I can see myself tomorrow laughing my ass off while Ej cries. Don't know what it is with James when he 'acts like he's crying' but he's AWFUL.....it really makes me laugh...no joke....I'm sure tomorrow will be no different.

That being said the talk with the little boy sounds nice but Ej isn't a good parent, never has been, I don't even think he tries...he SAYS he tries...but he doesn't actually do much of it...Ej just shouldn't have kids period....then again neither should half of Salem, they are such awful parents.

I don't like the fact that Ej just took advantage of Nicole's vulnerable state and immediately recorded her conversation....but Ej is once again not that sharp.....did he not realize that while he's recording Nicole's confession he also is threatening Jen in the process.....
I'm thinking that's probably not going to be the section of tape he plays to Samanther.

I don't have a problem with Ej recording Nicole's confession. She'd have no problem doing the same thing to him if the shoe was on the other foot. Also their last bonding scene consisted of her searching for evidence to send him to jail right after his father and sister died. They really are so much alike it's insane that they aren't together scheming against the boring do gooders of Salem.

I saw the day ahead video, James is one exceptional actor, he can say more with his face than his dialogue! :hail:
Yes, so true! James is an outstanding actor and he could easily move on to bigger challenges if he wanted to! :)
I wish he would.... this show just keeps kicking this character in the guts.

I get that it may be a shitty thing to do for Ej to tape Nicole to screw over Rafe. But when you think about it she is allowing him and others to think Jenn killed the baby so that she can hold onto Dan. They are both acting stupid. But I can see why Ej would want to take his anger out on Rafe, who was pretending to be the father of his child.

Aw. Sad to see how much EJ wanted his little boy. :(

I'm glad he records the conversation with Nicole to get his proof and busts Rafe. He deserves whatever EJ dishes out to him.

You make a great point in the fact that when Rafe found out about "cough, choke, cough" gieif sex he had no problem running to EJ at the mansion and going for the juggular, so EJ doing this to Rafe is by all means tit for tat. Rafe technically took Nicole and the baby away from EJ by the events from that night, so taking Sami in the same way is very understable. Sorry I've just never understood how all four of these characters have acted through the whole pregnancy.

Only thing I do have a problem with is that Nicole was a victim of SAFE and EJ and the greif sexcapade as well as the repercussion's. If EJ hadn't lied she wouldn't have left and if Rafe hadn't done what he did again she wouldn't have left. SO she's going to get the fallout when in all aspects as usual Sami's crap ruined what should ahve been a nice pregancy with a man she loved.

Do I agree with what EJ's doing yes BUT the blowing Rafe out the water could have waited as he greived more with Nicole over the loss of yet another of their babies. He supposedly truly loved Nicole as was written by I don't care what set of writers and was ready to raise the child as his own, so his total loss of empathy for her to me is badly written. As for the Jenn mess I hate them making Nicole again the villan so Dannifer has angst and Safe has angst, they killed her baby yet again for no true reason :badmood:

I do think Day's is stupid though obviously Nicole and EJ are two of a kind.

Does he suppose to sympathetic to Nicole? She lied through the whole pregnancy

I'll say that she gets what she deserved ( not that she lost the baby) but the confession.

Fail to see how Nicole is somehow the victim.

I would think that if he cared at all about the kid he would take a minute more to grieve it in lieu of immediately trying to get the confession from Nicole...in other words....grieving the kid should be his priority as a parent but for some reason it's not....and it's not like he hasn't suspected this kid was his before, he's pretty much known this to be true but instead of proving it and doing something about it well before now, he was busy chasing a skirt that didn't want him....

I guess what I'm saying....that in his mind although he's clearly shaken over the loss of the baby, his ONLY priority at this stage is to fuck over Rafe...reveal the lie and destroy Safe. In the end Rafe's lie won't end Safe wanting to be together and if history is an indicator, Sami forgives all to easily nowadays...

Wow the conversation between Will and Sonny kind of surprises me. At least they did something right and moved the dialogue that was happening inappropriately between Will and EJ and inserted it to WilSon. But come on DOOL with that kind of talk and neither one of them wanting to rip each others clothes off???

Hard to tell what Nick's deal is. Was he raped in prison or does he simply have issues with gay people? Or is it more an issue where he thinks Will used Gabi and is going to become too protective of her or something and she finds out that she is pregnant and he convinces her to let him pretend he's the father? Seems they may be setting up WilSon vs. Nabi in some kind of story.

TFP the recap

I like the writing for EJ in this episode. Even though he never had any opportunity to be a part of this baby's life it's good to see how much he still cared and wanted him. The scenes with the little boy sound very touching. And taping the conversation with Nicole? Good for him. :)

Thanks for posting, ladies!
The eye of the beholder. To me EJ=bucket of slime.

Even if jealousy and anger were the basis for her lying to EJ about the parentage of the baby and to Daniel to keep someone in her life to love,I still see her as a victim given that her baby died and it is likely she will never have another biological child of her own.How can Nicole's confession be used against her now that the baby is dead?It can only be used against Daniel and Rafe.Daniel and Rafe may "get what they deserve" for trying to help a desperate pregnant woman but I see no consequences for Nicole other than EJ being able to say she is liar which would be no big news to most of Salem.

Both Ej and Nicole are getting the shitty end of the SL. Days is so focused on using them both as angst for other pairings that they forget to write for them as characters. The baby's death should be about THEM. Instead it's all about how it affects Dannifer and Safe's relationships. :flipoff:

Exactly both of Ejole's babies have died for angst for SAFE and now Dannifer. Sorry but they have two great actors they insist on sidelining for the sake of two horrible hypocritcal couples.

Fair enough but Nicole does not get off the hook, she should have had the decency and tell him that he had a kid.

The only reason whys he was keeping it in the dark was because of Ej slept with Sami, I don't buy that she was 'protecting it.' when she herself said that she wanted the child to be a dimera.

Granted that Ej knew the child was his, it does make Nicole look like the victim because she is not.

She lied through the whole pregnancy because of jealousy.

Just like the last time they did this story, the only real victim is the child. All parties involved acted badly and I felt sorry for no one. That is why I ended up tuning out for about half of the babyswitch and almost all of this round.

The only baby that should have died on this show was the one AS had written in to acommendate her pregnancy. That baby shouldn't have lived because it was forced by AS to be written into the show. Nicole's baby was killed off and Grace was killed off, but not Sami's kid. Sami's baby dying could have been her pusnishment for lying to EJ.....you know, suffer the same punishment as Nicole.

I just realized there's no Dannifer in this episode! :cheer: That alone, makes it more tolerable!

And Days needs to work on the dialogue for date scenes- Safe- sandwiches, bad service at Common Grounds; NABI- the stars; WilSon- rock climbing. Really? I'm okay with some cutesy moments, but I've seen more exciting dates on kid and teen shows, like on the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon!

Not picking a fight or anything.I just want to know who you (and other posters) see as the victim and why.I know no one has to justify their view ,I am just trying to see someone else's point of view.
