Thank you, Jason. Some of the monthly leaders must have high guarantees in their contracts. If not, (and even if they do) DAYS really needs to try harder in achieving some balance. Give other actors and characters a chance to shine.

Way too much reliance on Sweeney/Scott/Gering. Will this show ever have balance again?

TFP.

Alison may lead in airtime, but Sami certainly doesn't have a story, and if I never saw Daniel or Rafe again, it would be too soon.

I was just thinking the same thing. I'm really not sure what either she or EJ do. Same with Rafe. Is it just...talking with each other about their feelings?

Though I guess you could say the same about almost everyone. That's probably why we've talked so much about Nicole and the others- they're the only people actually doing something. Crazy.

What I get from these stats is that no matter what despite AZ obviously being the strongest actress on the show she always play second fiddle to AS, which is just pitiful. AS could never do a tenth of the scenes that AZ does.

They might not have a story now but if your talking about the yearly stats, for a good amount of this year they have had story...there was a point that Ej was in every story remember? He was mayor, he had grief sex with Sami, then he blackmailed Will into working for him, there was Ejole again, he was even in Will's coming out storyline being the 'voice of reason', then he wasn't a Dimera, Stefano wasn't his father, Alice's secrets started with baby Ej's picture remember...then he killed Stefano, he was innocent, ran off with Sami, yada, yada.....now it seems that both characters are in these transition phases, even Rafe is sort of out there but if anything GG's high epi count is more baffling because HE truly hasn't had a story with Sami at least she was going through the fallout after the grief sex reveal, then Lucas came back and she was with Lucas for a time, Countess W offer to her came around that time too...before that she was working at Madworld, then she became the mole at Countess W...but what 'story' has GG had? I know I'm no t a fan of his character but I truly can't mouth off one story that he's had this year that was about 'Rafe' they just 'feature' him in other stories as their lead with really nothing coming out story wise on HIS end....

"I don't live by a set diet. It's not about pounds. It's really about how I feel." ~ KA

It's sad that in his last month on the show, Peter wasn't even THE most-seen actor in the month. I even saw people comment on how his last episode wasn't even really about him, it was more about Sami's non-story and the Nicole/Jen/Dan stuff.

Too much Sami. UGH.

TFP Jason!

The Cullitons seemed to write a lot of episodes. Is that more than normal? Not that I'm complaining, I enjoy their scripts the most.

This has been relatively consistent since I started hating the show. This group is the one that gets the most focus and it's where the least amount of change happens. Nothing is going to get better until they either fix these four characters and their interactions or pick a different focus.
