Thursday, November 29th John returns kristens phone call he asks her if everything is alright? She looks at brady Daniel just out of the shower jen calls him and she tells him the Doctor is willing to have him participate in the clinical trial for his new treatment he wants to see him today Eric in the rectory a nun comes in brings papers for him and she talks to eric about how they cant find a new secretary nicole comes in she brought him some coffee she is taller than him today she says are you sure you dont mind me hanging out here he says i enjoy your company she says well you are the only one if you want to be well liked in this town dont try to railroad jennifer horton he says why dont you come work here she says me working in a church she laughs and laughs Hope is working at the pub roman and kayla come in and says they will take over for her now Hope says someone showed up looking for a job with a lot of experience she is a little bossy Caroline says why not if you want something done right you have to do it yourself roman and kayla hug her kristen says she wanted to talk to him about what happened today there is something he needs to know he says what now? Jen tells dan He has to sign a release form so he understands the risks involved Nicole continues to laugh she says i havent laughed like that since i cant remember kept seeing myself wearing a he says a habit im not asking you to become a nun the parish needs a secretary he asks how her typing and skills are she says not good he says the pay isnt that great there are benefits she says i cant wait he says they pay for room and board and she will live in the convent she says you want me to live with a bunch of nuns he says the priests reside next door we will see each other all the time john says i know what happened kristen says no there is more john says like what she says brady came by and he apologized said he realized he was wrong about me and sorry he was so mean to me and horrible he says thats the reason you called to tell me brady apologized she says i thought you had something to do with it wanted to say thank you he says ok talk to you later they hang up john tells marlena she called because brady apologized to her for being so mean to her mar says yes he told me that it appears kristen hasnt lost her touch john says is that why you were so upset earlier ? Nicole says its hard to pass up living with nuns who has taken a vow of chastity next to my ex lover who is now celibate im going to let that opportunity go by he says what are you going to do about money she says i have savings left over from my previous jobs and you would be surprised at how much ej is willing to fork over just to be divorced from me he says it would help to fill your days she says i will think about it he says there is something else you have to do to improve the quality of your life you have to make things right with Daniel Jonas jen wants to know if she should cancel the appointment he says no he made his decision , if it works out it will be worth the risk she says she will see him soon abi comes in and say see who soon jen says dan i made an appointment for him abi says with the hand guy jen says it was just an act of friendship abi says he is lucky to have you in his life to have your friendship dan is now eating and has his shirt on knock at the door its maggie she has something for him to read she did research about the side effects of the treatment that jen suggested for him this can turn some kind of tremors into a permanent condition he says he is on his way to meet the doctor in about an hour maggie gets upset says why the rush dan says he is in town Jennifer arranged it and my mind is made up john says are you upset because brady apologized marlena says yes brady has been my ally in all of this john says this isnt a war she says i cant convince you ,you are wrong about that all i can hope is that kristen might have realized she needs to keep her distance from me and everybody i love he says yep me too after a flashback of hugging kristen brady says you are going to let this go she says i had every right to expose marlena but im trying to be the bigger person and take the high road he says i owe you one she says not really you risked your life to protect me from those muggers so we are kind of even roman and kay cant believe their ma is home she says she was an A student at the Alzheimers clinic and her and bo convinced the doctor that sooner was better than later she still has memory lapses but not so often she thanks kayla for the clinic and the doctor roman says where is bo hope says he is with his daughter kay says she is one happy girl Hope says well she is not the only one everyone is finally back home where htey belong maggie goes to vist jennifer jen says this is about dan he told you about the injections maggie says and if it fails this treatment stops any other treatment from working but you left that part out you pulled some strings to make it happen jen says if he wanted to back off i would be fine with that this is not for me maggie says after this mess with Nicole dan admitted he still loved you and he told you that , i think you feel guilty cuz you cant say you love him too and you want to make it up to him by giving him back the other love of his life the ability to do surgery you are risking my sons future to quiet your guilty conscience i demand you talk him out of this before its too late nicole says i tried to talk to dan and couldnt go thru with it he says you faced jennifer how can it be worse she says i dont love Jennifer he says you still love daniel she says he made me feel like i had value what if he cant forgive me he says you may not have a furture with dan but you still have a future until you tell him that you are sorry i dont think you will be able to move forward in a meaningful way she says you are right wish me luck he says absolutely she leaves john says i ran into eric you cancelled a lunch with him she says i got all jammed up and i should go to the rectory and apologize to him you know how much i love you dont you this thing with kristen we cant let it come between us not again not ever again please john says it wont i wont let it he hugs her kristen says you did your damage control for marlena so why are you still here? Brady says i dont know she says i doubt this is the beginning of a beautiful new friendship he says since we are going to be on this church board , i think we should learn to get along for everyones benefit she says i agree i have things to do you have to leave now she tried to turn the door knob and she got a pain in her arm he says it looks bruised it looks swollen he takes her arm and looks at it and i guess they have a look between them nicole goes to knock on dans door he comes out and says what are you doing here she says selling vacuums door to door i came to talk to you jen says i want to help him do this the risk is only in a small percentage of the cases maggie says i want dan to wait until the odds are better jen says he is doing the right thing maggie says i cant accept that and if you cant see that you pushed dan into this then you are being naive if you wont stop him i guess its up to me jen says are we ok maggie says i love you i always will i just wish that you would butt out of my sons life Nicole says thank you for not turning me away dan says i dont have a lot of time she says it wont take long i just wanted to say im sorry for accusing jennifer of killing my baby i was a desperate grieving woman i had to say it to jen i need to say it to you you were so good to me and i did nothing buy pay you back with lies and deception i thought it was the only way i could hang on to you you have every right to hate me but someday i hope you can forgive me for what i did marlena goes to visit eric she brought him oatmeal chocolate chip cookies he asks her if everything is ok she says no my life seems to be spinning out of control and every time i try to fix it i seem to make it worse kristen says im sure it will be better by tomorrow you have to go they leave together they share another look Brady is in the square john comes by asks him how he is feeling he says he knows what happened between him and Kristen brady says oh that i let her off the hook? I just figured it was the right thing to do how many times have i got a second chance in life hope im not making a mistake she is not the easiest woman to read john says thats a fact brady gets a missed call from eric he says he has to go see him mar says i never thought john and i would be in this position ever again eric says i understand why you would be wary of Kristen she says you do then you are the only person in this town who does kristen knocks and comes in says sorry i should have waited i have church business to discuss with you mar says she has to go she leaves kristen says that was kind of embarrassing no matter how hard i try she refuses to trust me he says she has every reason not to Nicole says you arent saying anything should i leave he says i accept your apology she says oh thank goodness she notices the papers on the treatment he tells her he is meeting with the doctor today and Jennifer arranged it there are risks involved but if it works he could be a surgeon again she says thats great and jen made it happen for you why do i never think of doing stuff like that, she is looking out for you ,im glad he says she is a great friend he tells her the treatment is an injection and he will know if it works today she wished him luck and outside the door she says he said they were just friends is jen keeping him at arms length, what is she stupid im going to find out the truth Eric says have you changed Kristen says oh yes i hope so, do you believe in redemption he says if you are sorry for the things you have done and if you resolved to live a different sort of life i believe you deserve to be forgiven she says i believe god has forgiven me but marlena i dont think she ever will he says thats going to take a lot of time and a lot of hard work for you to prove yourself to her she says i understand what i need to do Nicole comes to jens and talks to abi says she told jen she was sorry but she needs to say something to her too i know what i did was horrible especially when you were grieving for your dad i would hear your mom cry herself to sleep abi says that didnt stop you from trying to ruin her life nicole says i know but im concerned for her i want to know if she is still doing that is she still so lonely abi says the only thing im telling you is she is a strong woman and she is trying to recover from losing my father and what you have done to her and some day if she decides that she wants to make a life with another man maybe doctor jonas then she has my complete support does that answer your questions she slams the door in her face nicole says it does jen and dan are not together well what do you know maggie sits with dan in the hospital she thinks he should sleep on it and wait until the drug has gone through more trials he says im a surgeon and i will do what ever it takes to be one again i made up my mind on this kristen looks in her bag for a cheque from dimera enterprises for the school building fund she cant find it eric says he has to leave father tobias comes in she says i must have left it in my hotel room i can bring it tomorrow she is not usually spaced out father tobias asks if there is something he could do she says its been a longtime since i made a confession are you willing to listen to mine now brady is outside the door listening to the conversation Caroline sits with roman she is reading the papers says looks like salem wasnt boring while i was away Nicole walker up to her old tricks he says she put jen through hell she says right after jack poor Jennifer he says it was rough on her roman says he has to leave caroline says oh god poor Daniel eric comes in she gets up and hugs him eric says is something wrong do you know me were the doctors wrong? nicole calls eric leaves a message says i decided to take your lousy job it gives me a reason to stay in salem thanks for getting me to talk to Daniel it was the right thing to do and it put my life back into perspective thank you At the hospital jen and abi arrive jen goes to check on dan abi talks to maggie she says i dont like you being mad at mom maggie says i dont either but there is a lot at stake here if your mother is wrong dans life will be ruined jen goes into the room with dan he says he cant thank her enough she says i pray that it works doctor Lewis comes in and he checks dans hands marlena in the square sees john sitting on a bench talking on the phone,,,laughing she says brady must have convinced kristen not to say anything otherwise he wouldnt be in such a good mood wonder why she went along with it she must have been dying to expose me so what is she up to now? Father tobias says of course would you like to hit the box she says no face to face will be fine she sits down and says something has been weighing on me i did some pretty terrible things in my life and one thing stands out that i regret the most and im afraid im about to make the same mistake again Brady is listening outside the door |

Why is Abby stuck in the Jen/Dan story? She's related to three major characters in the young adult story. Her involvement there would make more sense than Chad's involvement does at this point. |

Maybe TIIC are trying to emphasize that Daniel actually does practice personal hygiene, even though his scruffy appearance suggests otherwise. But any show that has all the female characters, including newly returned Caroline, obsessing over Dr. Sleaze sounds like one to miss. And Jen-Jen crying herself to sleep every night over Jack? I'll believe it when I see it--which means never, because T&W clearly don't think it's important to show Jennifer grieving onscreen instead of having other characters tells us she is. Meanwhile, we're subjected to every nauseating second of her preoccupation with Daniel, Daniel, Daniel. Edited by Romancer66, Nov 28 2012, 02:46 PM.

What they're doing is trying to utilize the one thing Dan's got to offer. I don't personally find him attractive, but I get the impression that many do. It's his single selling point as far as I can tell, because he's one heck of a poorly written character. I like the idea of Jennifer crying herself to sleep over Jack, but it would be nice if they'd show it. And it doesn't make up for her mad obsession with the sleazy doc five minutes after Jack died. Abby being so okay with Jennifer being all about Dan now? Lame. |

Maggie's become such a bossy, meddlesome bitch since she found out Daniel was her eggbaby! TPTB want us to see her as "the new Alice" but Alice would never have behaved like this.

Plus Saint JennHO took it upon herself to verbally assault a very pregnant Nicole at every turn...and fell back in Twu Wuv with Dr. Baby Penis Stabber in two seconds after Jack died after Dr Orange Glow Spermslut banged Nicole. Just shut the fuck up writers! As much as I'm enjoying most of the show right now, my FF button is in overdrive during Jenn/Daniel scenes. Screw those bitches. Maggie used to be someone I looked forward to seeing. Now she's nails on a chalkboard and has been that way for some time now. While there will never be a new Alice, Julie needs to be the matriarch of this show. Maggie is all over the place. |

Oh, I know she's Jen's daughter. I just think it's weird that she's the only YA not involved in the baby story especially when she has so many connections to those characters. Also, I know what he means, but Father Tobias saying, "Would you like to hit the box?" just cracks me up. It sounds a lot dirtier than it should. |

Maggie telling Jennifer to butt out of Daniel's life is good, but Maggie needs to as well. The writers are bipolar. First, Maggie is shipping Dannifer now she wants Jennifer far away from him? Nicole and Eric scenes are nice, but I think Nicole needs to stop apologizing, it is old. Too many Daniel and Jennifer scenes. We all know the real reason Daniel wants his hands to work, actually, all his patients know as well. This episode is the worst in a while. I will not be watching. |
