Katie’s life hangs in the balance as she goes into premature labor. Her heart condition complicates the delivery. Her health begins to rapidly decline. Bill is trying to keep her calm and relaxed. He wants to keep her heart rate down. However, Bill’s worst nightmare is seemly coming to pass, that he could lose her. Despite Bill’s questionable antics, he loves his wife and family. The doctor informs Bill all that is left to do is pray. Bill is agnostic but he finds himself walking over to the chapel. Don Diamont previews that Bill doesn’t necessary pray, he talks to God like he’s talking to another corporate in the boardroom. In these moments, he reveals some things about himself and his inner life that he would never say to anyone, not even Katie. “It’s good stuff,” notes the actor.
