I watched the pilot online and liked it. Ellen Barkin steals the show though. And since comparisons will be inevitable, I think quality-wise this will kick 'Partners', but as Partners airs on CBS and New Normal is on NBC, Partners will win the ratings war. |

I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I felt connected to the characters. I love it. I just worry because it's Ryan Murphy .... can it sustain several seasons? Ellen Barkin stole the show but it's a mad talented cast. |

Loved the show! Ellen Barkin was def the MVP of the episode. I have faith that Ali Adler (Chuck) will be able to keep the show fresh when Murphy burns out in the second season. |

I watched and putting it on DVR.. I thought it was hilarious! Its basically a modern day All in the Family.... It uses humor to expose bigotry and intolerance.. i hope it does well.. |

The NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City is partly owned by the Mormon Church. They also refused to air The Playboy Club last year. |
