This is proof that Days can still get in the 2's..That's a great sign. Hopefully, Kristen's return in October bumps them back up. |

Sigh. Just what we need. Another "My couple was on thus ratings increased" crap. |

They have been getting a slow build the past four months and the ratings haven't been all that great. I think the ratings bump had more to do with the preemption and the fact that things were actually happening and SLs were actually moving for a change. |

It shows that action brings in ratings! Much better than the MarDar reset. |

I thought the event was lackluster but I can see viewers carrying over from the Olympics and being interested in watching an event like the explosion. And I've enjoyed more of the show this week than I have in a year. Im not a Rafe or Gabi fan but I've liked some of their stuff. And the show feels fresh to me again barring 1 or 2 things.. I'm sure it won't last so I'll enjoy it as I can. |

Can DAYS sustain this in the coming weeks? I have my doubts! |

I believe people watched because of the disaster and the new writing team! Wanting to see who lived and died! It had nothing to do with couples! It was for the show overall! The question is can they maintain this bump? If history is any clue I doubt it! |

They didn't even sustain through the week, so it doesn't look too promising, lol. |

2013 is off to a very promising start...

Although seeing a 1.9 on a Friday is pretty sweet....usually those days are pretty dismal. Love seeing the increase - and the press release from NBC. I have to think that is a positive - at least for now. |

The fact that Friday had the second highest number of viewers for the week is very promising if you ask me! This is typically a very low rated day for Days. |

This is true but they also lost more from Monday to Tuesday than they gained for the whole week. The positive is that days viewers continue to prove that they still exist and will tune in, but days has to do something to keep them and that's where they've failed over and over the last several years. They can pull off an event, but they can't pull off a show. |

I definitely can't disagree with that...and is it me, or did you get a make over? ;) |
