I'm glad The Voice is doing well, but I didn't see anyone this past week that I instantly fell in love with. I hope week two brings out some great talent. Juliet was robbed last spring.

I feel that Xtina, Britney etc. killed grunge and forced alt music back into the fringes from mainstream in the late 90s and made top 40 music decline in quality and originality because everyone/everything became slick, overproduced, anodyne pop with an image to match. Ok, off my soapbox now...
