This is the first week of Days I've watched since the Sami and EJ had grief sex last year. Jack's death was heartbreaking and it was action packed. They definitely deserved the bump in the ratings..Hoping they can ride it out until Kristen returns in October. |

TFP. This is astonishingly good news for Days, both that they managed to gain viewers after a two week furlough, and that NBC cared enough to issue a press release. :cheer: Edited by Cerulean, Aug 24 2012, 07:50 AM.

The sudden return to both Dannifer and Safe is Tomlin at his "I think I know best, but really I don't" worst. It's especially offensive since Jennifer's husband died two days ago. :puke: |

This week was also the first episodes I had watched in 4 months and I was very impressed with what was going on and the general chaos....HOWEVER....this week we are RIGHT BACK to the same old/same old...and I have once again tuned out. |

Days was bound to get a bump simply because of the two week break and how they ended the show on the Friday of the CH....realistically if days can only get a bump of .1 in each demo after having that cliffhanger and coming back with a lot of drama and a beloved characters death and all else that was going on, then I'm worried. Because they will likely lose all that and then some...not because it's sort of 'slowed down' but because the gain wasn't substantial to hold the dips that are sure to come. realistically Days should have aimed to gain even more than what they gained the last couple of weeks before the cliffhanger week...although any gain is good, I suspect that days in the next three weeks will have lost all it gained in the month of July and August.... |
