i think FS have great screen presence and and he deliver his lines just fine

the problem with pairing for me its writing for will since late may to aug

they so busy write for ej and will they backburn sonny like he have no life if does not share scenes with will
and the writing for will for was really bad like he wanted to shoot stefano because he got him fired for working for ej and ect....
instead to fix that mess they jump back to wilson

I adore Sonny so far. He's just very likable to me. I've been enjoying his interactions in the coffee shop with a little bit of everyone, especially people his own age. WilSon right now are a big part of why I still trudge through the show each day. But I can agree that for too long Sonny had no life while Will was inserted in places he shouldn't have been.

I'm happy for the WilSon fans.

I still don't see the chemistry between the two. My issues is with Chandler/Will- The character is mixed up and still not good enough for Sonny. and I just find Chandler boring as an actor. Smith still has better chemistry between the actor that plays Brian.

Oh well... just my honest opinion

Again, I'm happy for the WilSon fans.

I loved Will's involvement with EJ, But even if I didn't, I'd still have the same issue with this pairing. My dislike has everything to do with the chemistry - or the degree lack thereof - and FS' rather boring, bland, vanilla screen aura. Now granted, CM is no hot bed of spicey presence himself. In fact, I also find him to be rather vanilla, but at least IMO he's the better performer, and I don't find myself annoyed when he's delivering his lines (this includes his acting ticks). Speaking of vanilla, that's another problem I have with the actors as an on screen pairing: vanilla + vanilla = Ambien.

I don't want to alarm anyone, but it looks like we might be getting an honest to goodness romance here. That was sweet, awkward, and charming... and with appropriate music, not a porn-sax in sight. Ironic that tptb's trepidation over this gay relationship is making them actually do something right.

Ironic is certainly a good term to describe the results of this story given how Days has treated it. Then again, the old adage about the visually impaired tree rodent and the acorn also comes to mind.

I was surprised how quiet and tender this scene was since Days seldom does quiet or tender, let alone together and it did them well. I can see why the show released this clip.

It's very sweet, and I'm guessing Wilson are going to get very happy very soon only to be put on a trajectory crashing into the Gabi/Nick plotline. This is a good thing in my opinion, because angst=storyline on a soap. Gabi getting knocked up (and I'm 100% sure that was the reason for Will's romp with her) wouldn't have been my first choice, but it should still provide some story.

And I agree that Days doesn't do low key or intimate very often.

Eh. I don't know, guys. I agree with badaddiction here. I just don't feel the chemistry is as great as I thought it would be. Don't pelt me with tomatoes, please!! :peek:

While I'm still having trouble seeing any chemistry between Massey and Smith, I am so proud of DAYS for finally going there.
I guess we will need to agree to disagree there, cause I saw mega chemistry
Same here. That was amazing romantic chemistry I saw. But I get that chemistry is subjective. I love how at first Sonny leaned in but then it became mutual between them. That was such a perfect first real kiss. It was slow and sensual. I do hope it gets more intense as they can't stop as the romance builds. I really believe after the CB and BB interview along with TV Guide saying to check back Nov sweeps that WilSon will get a love scene for sweeps. Really that isn't that far off...could be just over a month away depending when in Nov  .

It is subjective. People see different things. I know some think Brian/Sonny have more chemistry, and while I do think Brian is very cute...I really don't like him that much. He seems too smarmy to me. His intentions don't seem admirable. :D Sonny is more of a sweetie and I think he just fits better with Will. But then that is how I see things. I think they have lots of chemistry and I am LOVING this. I am not looking forward to the angst of whatever Gabi storyline we will undoubtedly get, but at least they will get screen time, so I guess I will suffer through. I just hope we get some nice, sweet moments before the shit hits the fan. And I'm hoping we don't get a love scene too soon, because once the Gabi crapola does come out....if WilSon have not hit the sheets yet...then I know eventually they probably will...and they'll get through this.

Although I am curious, Chandler/Will always seems to get giggly when he's near a guy Will is attracted to. He did with Neil, he did it a few times with EJ and he's giggly right before the kiss. I'm guessing this is a choice on Chandler's part - since Will never got giggly that I can remember around Gabi or Mia. Maybe he's nervous playing actual attraction to a guy, but I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing that Will seems smiley and happy. That's how people get when they know they are about to be kissed by their crush.

I'm starting to think that they will play off the plot point writing that had Will turn into an asshole virtually overnight into this story more....because frankly, let's face it what is the great romantic story over two good guys falling in love? Seriously, very little drama, they come from core families with issues but both kids turned out to be very good kids? Yeah...no soapy stuff there....so in comes Will who reacts to a situation he was affected by badly and then turns into this self loathing individual with more issues bothering him than just the fact he's gay. He finally embraces his gayness and is ready to start a relationship but he holds a secret and the secret in itself wouldn't be as bad if it didn't bring major consequences attached to it which I think we'll find out in 5..4..3...2...1....

I think we will get Wilson sex in Nov. for two reasons.
Number one it is sweeps month.
Nunber two it is Will's birthday and what a perfect gift Sonny to give to Will.

Okay, I don't know how many times I have watched that kiss now...but it makes me swoon every time. I get the look you are talking about, but I don't really see much of that in this kiss. He does kind of smile I guess, but I don't see really anything like "giggly". I do LOVE the look he gets on his face once the kiss starts. That little furrowing of his eyebrows...so intense.

To me it was a very mature smile and went away quickly. It's making me swoon more and more each time I watch it. I love how Will put his hand around Sonny's head as he got further into the kiss. Also love how this is a kiss in public and Will doesn't even hesitate this time  .

I hope this continues into Monday? Michael Fairman posted about the clip TV Guide posted as the beginning of their make out session but is he just talking and doesn't really know? As much as I love it, it will be disappointing if it's not longer or we don't see any reaction from them after the kiss or after it gets heavier between them.

The beginning....oh I can only hope. I don't think there are any spoilers for Will/Sonny much next week (which is very disappointing) but I would love for it continue into Monday. I kind of doubt it though. They way it cut off in the clip..maybe there is just more to it that we don't see in that actual scene? I'm reading tidbits here and there about the whole show tomorrow and I can't wait! Sounds like some good WilSon stuff throughout...not just that clip.

It's becoming evident to me that shows like Glee show give gay Kurt/Blaine a lot of airtime together lot but never show them being romantic. Same with that one couple that was on Brothers & Sisters and even Modern Family with their couple. Then there is a couple like Will and Sonny who are getting a romance yet they get very little airtime together. I just wish gay couples could get what other couples get and that is plenty of airtime along with a romance. Such a double standard and that is one frustrating thing. I am trying to give the show the benefit of the doubt but if we only see Will and Sonny once a week, it's not enough to stay invested long term. So while I love what happens tomorrow in this respect Will and Sonny aren't being treated equal. And why I suspect we aren't getting a lot of Sonny airtime on his own. Kind of disappointing in the realm of all of this awesomeness.

I really do hope they get more airtime and romance. You're right, there is a double-standard, and it sucks. Nothing on this show is really holding my interest except for this storyline and if they start putting them on the backburner I'm not going to be watching as much. I know the whole Gabi thing will rear it's ugly head...but I hope we get some nice stuff before that happens. They really need to show them falling in love and getting a lot closer before all that happens, and not just once a week, like you said. I want a real romance, and now that they are getting together...I hope it isn't in the realm of just insta-love like so many others. I still want kind of a slow build. This relationship is still new...and it's different from what most soap stories are...I hope they really build it up. I still think there is a lot they can do with WilSon to kind of stretch it out some....while showing them happy for a while. Not sure that's what we get, but that's what I would hope for.
