In the Jan. 7th issue of Soap Opera Digest, it features an article "Too Much Booze for Bill?"
After his heated confrontation with Caroline, Katie starts to wonder if Bill’s drinking is out of control.
“Katie is making Bill’s drinking a problem,” notes Diamont. “He likes the scotch and it’s something that he’s always done. If he’s wound up, it takes the edge off a little bit, but you never see him drunk. Bill’s argument is that he loses his temper whether he’s drinking or not.”
However, Katie grows more concern when she spies Alison, slip booze into his coffee. She believes the booze makes him more distant with her and the baby but that could not be further from the truth, says Diamont. Katie recruits Taylor, Karen, Danielle, and Brooke to confront Bill. He thinks they are off base and this makes him angry. He thinks Katie is hypersensitive after everything she’s been through. Bill doesn't think she’s the same woman he married. These things have never been an issue before plus he doesn't like to be told what to do.
