Love the interview! Chandler sounds like the perfect guy and he looks so amazing in those pics! So funny he went on a date with a porn star  I can't believe Days would be dumb enough to end the awesome, super popular, and buzz worthy EJILL!!! :shame: Oh wait, this is Tomlin who is known for keeping actors with great on screen chemistry away from each other (ie EJAMI) :eyeroll: I agree with Chandler that WilSon shouldn't have a romance so soon. I like their friendship but their scenes are a little boring. I get a Lumi vibe from WilSon, which is NOT a good thing. There should've been more angst by having Will or Sonny date other guys. But I may be more supportive of WilSon once they have more scenes together so we'll see. Love all the great things that Chandler says about working with James and that he really enjoyed the EJILL dynamic! I also love Will with an edge and the EJILL stuff was a great way to show that interesting side of Will. I'll keep up the hope for more EJILL! |

They never wrote for Will and the only time his sexual orientation was brought up was as a plot point to his parents and EJ. Then the story evolved into blackmail and puppy love for EJ. It totally sucked. I'm hoping that they can pick the story up and make it interesting. |

Given what Eileen said about the gay storyline, I wonder if Chandler is the only performer on the show who isn't excited about seeing the Will and Sonny relationship develop and play out on screen. That would certainly make for some interesting viewing. |

While I love the EJ/Will dynamics, I am ready to move on. I really don't want to see them totally dead, I'd still like to see some scenes between them once in a while but I agree that I think it has gone about as far as it is going to go. I'm ready for WilSon to begin in earnest. I too think things could have gone a little better with the end of Will's coming out story (I'm still waiting for reactions from Abby and Chad) but I know that a lot of other things have been going on in Salem lately. I just hope that this romance isn't rushed which at this point I don't see a lot of romance coming from Will's side....he's been more interested in EJ. So maybe that is a good thing and it will be a slow build-up from his side. We already know Sonny has feelings for him and I am seeing some jealously from him as well over EJ. I just hope the writers don't chicken out and that the actors will bring it! Oh, and just to add....CM looks uber-hot in those photos. |

One good thing about Willigan, loved that he shared lots of scenes with EJ and cockblocked the Beast. Thanks Willigan...I want Will Horton back! |

Chandler's adorable sleeping with his Emmy. While I love EJ and Will, I'm happy Will will be doing other things. He does need some more balance to his character. He does still need to interact with EJ a bit too, but balance with everyone. I don't think he was slighting Freddie/WilSon for preferring edgy and EJWill. He's a working actor and spent all this time working daily with the lead of the show while the teen set were dealing with Gabi's fake stalker. He was given more of a lead adult story and as an actor, going from that back to the teen set I can see him thinking of a step back. Who wouldn't want to be in the lead stories daily? He also probably got paid a lot more too. |

Of course Freddie's excited. It gets him off the backburner. The opposite could be true for Chandler. |

Chandler is so handsome! I am thrilled to see the end of Ej and Will's relationship. My hope is that it because he and Sami do finally see how toxic EJ is with Sami. And besides Ej will be so busy with Nicole their new little Ejolett he won't have time for young Will! It all sounds good! I think he and Sonny will get together sometime, maybe it's just to predictable to do it now. Very few people stay with their first relationship, so maybe Will needs to be with someone else first to realize that he is in love with Sonny? Edited by Vicky4Mimi, Jul 23 2012, 10:29 PM.

I agree with your support of EJILL. But, Chad under EJ's wings!?! Um no thank you!! EJILL spent all this time developing a great working, father figure/son, and mentor/mentee relationship and clearly Will enjoys working for EJ & DiMera Enterprises. To have that end makes no sense at all. :frustration: I don't see why Will can't work for EJ and still have a romance story with Sonny or whoever. Chad's had hardly anything to do with EJ and hasn't had any interest in the family business. I will dislike Chad if they give him more scenes with EJ and take away EJILL! I thought I read somewhere we're going to get more CHILL scenes in the coming months. I do support CHILL so I'm okay with that. And Chandler is entitled to his opinions about his storylines. I agree with his opinions. Love Chandler! |

He needs some time on the backburner along with others right now. So fine with me if that happens. Thought doubt it is happening unless Sonny is involved in a different story that doesn't include Will coming up. And I doubt that. |

Haha Willigan. :D Oh wow - this is the best news I have heard in awhile. So happy happy happy if this is true about full-blown Ejill as we are seeing now wrapping up. If I have to put up with Ejami, then at least spare me this nauseating side helping of Ejill. And I don't know what Chandler is talking about this Will being edgier - he hasn't seemed edgier to me. Smirkier maybe, wearing more blazers, but not edgier. Pitty, b/c I was so looking forward to that when the Ejill relationship started. But not this lovesick whatever Will has for EJ. And not at the expense of Will relationship with his dad. So, anyway, glad that taken-as-far-as-it-can-go/ready-to-move-on dynamic might be on the downturn. Munching on kale? I like greens as much as the next person, but that sounds terrible. I initially didn't think I wanted Wilson as a couple. Something about Sonny being sort of Will's "coming out" mentor or touchstone made me feel weird about the possibility of them as romantic pairing - maybe it was that I saw Sonny as a mentor for Will that turned me off to it. But, despite Will's less than pleasurable antics lately, I have really liked what I have seen of Wilson (other than the few times I felt Will blew him off a little - and I don't mean that as a pun). Sonny is the best thing about Will these days, and that relationship evolving is one of the few things I am looking forward to in coming weeks/months. Edited by elci525, Jul 23 2012, 10:43 PM.

probably because EJ has such a presence to not take away from Wilson; I mean look at the press EJILL got, plenty people loved it and maybe they though Wilson could use all the support it can get rather than having to share. |

I don't really mind that Will works for EJ. The potential is there for some good material regardless if their actions are legal or a bit on the shady side. What I dislike is Will's obvious fixation and crushing on EJ. It's unhealthy for him since EJ is never going to return any feelings Will may possess for him. If this aspect of the EJ and Will dynamic is dropped along with their bizarre sexual innuendo while simultaneously letting Will pursue a legitimate, reciprocal relationship with Sonny (the perfect guy for Will who is ready and waiting for him), then I think most fans of both Will/EJ and Will/Sonny could be satisfied with the storytelling. |

I don't blame Massey for favoring Will and Sonny's relationship being platonic. I agree it was fresh to see two gay characters on a soap that weren't immediately forced into a relationship, just because they were the only two gay characters on the show. We got a handful of gay characters to tell Will's story. Even if most of them will never be seen again, it was quite refreshing to see in daytime. While saying that, I am looking forward to seeing more Sonny. Smith is a great addition to the show. And I'm all for Wally Kurth and Judi Evans getting more to play as Sonny's parents with his increased airtime. I just hope Tomlin/Whitesell do the story of Will and Sonny falling in love justice. As for EJ and Will, it was fun, but I'm not that upset about it ending. It will be a nice thing to have brought up every now and then, when it's necessary, but I won't mind not seeing Will being EJ's lapdog everyday anymore. |

Exactly. Let's face it, if Will were Samanther's 20-year-old daughter, she already would have seduced her erstwhile stepfather and perhaps done her best to get preggers. Clearly that isn't going to happen, though I could actually see both James Scott and Chandler angling to push the relationship nearly all the way. As an actor, it must be way more fulfilling to play against the lead male on the show vs a backburner-ed one-episode-a-week-guarantee bland neutered "convenient" gay. We will see how it plays out. DOOL has not exactly been known for telling successful romantic stories for the better part of the past decade and a half. Edited by dooldooldool, Jul 24 2012, 01:12 AM.

Yes to the ending of what quickly became boring and repetitive. Will's story needs better development. EJ has his hands in too many cookie jars enough already. They neeed to streamline their s/ls for better character growth and development. With a great cast Days is squandering all the talent they have at their disposal to play favourites with the actors rather than actually write compelling stories for all their character, balancing everything out. So I am happy to see the back side of EJill. |

LOL! Loved CM saying it was hard to keep his smiles from shining through while working with JS, and that, yes, sometimes he completely failed at containing them. And yes, I don't blame the boy if he's not excited about working with one of the bland wonders of Days (my interpretation, of course). I can't imagine that his acting chops will be stretched or challenged that much with FS/Sonny. Oh, well, Will, I'll miss you. I'll catch you if and when you escape from teen/+20 purgatory. ETA: Plus I'm sure life is much grander in the A storyline arena, than it is in the B/C arena. Edited by badaddiction, Jul 24 2012, 06:18 AM.
