Surprised to hear the faint tones of Bo/Carly's "One Dream", which won the Soap Opera Digest Award for best song in 1992, in this March 2, 1990 Steve/Kayla scene.

Always seemed like a nice catchy tune. Was fun finding its instrumental origins a year before it became Bo/Carly's theme!

"One Dream" Instrumental Version:
3/2/90: Steve/Kayla scene: "One Dream" instrumental (faint, piano-only version): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHHmHRnBXeg&feature=player_detailpage#t=403s

"One Dream" (with lyrics) Version:
And here's the more well-known "One Dream" (now with lyrics) that was Bo/Carly's theme in 1991: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ZKD_BwSlKv0#t=15s

PS: Special thanks to Hilary from the NicholsandEvans message board for finding the 3/2/90 scene on YouTube!

I loved this song, it's very cool to hear it in the background so early on :D

Very interesting, Jason! I'm pretty certain it's in other scenes that year as well. Never knew it had a name. :)

Finding the song last night reminded me that I always wanted to know who sang "One Dream." I checked last night with someone in the music department, but they said their records only go back to 1993 (the "post Marty Davich" years). So, another strike out in trying to find that info.
