Honesty here - is Rafe slotted to return to Sami's orbit? They wouldn't do that to me, would they? Love Lucas/Sami/EJ - hate, hate, hate Rafe. Lucas will become redundant if it becomes about Rafe again. Grrr.
they already wrote lucas as redundant in order pimp ej its nothing new

:shame:  I really, really, really enjoyed these past few Safeless months. Trust me, I did not take them for granted. Just yesterday when they were in a scene together and didn't acknowledge each other's presence, I told myself to enjoy it while I could. I'm glad I did that because otherwise my head would be spinning. :stars:

I love Sami minus Rafe, but my biggest fear is that the new powers that be will return to Safe as soon as they can with Carrie out of town. They seem to only pair Rafe with blond haired characters. If I have to endure Sami again being a flake between EJ and Lucus I`ll gladly deal with it, but I don`t want her with the one guy she has the least chemistry with and it being hailed the greatest thing when it clearly stinks. I just want something different.

Will says no he is smart enough to make his own empire
he never would have shot stefano,,,no matter all the terrible things that stefano did to him,,,,for some reason he still loves him.

Cute Will is trying to tell Sami he still loves her... but then she runs out on him again after he asks her to believe in him.
she ran out and went to help EJ; thus giving Will exactly what he asked of her.
I also think that when Will said it was important to him that he be the one to help EJ, it occurred to her that SHE wanted to be the one to help him.

I loved the Sami and Will scenes. A lot of truth spoken there.

Of course I enjoyed the Ejami scenes. Sami can comfort EJ like no one else. And who else thinks EJ kissing her was one of JS's ad libs? It was so natural.

The only dark spot was the Safe reference. I hope to the soap gods that the only reason to revisit Safe in any manner is for Sami to reject him. I like GG. He's hot and funny. But Carrie just left and I don't want to see Sami playing her part again.

there was a lot of truth being thrown out in the Sami and Will scenes; EJAMI's history is not being downplayed, it is what it is and tit for tat for the most part is what went on between them. Neither has any ground to stand on and judge, so right on William.

James did say that he and AS would not kiss unless they believed a scene called for it and boy did this one; it really was natural and you could see the absolute glee that Sami put on EJ's face and how much it meant to him that she was there for him whatever her reasons may be

Cannot wait for her to bail him out next.

I love how all this is being called truthtelling. Like anything that is pimping EJami is automatically truth. But truth comes from a characters true identity and solidly based characteristics.

Will standing beside EJ while showing no loyalty to his family will never be truth. Sami fighting at all cost to help EJ will never be truth because it's not organic. It's not true to character or to history.

There is nothing true about it.

The best truth in this show is when Sonny asks Will why he's doing this and Will says he doesn't know why. That's truth. It's the same as when Lucas asked Sami because there is no logical reason for these characters to be acting like this. You can say its Sami's love of EJ that no one saw six months ago or Will's admiration of EJ that also came out of the blue but the truth is this is all hogwash and none of this is true to the characters.

I really do think that if you don't believe Will has a huge, dysfunctional crush on EJ, his motives fall apart. I like Ejill in all it's dysfunctional glory and think it could provide some drama between Will and Sonny if and when their romance moves forward, so Will's behavior does make sense to me. (See Mr. Burns and Smithers) But I wish the show wouldn't be so NON verbal about it.

Sonny has almost called Will out on this crush, and I think he should just do it. I would also like Sami, Lucas or Marlena to notice that a crush would explain Will's behavior. EJ may be villainous, but he does have sexual magnetism to spare. Sami could even tell Will she gets it, but it's bad news. Someone, anyone, could tell EJ he better not take advantage of Will's feelings in other ways. It's a situation ripe for dramatic exploration even if nothing ever really happens between EJill. They should stop sitting on the fence and use what they've got.

Agreed. To me, that is the most interesting and realistic motivation for Ejill and I wish they'd overtly write it as such. When the Ejill bond gets too father-son that's when it loses its edge, so they should make Will's support of EJ as stemming from his crush on him. With EJ's general sex appeal and his mild flirtations with Will at moments, this would make sense. It would also be an interesting way to play it if they plan to put Ejami together at all, as it would give the Sami-Will relationship another layer of tension.

There is plenty, but ultimately it really just boils down to what it does to who you like IMO.

EJILL did not just come out of the blue; the writing has not been first class but we actually saw the movement in this relationship, we saw the stress being placed on loyalty and in this final chapter we are seeing the realisation of it. Will cannot put words to it, but it is something he feels strongly about and just knows from within it is the right thing to do. This is a very real and true emotion.

As for EJ and Sami; them being friends again is no different from them suddenly attacking each other under Dena; like before we accept what gives us what we want. That being said, EJAMI flipped over a bottle of wine but between that time and then they took the time to give us scenes of them re-building a friendship while at the same time not fully trusting each other.

Will called Sami out on the truth; she and EJ are BOTH responsible to what happened in their relationship and FINALLY someone is calling her out on it and not allowing her to carry on with the eternal victim act.

Does Kate still hate Sami? (Not watching much, so don't know :embarrassed: Maybe Ian and Kate are doing all of this to break up Sami and Lucas (Ian's doing it because he loves Kate) i.e. Framing EJ so that Sami will sympathize, fall for him more, etc. whle getting Lucas out of her orbit. Then crazy ass Ian takes it a few steps too far.

That would actually make a bit of sense because in the end I can buy that crazy Ian would kill Stefano and frame EJ for murder so that she can get her company back. The only other one standing in her way is Lucas and if she can work to break LUMI up while getting EJ into jail that leaves her free to take back CW and no one is stopping her.

Oh the possibilities for this sl if Will was a girl.

I this episode you very much get the sense that for Will it is more than love of luxury and power; I do not know if DOOL is daring enough to verbalize it though (not that it needs to go anywhere anyway)

lol, Kate thankfully seems to have better things to do that waste her time in her 40 yr old son's tepid love life!

She has her sights on her claim to DiEnterprises if last week's eppies and the coming of Kristen are anything to go by.
