Quoting limited to 4 levels deep
I agree that Will seems to be easily influenced by the power and toys - but we really haven't seen any indication that EJ had plans to set him up or cause him any harm. JS said in an interview that he believes EJ cares about Will - thinks of him as a step son. If EJ had really wanted to hurt Will I think he'd have done it when he was furious at finding out that Will had been doing Stefano's bidding in making sure Rafe found out about the grief sex.
Except they let us know that EJ did not really care if Rafe and Nicole found out because they never really showed him being tormented over losing Nicole.
But he was pissed enough to fire Will and take back the keys to the car and apartment. He was also pissed because Will was supposed to be working for HIM, not Stefano and Will didn't come to him.

I'm very glad Will called Lucas out on abandoning him. He didn't have to go so far as to say Lucas never should have came back though (although I wholeheartedly agree); it's disrespectful.
It's nice that ejami are working together.
It's too bad the show couldn't have worked out a way to put Sonny and Bope in Melanie's story from the beginning.
Will's a scared kid so he lashed out at his dad, possibly saying some things he didn't mean. Besides losing his all his cool toys, he's also afraid of what EJ will do to him. Lucas was right, Will really was in over his head, and drunk with power. He was flying high and daddy clipped his wings. At least he stopped smirking and smiling all the time! Liked the EJ and Sami scenes, amazed that she stayed after their previous "conversion"! I know soaps like to ignore history and want viewers to do the same, but wasn't EJ a match for Stefano when Stefano needed a liver? That would pretty much guarantee that they have compatable blood types. But then DAYS, medicine and police work seem to have a passing acquaintance at best. And heaven forbid history or logic get in the way of furthering a SL. Abby is still suspicious of Gabi - yes! Hope that nutjob in training gets found out. Ian is definitely thorough.... I guess hes changed the blood records at the hospital.

Ian is definitely thorough.... I guess hes changed the blood records at the hospital. in order to rule out the possibility of EJ being a blood match for Stephano, wont they have to know what his mother was?
Where did they get Susan's records from because if I am not mistaken, EJ could be carrying his mother's type and no one would know one way or the other.

Where did they get Susan's records from because if I am not mistaken, EJ could be carrying his mother's type and no one would know one way or the other. They wouldn't necessarily have to know his mother's information. There are certain types that can't be a match no matter what the other parent is. But it shouldn't be an issue to get Susan's information, too.

Love that Will and Sami are on EJ's side! I can't wait to see Will yell at Lucas for his betrayal. Seriously, Lucas needs to stop be so controlling & possessive with Will and Sami. Please go back to Hong Kong!
I really hope Days keeps up the EJILL dynamic! I do agree with other posts that Will needs to interact a bit more with characters his own age--like Chad!
Love that we're getting more awesome EJAMI scenes tomorrow! I'm still on an EJAMI high from today's scenes :chee: Soooo excited for EJAMI and Days! :whooohooo:

Oh, that sounds like a good epi. I only saw the ejami stuff, but the rest sounds good too.
Where to begin. EJami!!! God can James Scott turn it on. I liked the bit more subtle flirting today. Him smelling her hair and things while they watched the video. So sexy.
I like Lucas, but this week he's been giving me a headache. The more he makes demands and ultimatums, the sooner Sami is going to dump him. He's really getting on my nerves.
I can't help it, I'm just a huge Chandler-Will fan, as you can tell from my Avi. I was a fan way before his bromance with EJ. But I like this wild, bratty Will. He reminds me of Sami at that age. They have do much in common, but can't get along. There too much alike.
So TomSel have been writing less than a week and suddenly EJ is suave, confident, and yes, arrogant again. John is a DiMera. Lucas is an asshole, and WonderDouche (Rafe) thinks EJ might be innocent. We can't have anyone but Rafe solve the case.
Yep, Gary Tomlin is in da house.

TFP I do think Sami will tear into EJ because she's been asking him for weeks what he's still lying about. Now, she knows. The way she's fallen for EJ again, I think she'll get over it after she chews him out.

I'd like to see some if the other 20 something's mix it up more with the older cast. It will improve their performances if they get more time with the vets.

And Lucas is absolutely right - Will is in way over his head. EJ would throw him under the bus in a heartbeat if it meant he could skate for one of his crimes. He wouldn't even bat an eyelash, just step over Will's carcass and then go over and try to seduce Sami just for the sake of having a little more fun. EJ plays with Will like a cat plays with a mouse just before it pounces on it and kills it. Will is too young and too naive to see it, that's all.
But it was EJ that encouraged Will to tell the truth about where he was the night Stefano was shot, knowing that he was a suspect himself. That's the opposite of throwing him under the bus - he gave him support and good advice.
That is true but Stefano's murder isn't one of his crimes. Setting up Will was already beginning just before Will found Alice's letter. He was sending him to pick up an envelope of money that both Will and EJ knew wasn't obtained legally. EJ is playing Will and has been all along and Will is letting him because he's got dollar signs in his eyes ... he was very easily corrupted by money and power.
I don't see any evidence EJ had bad intentions toward Will. He did the best he could for the kid. EJ was modeling his fathers parenting style as most men do. I don't think Will ended up worse off. He was even more fucked up before EJ him on. And definitely Lucas has a huge share in why Will was fucked up.

Police station - Part 3: In Roman's office ... Roman - I don't know what's taking that hospital so long. Rafe - Agent Spencer, are you beginning to lean towards EJ now? Spencer - All the evidence is beginning to add up. The failed polygraph, the glove, the bullets ... it's hard not to. Rafe - Yeah I hear you but my gut's telling me something's not right. The phone rings. Roman - You've got the results ... okay ... thank you. Rafe - Don't keep us in suspense here. Roman - Stefano and EJ's blood types are not compatible.
Stupid after all the time EJ's been hospitalized, shot or Stefano has been in the hospital. They're telling me that neither of them figured out this "blood" impossible match before? I wonder if Ian swapped the files or did something to make this more guilty looking on EJ? Lucas just is awful. He's running around calling for justice bitching and shouting at Will and I guess tomorrow Sami gets it. Rafe's going to save the day with his not adding up doubts and Lucas is just sinking further.
that what happen when lucas character thrown under the bus to pimp ej and ej and sami pairing To me, it looks like GT has just dropped Lucas right back into the role he was in before he fired him. It's not that he's used to pimp, it's that he's a supporting character. Lucas at least is mixing it up this week and getting into the storyline, and some better cast interaction. He's better off this way. He may keep his job, and I am a fan, so that makes me happy.

Ack, EJ getting right up in Sami's business is so freaking hawt!! He kills me how he always has to be touching her, it's so reminiscent of their physicality in 2007, except there's a much deeper emotional bond between them now. How Ali can concentrate on speaking, let alone reciting dialogue, when James turns on the mojo is beyond me. I would die. Well I would have my way with him first, and then I would die.

Sounds to me like we are heading for SuperRafe being the one to figure out who really killed Stephano & help exonerate EJ . while Lucas comes across as a vindictive guy that just wants to get back at EJ .

Lucas yells at Sami.
Of course, he does.
What would we do without more Shouty McYellerson.
Are we sure Lucas isn't Victor's biological son, cause young Shouty McYellerson sure sounds a lot like Old Yelly McYellerson.
Anywho, good show again!
TFP!
ETA: And EJ/Stefano blood types don't match. Do they have their blood types on file? I realize this is a question that cannot and will not be answered. What's curious was a few years ago their blood types did match so EJ could donate an extra organ to Stefano and if they are going to a knowledge the whole Santeen thing via 'John is a DiMera' then how do we 'splain EJ's likeness toSanto?
Seriously, the premise of the story is good but the details are shyte.

Laughing because I just posted in another thread Sami was trying to prove reasonable doubt, as opposed to innocence. Really had not read ahead yet. Thanks for the write ups.
That still doesn't make sense to me. It makes him look more guilty to me. It only provides reasonable doubt that he was stupid enough to hide the gloves in his apartment. Reasonable doubt shouldn't be hard at all to show because there are so many other suspects. Or you know...he could give an alibi. I guess I'm glad they at least acknowledge it doesn't prove he's not guilty. Proving the gloves were planted helps in two ways. The person doing the planting becomes a serious suspect, and if a piece of evidence is recognized to have been planted, it's clearly contaminated and implies that the same could be true other evidence accumulated against the accused. Not to say the story couldn't be tighter, but it's far superior to Daniel being Maggie's egg baby, a decade before that was even a medical possibility, and I imagine EJ not being willing to give an alibi will play into the story down the road. :ermmmm:

I complained even more about the egg baby. The show has bad writers. This doesn't make sense. It's not some conspiracy against ejami or something that needs to be defended.
