Melanie gets a week long send-off and Bo is treated as an afterthought. Gee, who didn't see that coming?

I didn't think Bo's departure was treated as an afterthought. Could it have been better? Hell yes. He's a veteran and should go with a bang; not a whimper. However, they have been writing his departure for a while and I felt that slow end to Bo's time on Days for weeks. Plus, this doesn't feel like a goodbye. It felt like a "see you soon." I'm so bummed he's gone. :(

It doesn't feel like an anything for Bo. It feels like a goodbye for Caroline...who will be back soon.

Gone, But Not Forgotten!

I liked Bo's exit, it think it was fitting considering all things.

Bo Brady can't never come back. Let's face it, Caroline can't be sick forever and he has a wife and family, so is he going to turn into an abandoning father? That would be weird, and if they make him die in a accident off screen, even worse.

Bets are on that Bo Brady will be back, the bigger question is will PR?

I don't like how they are making Marlena look like a paranoid whack-a-doodle!
Is she being made to look like a paranoid whack-a-doodle? How would you react if the person who locked you in a basement room for months, tried to steal your soulmate and tried to kill you returns out of thin air and bumps into you everywhere in town? I think Marlena is behaving as any rational person would do. Frankly if she wasn't freaking out, it wouldn't be realistic.

Anyway, I thought it was a nice touch by the writers to link a therapist and patient confidentiality into the scene, given Susan being treated by Marlena was the definitive key that brought Marlena into the loop and Kristen down.

I probably could buy it if she reacted the same way towards Stefano after all the things he's done to her.

Stefano doesn't want to kill her, Kristin does.

Let me get this straight. After everything that Stefano has done to Marlena and her family she shouldn't have any reason to be paranoid around him? But with Kristen she should have every reason to be paranoid around her?

No, I'm not saying that. And its not like she is ever relaxed around Stefano - she is always tense. But Kristen poses much more of a threat to Marlena than Stefano. Stefano poses a threat to Marlena's family, Kristen poses a threat to her. Marlena is always much more comfortable rescuing others than rescuing herself (in fact a Marlena hater would argue that she subconciously revels in being rescued by John).

Another reason why she should be freaking out is because she isn't 100% convinced that John shares her view (or can't be swayed) because of his history with her. They read off the same page when it comes to Stefano.

She's always TENSE, yes. But she is not like this. That's the thing. Marlena is calm and collected on the outside, because the shrink in her knows that's the best way to handle it.

I don't have a problem with it so far, but I'm sure I will soon. Kristen had everyone fooled for a long time in the 90s, so I think it makes sense that Marlena would be concerned especially since she seems to be alone in her wariness.

I hate how this show dresses everyone based on setting. Remember when everyone suddenly had an overabundance of island-wear on Melaswen. Meanwhile, this has to be one of the dumbest stories Days has done. It's almost comical, because they're trying so hard to make all of this nothing dramatic.
