As Lucas said, "actions speak louder than words." And Sami's actions are screaming as loud as Lucichihuahua himself that she loves EJ and is willing to risk everything for him.

I love this storyline! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
I cannot wait for tomorrow when she actually goes in front of the gun for him to run  :cheer:

Gone, But Not Forgotten!

From today's epi to tomorrow's big Cliffhanger, I am not liking the show flow on this one. With all the hype, she show is going from 45 MPH to 100 MPH. Hoping TomSell is more focused on the aftermath, because the prelude is not that intense.

Sami's "I believe in you" line to EJ, is one Jennifer used with Jack way back when.

TomSell are dialogue stealers-- totaly not appropriate for Ejami here, any other choice words are okay, just not these.

Die hard fans would know the difference, newbies not so much. I feel insulted, sorry, I just can't sugar coat this.

i for one love that line. i think it is way overdue. but i know what you mean about J and J. the old good days. i personally loved jack pre-redemption when he was still struggling with his demons and finding himself with jen's support. good stuff!

Oh, they were my favorite! Everytime I hear "Wicked Game" I think of them! I was in 6th grade the year they got married and I taped the cover of SOD to my vanity mirror. I am now 34 and that Vanity is in the attic of my home, with that SOD cover still taped to the same spot! I actually met MA on a family trip to D.C. once. He and his kids were at the Smithsonian. Nicest man... :)

Oh my fucking god. How long has it been since this show was this fucking good? I absolutely want to marry this episode. Will and Sami working together to help EJ! Sami refusing to abandon EJ. EJ wanting to protect her but respecting her choice to help him. They are absolutely amazing! :cheer: :cheer:

Does there really have to be a break? How will I bear it?
Two whole weeks without EJAMI and EJILL is going to be HARD!

I'm going to need to self medicate to help with the withdrawal! :wine:

If this episode is contrived, I hope it stays contrived cause it sounds like a pretty good episode.

Much prefers sweevil, snarky EJ over Father Figure Fucktard Eejiot.

Just watched the EJami scenes...as great as they sounded in the write up it plays so much better! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

It's so exciting to see Sami adamantly and very openly defending and championing EJ to anyone who asks. And I'm really enjoying that she's pretty much been the brains behind trying to prove he's being framed. Their convo about EJ being so alone was touching...I thought AS did a great job with her reactions in that scene.

A big bonus for me is seeing Sami and Will working together and being on the same side for a change.

So excited to see what happens in tomorrow's day ahead. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

So I guess the rest of the cast as well as Lexie's memorial fundraiser and Bradison's wedding really got the shaft here because a cliffhanger event like this should have easily been a two day event. A cliffhanger that they spent all this time and money on is being hurredly shoved into one episode on Friday and that episode will focued on salem blowing sky high. I wanted to see full cast interaction at a big gala event with beautiful gowns and tuxes like in the old days, but I guess they had no time for that because we have to watch all these out of character conversations and interactions instead.

I see a lot of small clues and glimmers of good writing being foreshadowed. It's like pices of gold shimmering through a steaming pile of crap, but they're there and hopefully that's the seeds that TomSell have planted for the big storylines they have in store for us!

I've been reading, not watching this week and I must say if I didn't know a cliff hanger was coming I certainly couldn't tell. The build up has been zero. No anticipation about who it may affect (Jack and Jen) and certainly no suspense. Shoving it all into 1 episode is supposed to make people anticipate the conclusion in 2 weeks? This should have been built into a week long event instead of small glimpses of danger involving characters not many people even care about. As I said, if I didn't know it was coming, this week's show would make me feel like - so what?

I agree - we should have had at least 2 days of people all dressed up - dancing around, with shots of the impeding explosion interspersed so tension would build. Instead we have Mel and Gabi (blah) trapped, Roman arguing with Sami and Will over EJ (which is still a ridiculous SL - she can believe John is capable of stealing billions despite his character being the opposite but stands up for a man she once shot and who has been involved with rape and kidnapping? OK for Ejami fans he standing up for EJ but really, the sanctimonious speech to Roman about standing up for what is right when she was scathing about John and Marlena's situation is just disgusting - if I didn't already hate Sami, this would have made me start) and Victor giving Daniel and Nicole a hard time? No suspense at all. So disappointed.

Maybe the cliff hanger will be playing out for several days in Aug. when the show comes back.

Two things about Lucas: 1-I loved how Sami said to EJ "now you sound like Lucas" with disdain, and 2-Lucas was the only one who knew Sami was going to bail EJ out. That coupled with his statement that whoever is setting EJ up is doing them a favor is making my suspicious that Lucas is somehow involved with Ian. Which would make me respect him a bit more.

I was really pumped up to (try and) go back to DAYS with Jason's little cliffhanger thread. But after reading this, I don't think I will bother. I hate Sami, I hate EJ, I hate Sami & EJ together and now I hate Will for helping EJ, so yeah.. there goes my attempt #1232142 to go back to Salem, but it's always the same reason I bow out again. lol

Come on Ron, We are counting on YOU !!

Yeah, it is sort of strange how people are actually totally OOC....I don't buy this reformed Ej act....I can buy he's being framed but why does he need Sami, the fucking heroine and her son to help him out? Seriously....this is Ej we are talking about....but then again....I guess he can't do shit on his own....so it fits, lol.

I also question how anyone can say this is the real Sami Gene Brady....maybe it's because I always had a problem with Sami being selfless because well...it's so unlike Sami to be that way that it even struck me as odd that she would even attempt selfless acts in 2006/07.....you see Sami can be grey by taking advantage of Ej, getting closer to him to get whatever evidence he has on Will and then send him packing to prison for getting a bit too close to her again, and taking advantage of her son's vulnerability. That is something the 'real' Sami would have done.....Sami going out of her way to prove that the man that has blackmailed her son and caused her and her family so much pain is innocent is something that I can never see Sami doing.....the pre 2006 would have cared that Ej was blackmailing her son...and sure the kid wants to work with Ej and he has been warned and still went there but you know what, since WHEN has Sami cared what other people wanted.....it was always HER way or the highway, especially when it had something to do with her children.....who gives a crap if Lucas wanted to be a father to Will in the 90s....it was Sami's way....that is why I don't even know this Sami person anymore.....she looks like her but she certainly hasn't been acting like her for a few years now.

So just a little clear up, please... is Will helping EJ only cause EJ is blackmailing him or does Will really like EJ and wants to help him?
I couldn't get a clear conclusion from watching a few episodes lately. Thanks.

What reformed EJ?

Its literally been a day of him just being thrown for a loop, but beyond that there is no reformed, changed EJ! Ultimately EJ will be the one to save himself.

Will is saying he likes EJ because he treats him like an adult and lets hims makes his own decisions. He says he likes the power that EJ has and has in turn given him. There's been subtle digs at the attraction by the writing but it's referenced as admiration instead of attraction. Will is helping him because he wants to because he thinks hes his friend and is innocent.

In reality there's so much WTFery here and huge holes in story and history that you have to ignore and watch.
