I'm in the steady growing number of people around here that's actually enjoying Days a lot lately. They are known for high rises and pretty big drops from time to time but I didn't expect that much of one. I'm just tired of being in last place.

While I havent watched that show in maybe 10 years, it's cool to see the final ABC soap grow in viewers. It's nice to see any soap grow. We all are soap fans and love one or hate two, I sure don't want to see another soap get cancelled!

Do they not care about the 35 to 49 age group? Why wouldn't they look at that one as vital since you've got a wide variety of ages there. I'm really hoping that someone can answer me....thanks in advance! :)

This is a sweeps month but the writing doesn't reflect that. Some of the storylines have improved but the show in general has a long way to go in the writing department. I'm pretty sure they're both important.

For example, look at where Days stood in July of 2007 8. DAYS 2,229,000 (-607,000/-931,000) <--- new low http://boards.soapoperanetwork.com/topic/20736-july-2-6-2007/ As you see, they were even below where they are now and they were STILL not in last place, lol. In looking at these numbers it's a freaking miracle that Days wasn't cancelled already. Look at that year to year number, in early July of 2006 they had almost a million more viewers than they did a year later. That is why I don't believe that Days will be cancelled anytime soon. I still think that they will make it to celebrate their 50th anniversary and maybe then the network will contemplate what to do with them.
