Sami/EJ/Will working together is so much fun to watch. As someone posted a while back, what separates Sami and Will from the good guys like Rafe and Roman is that they're willing to do pretty much anything to help someone out (in this case, EJ), even if they're committing crimes or felonies. It's also the very reason I liked Sami to begin with.

So I guess the rest of the cast as well as Lexie's memorial fundraiser and Bradison's wedding really got the shaft here because a cliffhanger event like this should have easily been a two day event. A cliffhanger that they spent all this time and money on is being hurredly shoved into one episode on Friday and that episode will focued on salem blowing sky high. I wanted to see full cast interaction at a big gala event with beautiful gowns and tuxes like in the old days, but I guess they had no time for that because we have to watch all these out of character conversations and interactions instead.
I see a lot of small clues and glimmers of good writing being foreshadowed. It's like pices of gold shimmering through a steaming pile of crap, but they're there and hopefully that's the seeds that TomSell have planted for the big storylines they have in store for us!
I've been reading, not watching this week and I must say if I didn't know a cliff hanger was coming I certainly couldn't tell. The build up has been zero. No anticipation about who it may affect (Jack and Jen) and certainly no suspense. Shoving it all into 1 episode is supposed to make people anticipate the conclusion in 2 weeks? This should have been built into a week long event instead of small glimpses of danger involving characters not many people even care about. As I said, if I didn't know it was coming, this week's show would make me feel like - so what? I agree - we should have had at least 2 days of people all dressed up - dancing around, with shots of the impeding explosion interspersed so tension would build. Instead we have Mel and Gabi (blah) trapped, Roman arguing with Sami and Will over EJ (which is still a ridiculous SL - she can believe John is capable of stealing billions despite his character being the opposite but stands up for a man she once shot and who has been involved with rape and kidnapping? OK for Ejami fans he standing up for EJ but really, the sanctimonious speech to Roman about standing up for what is right when she was scathing about John and Marlena's situation is just disgusting - if I didn't already hate Sami, this would have made me start) and Victor giving Daniel and Nicole a hard time? No suspense at all. So disappointed. I can live with the pacing because I believe they salvaged what they could given their budget.I would rather they spend money on ED,JM,and GV but I totally agree with everthing else you posted. Two (2) thumbs up concerning Sami/Ej and Sami/John.The writer continue to make Sami look stupid. She has four chilren but is risking going to jail. What caring mother would do this?

So just a little clear up, please... is Will helping EJ only cause EJ is blackmailing him or does Will really like EJ and wants to help him? I couldn't get a clear conclusion from watching a few episodes lately. Thanks.
He is doing it because he wants to help EJ.
That's what I thought. Gross. Thanks though! :) Rupulsive and vomit inducing also apply but I hope you tune in when Will comes to his senses.I have lost hope concerning Sami.

He also told Sami about Will being gay, not knowing if she knew...which in theory would have blown it all out of the water i
That entire scene was about EJ HELPING Sami see the error of her selfish ways and go back to Will to listen and give him her support. But okay, it's all evil big bad EJ who told Sami that Will was gay and betrayed him. Major reaching just to blame things on the character. Lets blame him for other things too, may be he is responsible for Jack and Ian dying. He made Andrew kidnap Melanie too. Lets blame him for Carrie and Austin leaving town!
I don't give a shit what the rest of the scene was about...he blurted out, 'Oh did Will tell you he was gay' without knowing if that is what was bothering Sami....knowing that she had other things she was dealing with, it could have been anything....that isn't showing Ej caring for Will at all.....if he cared for Will he wouldn't have blackmailed him to begin with, he wouldn't have told his mother he was gay either. I'm not reaching...I'm stating what occurred and who gives a shit if Ej gets blamed...he's a freaking VILLAIN, he should be doubted at EVERY SINGLE turn, until it's proven that he in fact was not involved.....I see people here blaming Lucas for Sami getting attacked, I see Lucas being blamed for thinking that EJ is guilty when he's not...but Lucas just YESTERDAY found out that Sami had 'video proof' that Ej might be getting framed, so why can't I blame a VILLAIN for something VILLAINEOUS when we know only a PORTION of the story thus far.....GMAB
For starters those were not the words EJ used and he knew it was not anything to do with Sami because she kept saying over and over the issues Will was dealing with over the last couple of months. EJ pretty much clued into exactly what she was talking about given that he was the one spending the most time with Will. EJ did not start off caring about Will, hell he was returning the blackmail favor, but the relationship grew. :cheer: :cheer:Lucas does not give a damn whether EJ is guilty or not, his insecure jealous ass just wants the competition out of the way. He is threatened by EJ being in Sami's life; pretty damn pathetic really. I don't think its just jealousy.I think Lucas truly loves Sami and wants the best for her.Lucas does not want Sami to get hurt emotionally or physically and based on what EJ has actually done to Sami in the past,he honestly believe she will be hurt if she gets involved with EJ but he also knows she is her own worst enemy.I could accept Sami's behavior if she hadn't contacted Lucas when everything hit the fan and/or stopped Lucas from leaving when he wanted to return to Autumn in Hong Kong.

Yeah, I saw a scene with Lucas and Will where Will was being shitty to Lucas, while defending EJ. It was so wrong.
I call that so right. lol I hate Lucas. I'm glad Will finally stopped acting like him personally.
Will has been a real treat, my hope is that they can retai some semblance of who he is now in his future sl. OMG NO. I don't know why they have this new grinning fawning sycophant Will but they need to get rid of him ASAP!!!!Sorry Lysie.

I love Ejami and am liking their scenes, but does Will have nothing better to do than hang around E.J. or talk about E.J.? Like College? Friends? One of whom's girlfriend is missing. Or trying to get a boyfriend? Something other than just being in all Ejami or E.J. scenes. Sorry, people who love Will!
I can live with Sami running behind EJ they definitely need to move Wiill to another story line.Any story line not directly involving EJ.I used to like Wiil a lot but not so much lately. With his incessant grinning and hesitantly touching EJ,Will is starting to remind me a a puppy.I half expect to see his tongue out and hear him panting.
You're in luck. Chandler Massey indicated in his interview with Michael Fairman that Will's story was moving away from EJ and on to other things. Thank God.

The show should try to keep the Andrew character. He was the best thing on the show today. Yeah, I think he's excellent. Can't he have a sane twin?

Although I guess usually you need good twin / evil twin.

just speculation but could it be possible that sami and will are working for stefano? will smiling alot? sami because she works for him already as ceo at cw and thats was part of the deal? i don't know it seems like there is something we are not seeing on screen going on.
Will and Sami seem gung ho to get EJ in even more trouble with the law. Hadn't thought about his angle, but quite like it. Sami double crossing EJ, working for Steffy with Will, only to fall in love with him as she is doing it. That is way too good for TomSell, OTT and damn right soapy. Sami got her money from somewhere to bail EJ out, everything thinks it is CW, I'd love for it to have been Steffy.

You would think that Maggie had raised Daniel and Melanie from birth thebway the waterworks flow for people who are little more than strangers to her. Chandler has now adopted some weird gestures that are really distracting as his Joker smile. With the sound muted, he looks like a total idiot. I think if he wants to make it in Hollywood, he should study drama at UCLA.

I wish more people reacted to the explosion underground than Will, Roman and those underground. The Kiriakis mansion is supposedly located near the lake, where these tunnels stated out. Surely, the blast would've went through every tunnel in Salem, making those in the mansion feel a slight shudder. Right?

She did tell him not to "underestimate" her As long as Tptb give us a well-written story where Ejami acknowledge their love for each other and have some hot, graphic sex, I don't care how they get there!

Seriously, I just want some seducing, some teasing, some sexual tension and, eventually, a few graphic sex scenes for Ejami every year or two. Is that so much to ask?

Like Owen, Stephanie's kidnapper, was supposed to have? I enjoyed Owen. Wish the rumor of the twin was true. At least there was some mystery to a character with him.
