WTF? Anyone find it weird that John kept calling Kristen a bitch to that little girl and all three of them were just smiling and giggling about it? |

LOL, I had to rewind because I thought he said "mean old bitch" too. I was thinking "Way harsh, Mr. Black. She's just helping the child!" This is my first time watching in about a month and it's not terrible. I hate seeing Bo leave and the writers rewrite history because I don't think Brady and Kristen would have been able to have a conversation 14 years ago, but I didn't hate the show. Color me surprised, Gabi and Nick are cute. I actually like them. I like something that Gabi is a part of. Blake Berris is obviously a saint. Edited by Spencer Hastings, Oct 26 2012, 02:00 PM.

Mishearing John say "Did this mean old bitch jump out and scare you?" will forever never NOT be funny. I nearly choked to death until I realized what he'd actually said. |

His voice is so grating. It's hard to hear anything he says. John's acting has become so bad. |

CM and FS did an excellent job today they had me smiling during all their scenes. FS is a much better make out person he is very natural and they way he moves it looks like he is into it. Today CM brought it I loved when he wrapped his arms around Sonny that was ohh. It seems they have become more comfortable in there kissing and romantic scenes than before. Will looked like he was ready from the first moment they showed he and Sonny together today and when he walked in and looked at the bed he looked ready. But I loved how Sonny stopped and asked Will if he was sure that was so good, loved it. Today they both seemed ready and it was natural their playfulness, kissing and being romantic I liked their scenes today. |

Did I really just see an episode featuring Sami but she didn't share a single scene with any of the men in her harem? Are my eyes deceiving me? Speaking of Sami, her scenes with Caroline and Bo were very good, just like all of the other recent scenes in the Alzheimer's story. Sami definitely needed to say good-bye and thank you to the woman who is raising her three youngest children. I continue to be amazed at how much Nick makes Gabi tolerable, if not watchable. I'm even looking forward to more Nick and Gabi scenes and I never would have predicted that. If it weren't for all the kissing and manhandling he does with Will, I might not believe Sonny is gay after seeing those sheets on his bed. The guy does not have an eye for home decor. It's almost insulting. Even stranger than his choice of sheets, is the fact that he has a tea kettle on his stove. Maybe it's me but I have never known a guy his age who owned a tea kettle. Still, it is easy to see why Will is crazy about him. He is pretty much the perfect boyfriend. |

Although I prefer Kristen as a bad girl, I liked seeing her softer side with the little girl who fell off her bike today. It was a nice reminder that she's not entirely evil. She was actually a decent person until, after wasting two years building a relationship with John, she found out he had secretly been lusting after Marlena the entire time -- even while she was pregnant. Who wouldn't fly off the rails a bit in that scenario? Spoiler: click to toggle

I think Kristen'll set up several scenarios to come, I really do. |

I thought Kristen & the little girl was meant to harken back to her origins as a social worker (reminding John of the woman she used to be in the process). Also, I have to say that Kristen's passive-agressive behavior all over Salem has been an absolute JOY to watch. Watching Kristen snark all over Sami has been the highlight of my week. |

IDK what the plan for Kristen/Marlena is, but I think they're setting up a perfect gaslighting story. I didn't expect Marlena to mention the phone again, and the way the bike story was set up right after Marlena said everything Kristen does is deliberate makes it seem like they're trying to show that Marlena is right. I think they're either going to have Marlena be right and Kristen completely gaslight her or they're going to have her wrong and OTT, though justified by history. I'd prefer the first scenario because I think that's just a better story. My guess is that it will be a poorly written version of the 2nd scenario, though. Marlena dialed John's number on her iPhone. She dialed. |

I agree, it'll probably be poorly written. But anything that involves Marlena and Kristen will make me happy. |

Also, I'm not really following John's train of thought. In most of his scenes, he seems to think Kristen couldn't change blahblahblah, but that's clearly not the direction they're taking the character. Kristen wasn't terrible with children even when she was keeping Marlena in the secret room, so I don't really see why Kristen helping a kid would make him change his mind. |

Loving the dynamic between Will/Sonny and Nick/Gabi. I also was never a big Gabi fan but Nick has helped me enjoy her. I know there is going to be a baby story but I think it might actually be a really good story. Will and Sonny sitting in those costumes talking about n sync wasn't even cheesy like I'd expect. it was hilarious. I couldn't keep a straight face watching them. Nice to see them messing around which led to things heading up vs. it being them planning a special event. I think Freddie and Chandler were very equal in this episode in portraying the romance. I think they have finally gotten together whatever has been missing since the first kiss. It could be the writing to blame or the directing but the passion has been lacking a tad. I guess they were just starting with baby steps. But seeing Friday and what happens on Monday the intensity and passion is more than alive now. Nick and Gabi I love also. I guess Gabi just needed to find somebody that truly wants her. Will is gay. Chad was never into her. Nick really seems to like Gabi. They are cute together. Should be interesting to see if NIck was raped in prison or just saw things in prison between guys that now makes him uncomfortable around Will and Sonny. |

The tea kettle is a bit odd, especially since Sonny - if he owned a kettle - would own an electric one. Better for making high end drinks. And boy those sheets are awful. I would more have expected some sheets that looked like he picked them up on his travels or something. But I did love Wilson's scenes, and I am buying their romance now. I loved the build up, but then some of the scenes felt a little forced and now they seems very natural and very sexy, in a low key sort of way. Nick and Gabi are working for me. Kristen is a fantastic addition to the cast (along with Nick, who also just holds the screen in an amazing way). And I've always loved the fact that Kristen is a really nice, compassionate and loving person. She just happens to be crazy in love with John - absolutely nuts in fact - and simply won't put up with anyone interfering with them being together. In her mind, Kristen is the heroine of the story and Marlena is the villain. ED is very natural with kids, and I would even love it if a child of Kristen's surfaced (whose I don't know). I would be on board if Kristen's affection shifted to Brady. There was some spark there. Honestly, Kristen/John/Marlena and Nick/Gabi/Will/Sonny are the stories to watch. I wish they wouldn't waste more time on Sami and her harem or the awful humans that are Jennifer and Daniel. Edited by Honeybees, Oct 27 2012, 02:05 PM.

I want to know why it looks like trustfund baby Sonny looks like he's living in the projects. And not even trendy projects (like the old, old, OLD vintage loft that everybody & their mother used to live in at some point), but just the ratchet projects. |

Thank you! I am glad someone else agrees with me about the tea kettle and the sheets. Neither of them seem to fit his character, nor his tastes. Fortunately those are minor quibbles as we all know why that set was built. I can also believe Sonny living where he does because he wants to be on his own and live his life without relying on his parents or his family. He didn't take money from his family or Victor for his coffee house, so it makes sense that he wouldn't rely on them to fund his residence, now that he has finally moved out of the Kiriakis mansion. For a young guy going to college and running his own business (a business which I question the profitability of), his apartment is fine. Anyway, I doubt we will see much of it after next month. As for Kristen and Brady, I really hope they will go there with them. Their brief scenes on Friday were interesting and a relationship with those two would really piss off John and Marlena - two characters I love seeing miserable. |

Maybe the tea kettle and sheets were gifts from Adrienne or Maggie? |
