Thursday, Sept. 20th chad asks Melanie to leave Salem with him for good she says you want to leave salem? Kate says i assumed you knew its all over the internet you havent heard about the conditions of your overseas factories people are saying there is going to be an investigation into multiple label law violations sami says thats not true dont know what you heard kate says im just repeating what i heard sami says i know what is going on at countess w and if it was happening i would know about it kate says sometimes things slip through the cracks when you are expanding rapidly like you are you dont want that kind of attention when you are trying to raise your profile rafe comes over and says you are right you dont hope it doesnt come back to bite you in the butt too chad goes to coffee place brady says sonny is not there he says sonny sent the text for him chad says this is about what me and mel? brady says your rush to get married just trying to help you out chad says like how you helped when melanie was missing in the first place brady says i was the one who found her chad says but it was the wrong person has it ever crossed your mind if you werent down in the tunnels with melanie ,you would have been with madison and maybe she wouldnt be dead Maggie goes over to talk to Melanie she hopes she is doing this for the right reasons mel says says i am , i love chad maggie says and nick? This actually sounds good to me. We have Lucas, which is always a big plus. And Sami wanting to talk to Rafe about how they feel. That conversation is way over due. I think I will enjoy! |

I say when did it get so easy for you to lie to me? Chad - I'm not lying to you. I think it makes sense for us to get out of here, to plan ... Mel - You're trying so hard not to say his name right now. Chad - Whose name? Mel - Don't pretend that you don't know what I'm talking about. Chad - This isn't about him. Mel - This sounds like it's exactly about him. It sounds like your proposal is really to get us to run away from Nick. Chad - I just want to be with you. That's never changed and never will. Chad - I love Melanie and I want to be with her, to marry her. Brady - I understand that. I'm not saying don't marry me all I'm saying is maybe take a step back and let everyone get adjusted to the way things are right now. Chad - What if I don't see the point in waiting? Brady - The point is getting married is supposed to be the happiest time in your life and this is clearly not that. Just take it easy. Take a couple of months, whatever it takes. Step back, reevaluate or this thing might fall apart. Is that what you want? Chad's place - Part 4: Maggie - I'm sorry you feel I don't approve of what you're doing. Mel - Because you don't. Maggie - I'm just concerned. Mel - That's what you keep saying. I don't understand why Adrienne's the only one happy for me. Maggie - Adrienne? Mel - Yeah. See when I told her she had the kind of reaction I was hoping you would have. She was happy for me and she hugged me and said she was excited and she couldn't wait to see me and Chad walk down the aisle. Maggie - Honey, I repeat, I still don't understand what the rush is in doing this? Mel snaps - Why does it matter? I want to get married. Why isn't that enough? Why does it matter if it's 2 weeks or 2 years. Maggie - Oh Melanie. Mel - No. I don't want to do this. I have a fitting for my wedding dress that I'm going to wear when I walk down the aisle with the man I'm going to spend the rest of my life with and I don't want to focus on you and everybody else thinking that I'm making a big mistake. Maggie - You're right. You shouldn't have to think about that. You do know that I love you with all my heart and if your really think this is the right thing for you and the right time and if this is what you really want then no more questions, no more ambilvance. Ok I'm looking forward to the Lumi banter. I've missed this, lol. Lucas better not ever change his mind about how he feels or he will look like an idiot. Seriously does he just want to hear himself talk and is that why he repeated over and over again that he's not interested anymore? Cause it's not like we haven't heard the same speech about 5 million times before. I really, really hope for his sake he means it, lol.

I love snarky, playful, frenemies Lumi...give me that any time over the shit they are trying to sell with Ejami and Safe. At least it's in character for both Lucas and Sami...no need to change either character for that....give me that any day of the week on Days..consistent in character writing and I'll be happy. I can't believe that Chad even went there with Brady. I'm so glad Brady put him in his place. I'm so tired of Chad and his whining and his OTT behaviour. I wish he was leaving wtih Melanie although I'm happy she dumps his sorry behind ... sigh unfortunately we all know Chad will blame Gabi and Nick for that instead of putting the blame where it lies - squarely on his shoulders.
