Gone, But Not Forgotten!

^Hey now, Alice would not be please with this type of talk. Jennifer is not the only bad Horton in the family. Bill was a screw up in his own right, and was never disowned. Jennifer can stay, Dan has got to go!!! I hope Dan's ornament is missing from from the x-mas boxes, Jack's doing of course. |

I get what you're saying. It's just incredibly sad that this is the way one of the greatest love stories in soap opera history ends - with fans believing that at the end they were "forced" together. I know the previous JnJ runs didn't live up to the first run but that could be put down to inferior writing in soaps in general. At least we knew JnJ were still soulmates. Killing Jack in that damned elevator was bad enough but at least if they had Jen play the grieving widow for at least a little while it would have been a nod to their history. But instead we're given this crap and I think it's pretty clear we're going to get both Dan and Jen saying that only their pity for Jack kept them away from each other - which isn't what happened but it will be accepted as canon. Now more than ever I want MA back to redeem some dignity for his character but reading this recap it really sounds like TomSell are making it clear that he was nothing more then a Dannifer angst prop and Jack has been totally discarded. |

I can see James Scott being done with this show when his contract is up and they kill his character off and that's why they're writting him so crazy as far as Sami is concerned. She might have to kill him to defend herself or Rafe does. But on the other hand, this show seems to think so little of James Scott and EJ, I can see them recasting and not giving it another thought. |

I have a hard time to care about Ejami this week, knowing the spoilers are out, promoting SAFE. EJ is playing Sami as a fool and she doesn't even see it. EJ never has pure intentions, his motives here are clearly to make sure Rafe is not the winner.

Days needs to bring Diana Colville (Genie Francis) back ASAP. Have her find Jack and they can come back to run the Specator. Let Jennifer and Dan have their fake love shit. I don't care anymore. Jack and Diana had great chemistry working together before the cub reporter came along. Anyway just a thought since Genie is out on Y and R. |

Yes it does seem to be all about winning over Rafe then any real love for Sami. I think TomSell writes EJ as someone who has no idea what love is or how to actually love someone. Look at the advice he gives to Chad. |

I didn't think it was possible to hate Jennifer more but she continues to surprise me. And not in a good way. I just read the recaps, cannot a watch because the sight of her and the dirty Doc is just vomit worthy. Even my 73 year old mother in law noticed he "always looks dirty or something". Yea, or something. LOL Maybe this plays out better than it sounds but it sure seems like they are disrespecting a dead guy who was one of the best, most complex characters on this sinking show. It certainly gives credit to the theory that these writers are so ridiculously jealous that they can't hold a candle to the writers of old. They pimp their one dimensional cardboard cut outs and throw out the vets who made the show back in the day. PATHETIC. |

I actually like Daniel and Jennifer together, but I would like Daniel being with Carly more. Still, I respect JnJ fans and despise the way that Dannifer are being shown everyday whining about Nicole and EJ, when they HAVEN'T HAD (prior to Jack dying) F*CKING SCENES IN OVER HALF A YEAR!!!!!!!!!! Jennifer needs time to mourn. Dicole was a refresher but now this storyline is stale. And speaking of stale, I'm sick of EJ always saying he's "in love" with Sami when the only reason he is trying to be with her is so that he doesn't lose to Rafe! I mean, you know Days is bad when the only thing to be excited about (when WilSon aren't on) is a Gabi storyline featuring Nick! LOL |

I'm a Jack fan through and through. I am more or less indifferent to her unless she is putting him down or making him seem like an obligation. Which is just about all she has done this entire year. So now she just needs to take a break. Maybe her and Dr. Dirty could go off into the sunset together. Off screen of course! |

This show is a hot mess. I can't even enjoy the ejami scenes. Sami is a hot fickle mess and I don't like that as a Sami fan. Smdh at this show. |

Is it just lazy writting that they have EJ and Nicole mirroring one another in their actions? Rafe tells EJ he's broken things off with Sami, he makes some little remark to himself about Sami needing comforting and gleefully heads over to her place. Gabi tells Nicole that Melanie has left town, Nicole makes some little remark to herself about Daniel needing comforting and she gleefully heads over to his place. Why are they writting Nicole and EJ exactly the same way? |

the only thing worth watching in this is the part where Nicole calls Jennifer a bitch. The rest is one big bore fest. |

He also said he can't stand to see Sami cry. Did we not watch him torture Sami for weeks/months. Watching her cry over and over because of missing Sydney, when he had her all the time. And when she wasn't miserable enough, he made her believe Sydney was dead, and held her while she wept. And we are suppose to seriously believe now that he can't stand to see her cry. Seriously, we can't take any of these characters seriously. Dannifer is not believable, EJami is definatley not believable, and Safe is not believeable mainly because of Sami and also because Rafe did not seem to care one bit about Sami while Carrie was around. |

Much prefers sweevil, snarky EJ over Father Figure Fucktard Eejiot.

Because in Tomlin's world EJ and Nicole are the perennial tools used for stirring shit up for their 'chosen' pairings. They did it with Nicole and Brady/Arianna and then again when they were so determined that EJ/Taylor would be the next great love story. And they've done it with EJ versus Safe for...ever. In Tomlin's small mind the 'bad' guys are cartoonish and can never win and the 'good' guys are untouchable. Even when they give them angst it's short lived and half hearted. |

Sadly, I can see Sami being mad when EJ is revealed to be the dad. She'll probably go comfort EJ, or run to Lucas and hint that she still wants him. At this point, I want Carrie to just come back for Rafe. He seems to be good enough at raising other people's kids, so why not raise her and Austin's baby? |

I don't agree. The bad guys may not "win", but they're certainly not losing either. No one is winning or losing, because for someone to win or lose, there'd have to be something to win or lose. |
