, the writing right now is very Ejami and Ejill heavy, so that is what Lucas is caught up in, so that is what he is talking about.

If he is "obsessed" with EJ, it is only b/c he feels he and Sami have both talked about being on the same page, they said pretty much those exact words, and to see her so close to EJ, why wouldn't that raise some kind of alert in him. I don't forget the last time EJ broke Lumi up, I doubt Lucas does too. And that is why Sami should make a choice, or should take the time to resolve her feeliings. If he suggest that she do it, more power to him. He is right - she needs to figure it out. B/c until she does, it's this same fuckwit nonsense for years, and I am not supporting it.

Just my two cents on that.

Good to see that Cafe is coming to a close - I doubt their last words to each other will be any different than the same three words they keep saying over and over again to each other. I hope Andrew does reveal Gabi's secret - I am really liking that mental patient kid. The confrontation between Nic, Dan, Maggie and Vic does sound interesting.

I think Lucas will get fired when EJ learns about him working with John to take over the company. This will also upset Sami, that he is working behind her back causing her to be a position to lose her job!

I am ready for EJ / Sami to come together to take on the rest of Salem. Tired of listening to Lucas rant about EJ. He can take his 80 hairstyle and leave.

I'm not hearing enough about how Sami/Lucas/EJ are obliterated by the upcoming event. If the event is big and they escape unscathed I'ma have a problem. And I don't mean having them get trapped together so they can talk about feelings or come to realizations and have sex- that would be lame and uncreative, imho (um, unless it's EJ/Lucas...which should happen at some point to release all their obvious sexual tension). I mean actual danger. It's strange, as much as I feel like Sami and EJ have devoured this show, they seem to be off in their own little universe.

Maggie and the rest- bet she won't be as pissed at Victor for stealing her egg when that egg saves her life...or something.

I thought Carrie/Rafe had promise, though it didn't intrigue me as much as the thought of Carrie/EJ did (and I flippin' hate EJ). It's time for them to have their last words though. I love the finality of that wording, like they're going to die.

Man, I am really rooting for this event to destroy people. Just...massacre. And lots of long-term suffering. This crop of Salemites at this time needs to be struck down for their general idiocy, imho.

It is exactly what they did to Jennifer. Both Jen and Carrie end up looking horrible because they had them fall for Dr. Dan and Rafe....the two most bogus characters on this show...over the their soul mates. I really can't stand either character now. I'm glad Carrie is leaving (although I wish Austin dumped her first as well) and would wish Jen on her way out as well if I didn't still hope Jack might be back at some point. Without her on the show, I KNOW he'll never be back.

ETA: If they aren't careful Nicole will go the same path because she's involved with BOTH of those losers. :toetap:
