No Sharon hasn't always been a gold digging ho. And I want proof of that quote from Doris before I believe it. That's not who Sharon was back then, sorry.
lmao! You don't seriously think I am going to waste my time scouring the net to prove something just because you demand it?
Doris, in the very beginning when Sharon was telling her about Nick, said, "don't go after that boy because of his money".
Someone else posted about that right on this board awhile back, so I'm not the only one, sorry if you missed that part but it happened.
Nikki spotted her as a goldigger, "back then".
You can believe whatever you want to believe, it won't change the script.
No you can say whatever you want, it doesn't change the fact that Doris never referred to or implied that Sharon was a gold digger. Nikki did, but not Doris. I don't buy it and many others don't buy it.

I would love for Jack to get the best of the ole Mustache I am so tired of him getting everything he wants he's as crooked as anyone and has his minions doing his dirty work with all the judges and police and other low life in his pockets I would love for Victor to end up on the junk pile
When I told my mother that Eric Braden has signed a new contract she said (and this is a 97 year old) "oh shit why do they keep him he thinks that show can't run without him I wish just once they would prove to him they could do without him"
he's not 97, he's 71, born in 1941.
Let's get rid of katherine, she's old too, born in 1928, she's older than EB.
The "97" year old is "Soap watchers" mother :cart: , "not E.B.".

Quoting limited to 4 levels deep
Running down people with a car, putting a dead fetus in a fireplace and stealing a baby is worse than this. So, no. Phyllis is a crazy calculating bitch. Sharon is Cinderella compared to that psycho.
If you say so. :drunk:
Thanks I will  :drunk:

I knew you would, but Doris did say it. lol

Victor's Explosive [Death] Rocks The Newmans on Young and Restless!

The Newmans: The socialite finally gets in contact with Mr. Mumbles, after Billy gives her Victor's number out in L.A.. Something about Nikki's voice is familiar to "Christian", however the call is cut short when an explosion occurs!

Nikki, who didn't realize why their call was interrupted, heads over to Newman Enterprises. Sharon is conducting a press conference, with Nick and Vicki in forced attendance. Nikki informs her children their daddy is on his way home. For the sake of the company, Vicki and Nick keep up with the plan to support their chagrined step-monster at the press conference.

At Restless Style, Nikki clues Abby in about her father having turned up. Nikki is confident her ex-husband will take care of Sharon himself, once he comes home. Billy arrives and squashes everyone's good cheer by announcing Victor's dead!

Don't worry. Just like a New York cockroach, Victor emerges from the explosion, this time with his memory in tact. It seems another man perished in the warehouse explosion. Victor decides its time he return home. Back in Genoa City, Nikki is beyond crushed about Victor's "death" and is brought to the ranch by Nick, to say her goodbyes. Nikki starts to reminisce about the first time she met Victor and the years they've shared. Kids, things go from bad to downright terrible for the Newman clan. "Victor's" body arrives in town before the real one can make it home to clear up the confusion.

Sharon is asked by the coroner to identify her hubby's body and realizes it isn't him. The slonkey feels Victor is send her a message: He'd rather take a dirt nap than to be stuck with her! A livid Sharon claims the body is Victors and has it cremated!

The Newmans are royally pissed after Sharon's latest stunt, since they won't be able to say farewell to Victor. Sharon then stuns all by saying she's going to marry Tucker pronto!

A grief-stricken Nikki goes to visit "Victor's" grave, and is stunned when the man himself arrives! What's going to happen with Sharon? Watch for Mrs. Newman to get a shock when her husband shows up at her wedding to Tucker.

This marrying Tucker so quickly is yet another brick being pulled from the foundation of Sharon's character. The cremation thing is bad enough but none of this makes sense. She knows he's alive so does she really think he'll let her get away with all of this crap?

Geezus!! Is Victor trying to compete with Stefano DiMera on who can come back from the "dead" the most times??? Sharon is royally screwed. I want a spoiler telling me that somebody is going to out Tucker. Maybe Victor will go easy on her, if she says that it was Tucker who tricked her.

Or PeeWee Herman.

It's funny how viewers can take on the personality of their faves.

Victor haters are Booing ~ Victor lovers are cheering
Sharon haters are cheering ~ Sharon lovers are booing
Victor is rising from the ashes like the Phoenix he is.
Sharon is pulling the lowest stunt she can because she is at the lowest she's been.
Does she honestly think that Victor is going to let all this stuff slide?
'oh that's ok my dawling, you are easy and foolish. I forgive you for letting my business and stocks bottom out so the bottom feeders can get fat at my expense.'
Wrongo Kemosabe!
Let the good times roll along with some heads!

Since Doris will be there we can hear her tell Sharon, 'I told you so!'
Again... Sharon marries the money.

Quick Recap. Friday CAN/Monday US via swisscheese1 @ soaps.com

Sister Bonnie Franklin isn't injured. So far, it's been a stream of injured guys brought into The DiveBar where Gen is helping treat them (ice, bandages etc). Billy, and then later Sister Bonnie, restrained Gen from leaving the bar. At this last commercial break, Sister Bonnie has just come in with a priest and is sadly shaking her head. (Remember, not a word is being said) but it's quite apparent Gen has just been told that Christian is no more and she's falling apart.

I have to say, despite how much we all hate MAB, this particular episode is really well written.

The viewer is drawn into the heavy emotion of the blast aftermath and given a comic break with some of the others, just prior to and during the press conference. Favorite line of the day so far, Abby, who's there as a reporter for UselessPile pipes up when Sharon asks if there are any questions. "Yeah I have a question for the OTHER Mrs. Newman, not the Mrs Newman of Five Minutes" (I'm sorry, I was so busy laughing I missed what they actually said).

Nikki tells Nick and Victoria about talking to Victor so they're all relieved etc to know he's alive. When Vikki hears that Billy told Nikki how to contact him, she leaves at least four messages for BIlly to call her, which he doesn't....and that's because he's been busy coming directly home to tell her in person that Victor's dead. He interrupts the press conference to make this announcement. Abby, Nikki, Victoria all start bawling. And Patch, er, I mean, Tucker, coaches Sharon to stake her claim right now.

So, Billy runs home and tells everyone Victor's dead. Victoria, Abby and Nikki are all busy bawling. Sharon's being the Poor Poor Widow.....

.... and Sister Bonnie Franklin brings Gen to a room where she lets her in to see "Christian" is alive. Her reasoning for the secrecy is that she doesn't know who are the good guys or the bad guys anymore, she just knows she has to keep Christian's survival secret and that he needs medical help. "You're a nurse, he needs medical attention" He looks up at her and blinks a bit and says "You're not a nurse. You're Genevieve!"

yay! he has his memory back
