Yesterday on danish tv was the episode where Carly stabbed Lawrence! Yes, we're watching episodes from 2009!,lol. Wiping some of the blood and her fingerprints off the knife, grabbing some papers from a drawer, getting her luggage and leaves. Next we saw of her was in a plane in a diva-disguise telling a fellow passenger that she's going home to Salem.

What a shocking scene to be re-introduced to longtime fans- and new fans that don't know/knew of her.
I hope you enjoyed that scene, because they're going to flash back to it approximately 90 more times before the story is over.
Oh they've already flashbacked to it maybe 10 times in just 4 eps. Danish tv are now airing two episodes in one day!

@Jason47, I'm Danish- not Dutch! :)

The Room Stops

I re-watched the best wedding in DAYS history last night. It's just so perfect, and Deidre and Drake both did such a beautiful job. They both sort of just got lost in the moment, and they both were so perfectly on point with the little looks and touches during the ceremony, and especially John ("Roman") kissing Marlena as she arrived at his side, before the priest started talking. And then the song, which is perfectly J&M, and the most beautiful, touching vows.

31 Years Ago: Nick's parents get married in the Horton Living Room:

Jessica Blake and Joshua Fallon (Nick's parents) wedding scenes from August 13, 1982.

Note that Harry Holcombe plays the Minister in this episode. Harry played a majority of the wedding officials on "Days" from the 1960s to the 1980s, and pretty much married all of the Hortons, including officiating at both of Doug and Julie's weddings in 1976 and 1981.

I wish Jessica at least could have attended Nick and Gabi's wedding.

I have a question about David Banning. Did he know about his two half-brothers (Dickie and Robert Jr.?)

He knew about Robert Jr. because he was a grown man when Julie was pregnant with him. I don't know whether he knew about Dickie.

Not like any of them are mentioned anyway. Doug knows about Dougie, but does Hope know or even care? What about Steve? Don't people find it weird that David's uncle had a kid with his wife's half-sister?

Deidre and Drake-Day of Days 2014

Anybody remember this Nick? He was just so sweet and nerdy! He was cute! The Nick we see on our screens now is a caricature of his former self. Bring back this Nick, please!

Nerdy Nick! Ahh good times. I do still enjoy seeing Nick on the screen, and see BB play this side to him. Not a Nick fan now, but I'm sure as heck are a BB fan! :)

I so LOVE seeing Anna/Leann Hunley in the Syd-napping SL from 2010.

27 years ago today and tomorrow:

UnSORASed Andrew is the perfect age to fit into the show's younger generation.

Hard to believe it's been 27 years! I remember being so distraught when Andrew was missing. It's been a long, long time since I've cared so much about characters on soaps. Right now, it's just a lingering affection for what the vet characters and the show itself once were.

Since one of those 1976 summaries mentions Julie painting a portrait of Sharon Duvall, here is a picture of Julie, the portrait, and Sharon's husband, Karl.
