I saw a promo from 2000 asking viewers to call in and choose who they wanted as the baby daddy. This is a clip of their love scene. At the time, I wasn't into Bope but I thought John and Hope were HHHOTTT. Now that I look back at it, not so much, I had to lol, it looks like a porno. Marlena was pretty jealous too after Gina became Hope again. I also remember Maggie being a nosey bitch and John putting her in her place a few times. I can't stop laughing whenever I see Drake doing love scenes. He has this real macho thing like he is God's gift to women going on. In this clip (at 2:10) it looks like Drake is gonna take a bite of Lauren's shoulder :laugh:

Back in the day when he was playing Roman and early John, gotta admit he fueled my teenage lust. I think it was after the John & Gina stuff when John and Marlena got back together is when I started to realize that it was kinda gross. He certainly does have a swallow-your-face style of kissing, that's for sure.

The bad thing that I can say is that sometimes they are a bit heavy handed while in cop mode which is my same complaint for Bo and Hope.

It was weird having Marlena and Tony share kids, I would have rathered it been Marlena and Stefano...LOL. Could you guys see Rex on the show now going up against EJ? I would prefer a different actor in the role though.

They are, but they were originally Tony and Marlena's kids. Higley re-wrote it so that they were Roman and Kate's after she took over writing the show.

It's so bad, but so good at the same time! I'm actually tempted to BUY (yes, as in pay money) the DVD's from late 98 to 2001. John and Hope are hot. Kristian Alfonso was really quite sexy in that story, too, LoL! Drake in love scenes, I have to agree...over the top... I wish they'd bring Gina back.... KA proved she could act in this s/l.

Was she with Bo around the same time or was it just another re-write? It was re-written that Bo and Hope had sex in Paris while they were both under Stefano's mind control so that Bo would be Zack's father. I hated that! To this day, I think the Hope WTD story with Stefano and John was the best WTD I've seen. SO much drama and story potential. They honestly just should have left it as is, especially with them killing Zach off a few year later. Ughhh. I was out for dinner with my cousin the other day, and she was like, "Remember that time Hope and John had sex on some space ship?" I laughed my ass off. I was like, "Um, you mean the submarine...?"

They then continue into some oddly cheesy, yet hot, dancing and make out session. Did they ever tell us who Greta's father was? That always annoyed me. I was sure it was John... but they never got to it. ETA: Drake really does act like he's gods gift to women, lmao. He really cheeses up the love scenes with the swallowing and heavy breathing.
