How about the fact that there was drama last week with the fact Stefano was revealed alive and didn't Nick show up last week also. And all the Will and Sonny and Gabi drama. Will slept with Gabi last week didn't he but of course that couldn't be a factor right?

As far as Abc, they have always had good promos but for me GH is a huge piece of trashy garbage. The production, directing, and Acting are awful, the stories are retconned history. Throwing a few vets on screen hasn't improved it. Faster pace doesn't make it better but worst of all, it doesn't feel like GH. In all the years of Days awfulness, I've never felt Days was not Days.

For anyone interested...

Total Viewers:
The View 2.1 million
The Chew 2.0 million
The Talk 1.9 million
Good Afternoon America 1.6 million

Women 18-49:
The View 390,000
The Chew 355,000
The Talk 316,000
Good Afternoon America 315,000
I absolutely love that these shows are being consistently outperformed by the 4 remaining soaps.

Music to my ears!
Not to rain on anyone's parade, but aside from GAA, most of these shows have been in off and on repeats for the summer. I know The View has. They normally draw in the 3 million plus viewer range and they drew their best numbers last election year, so I'm sure the same thing will happen this go around.
