Oh he'll suffer his consequence when Sami likely breaks up with him for his lying to her. She will cry, screech and be all boo hoo. Then we'll have to live through 6 months of simulatenous flashbacks of Safe kissing and boinking while she cries and clutches a blanket and he stares out the window wondering what might have been.
Well, thank you so much. I think I broke out in hives when I read your post, because I can see it playing out exactly like that! LOL Even better, she'll probably be back with Lucas and/or EJ, but crying for Rafe.
at this point i'd rather EJ/Lucas hook up than either get back with sami lol Sorry team EJady.

I agree, except for the blanket. Clearly she will be clutching the penguin and their epic rope of love.
With winter turning to summer and a shooting star of hope in the heavens to symbolize their epic bond.
Don't forget the singing NIGHTingales! and Granny Chompers thanking the Goddess for their blessings!

Nah, we won't have to suffer for months because she will be onto her next great 6 week cycle great love by then.
if Eric wasn't her twin brother she'd be moving onto him.....seriously no joke.... I'm advocating for Sami's tube tying. I'm raising money for the cause.....we can't have her boink gorgeous Eric and have her be pregnant, what would they do :drunk: It's so Flowers in the Attic!

Honestly, making a story line out of who is a 'good parent' or not was a terrible idea for a soap opera.

Tomlin and Meng have raging hardons for Galen Gering...that is the ONLY reason Rafe is considered a male lead and was not fired AGES ago.
He is one of their "pets", just like AS, SC and MR are as well.

I don't think EJ is a good father. He stood by and let an ex-convict live under the same roof with his kids, he kidnapped Sydney and gave her over to Anna who she had never met before, he let Johnny think his mother didn't love him, he kicked Sami out of their lives and I'm sure if I took a few minutes I could think of more unfatherly things he had done. I don't know why people always want to say he's a good father because we've seen him read a bed time story to them a few times and kiss and hug them.
Nitpick: Anna and Sydney lived together in the mansion and Anna was quite fond of her. That fact helped Nicole figure out who took Sydney. Also, lol at the idea that kids in Salem shouldn't be around convicts. They'd have to raise themselves.
Nothing you pointed out changes the fact he's not a good father.
Good thing I wasn't debating about whether or not he was a good father, then. Then why were adding your two cents at all because that was my point? You could have saved yourself the trouble.

He is one of their "pets", just like AS, SC and MR are as well. :drunk: I think GG goes in every morning under Tomlin's desk for the amount of favortism shown him. Rafe can do no wrong and every character on canvas beside EJ and Stefano has had at one point or another had to sing his praises of being a "cough" good guy. Zero Hero is more like it and it's absolutely disgusting to listen to, surprised the other actors don't barf on the words.
Tomlin brought his pet from Passion's and made a role for him to be with Sami (AS). SAFE is his agenda and that will be the End of Day's - PUN-INTENDED
Corday and Tomlin need to realize that most of the audience is NOT drinking their kool-aide :drunk:

He is one of their "pets", just like AS, SC and MR are as well. I think it is more that they recognize what a talented actor Galen Gering is, and what an interesting character Rafe is. I couldn't be happier to have him on the show. :D

Quoting limited to 4 levels deeponeGOOD GUY!
EJ and Stefano and Sami and Nicole are SUPPOSED
The difference between Steve and Kayla going to extremes to keep Benjy from Stefano and what Daniel/Rafe have done with EJ's child is that there is no reason to believe EJ is a threat to this child. EJ has other young children with whom he's actively involved. He's been shown to be a loving parent as consistently as any other parent on the show. So it kills the theory of the 'good guys' being able to do this without being 'bad guys' - because there is no true risk for the child. (Other than EJ fighting for custody against Nicole - and it's anyone's guess which of those two would be the better choice as custodial parent). In other words, I agree with the first part of your last sentence.
I think we have thirty years worth of reasons that EJ and his family are threats to their own spawn.
You sound like one of the Bradys - judging him based on his fatha's past actions. EJ has been no saint - but he's not been a threat to his childrun. Even when he sydnapped Sydney, he made sure she was well cared for. To clarify, though - I see you as more of a Marlena than a Sami. And if you compare me to Stefano three will be he'll to pay. :toetap: Okay. I have six years worth of evidence that EJ himself would be a threat. I only mention the other 24 years because EJ doesn't seem interested in protecting the children from Stefano which is its own threat.

I have a question about Gary Tomlin. Was he ever a writer on Days before? I know the Safe stuff is just like before MarDar came on, but wasn't that Dena Higley writing? I thought Tomlin was a Co-EP? I keep seeing people saying how Tomlin is writing the show exactly as he did before, but when exactly was he writing it?

Dena Higley was the headwriter in 2008-2011 while Tomlin was EP. The comments you refer to are from people who speculate/assume that Tomlin had a direct hand in the writing at the time. As EP he undoubtedly had influence, but how much is directly attributable to him is a matter of opinion, I guess.

This is a quote from DrewHamilton from the MarDar fired thread that tackles the question of what was Higley and what was Tomlin.
- Quote:
-
Tomlin and Whitesell were responsible for pretty much everything from late-fall-2008 until about spring-2010 (Sami and Nicole's baby switch, Melanie/Nathan/Stephanie/Philip, Lucas/Chloe/Daniel/Kate, etc). Then Higley wrote most of the summer of 2010, including the Nighttime Hope storyline, Alice's funeral, SAMI AND EJ ROUND 560934. By the fall, the reigns were placed back into Whitesell's hands (Arianna's death, Sami shooting EJ, Nicole being pathetic and returning to EJ to be with Sydney). By the late-winter/early-spring-2011, Higley was back in charge and she gave us Taylor/EJ/Nicole, Vivian/Quinn, Chloe's hooker storyline, and every other disaster that took us right up until the reset when MarDar arrived.
