However, my biggest geekout was during the opening video leading into the ceremony with the tour of England when the camera pulled out for an arial view & it was the opening logo to EastEnders (complete with the drum beats that typically start the theme song) before zooming back in. Do you think the USA would do any sort of subtle soap opera shoutout during an Olympics Opening Ceremony?

Posts: 13,721 Group: Veteran Member #413 Joined: September 27, 2007	It wasn't a super exciting opening ceremony but nothing was goings to top Beijing so it was good they didn't try to top them and did their own thing. Enjoyed all the music during the technology part and during the parade of nations. Liked the idea of the flags wing place on the English countryside and how the flame was lit.
