Monday, December 31st john walks into Bradys office and gets an eyeful of kristen and brady sprawled over the desk, having sex. Kate tells Will she doesnt trust Nick he says why say that she says this is just between the 2 of us i offered him a job with a handsome salary and he turned me down will says thats strange he is getting married and going to have a family she says yeah but he wants to play me off against your lovely mother he says doesnt he know you are just helping him out she says he doesnt see it that way and the arrogant little piece of work just left the meeting do you trust him? Gabi talks to Eric says she wants to tell him something he says it wont go any further more flashbacks of telling Will he is the father he says i can see you are upset is it because you are getting married she says its because we have been lying to you john says what in the hell is going on here brady says i think you know dad eric says lies can be forgiven gabi says even lies to a priest? He says why dont you start by telling me the truth sami comes in and say i need to talk to you about the wedding eric says the door is closed but you are still barging in Will says i dont want to trash nick not to you you tend to overreact Will has a flashback of nick saying he was a gay boy and no one would believe he was the father of gabi baby he says i dont want to mess things up between him and gabi kate says what is it ?what do you know? Marlena thinks about talking to john and sending him off to bradys office long flashback of yesterdays show she says oh what have i done i have to stop it takes out her phone and calls john leaves a message Hope comes by and says you look upset whats wrong ? Mar says so much is wrong john says i was thinking it being new years eve and all we were going to spend it with bo and Hope, but Bo had to go out of town we got this table for 4 i was thinking maybe you and date i presume it would be you(kristen) would like to join us tonight brady says usually you knock before you enter a room john says you dont like my idea what do you think of my idea? He says to kristen Adrienne comes into the coffee place talks to sonny wishes him a happy new years eve he says are you returning vic x-mas gift she says did you get a load of those ear rings? He says oh my god Yeah she says chandelier ear rings arent supposed to be the size of real chandeliers someone should tell him Maggie needs to do his shopping next year not his assistant he says you are wearing the scarf we gave you she says i love it he says Will picked it out she says its lovely , so glad he could come for x-mas i cant believe i ever doubted him you arent saying i told you so is there something wrong? Will and kate sit Will says i dont know why nick is acting the way he is acting what i do know is that loves gabi very much and is only doing what he is doing to take care of her she says he is the father of her baby he has no choice Will says he doesnt see it like that i knew gabi was pregnant before he did i knew how scared she was to tell him then when he found out he was the first one to purpose marriage he had a chance to leave gabi and he didint she says wow you are going to bat for him he says im just stating what i know she says why do you care whats it to you eric says sami you have to leave now she says im not going anywhere did you hurt her feelings? That collar doesnt give him the right to hurt you gabi gabi says no i just i dont understand why nick isnt here we are supposed to be doing this together sami says look at her she is upset this is supposed to be a happy time in her life eric says she is just concerned that nick is late sami says did you say something to her like she cant get married in the church gabi says its not him , its me sami says its ok, you are pregnant , the hormones nick comes in gabi says we have to tell father eric the truth Hope says you are going tell me whats wrong mar says i know i did something terrible to john Hope says i cant believe that mar says we had an argument today Hope says about kristen? Mar says Who else john wanted us to invite brady and a date for new years eve Hope says so did you tell john that the date would be kristen ? Mar says no Hope says you still havent told john mar says i told him to go to bradys office and i wish i hadnt done that cuz im sure kristen will be there with brady Hope says maybe thats a good thing mar says i dont think so, kristen told me she was going to bradys office then i sent john over there he is walking into that with no warning Hope says you dont know whats going to happen mar says i should have just told him that your son is having an affair with your psychotic ex but i couldnt get the words out Hope says why not , if Chelsea was doing something that would hurt her ,i would tell Bo no matter what even if he didnt want to hear it marlena has a flashback of Kristen telling her she wont tell john cuz as long as i continue my affair with brady it will keep me from sleeping with john mar says there are good reasons for not telling john Hope says i get it , you are afraid of what it would do to their relationship mar says i wish i could say thats the reason but there is a self serving reason and im afraid i did something i will regret for the rest of my life Kristen asks brady to give her her top john says would you 2 like to come over to the house for a drink first brady says stop playing games john says fine , after you zip up your fly give me your definition of games john yells its pretty obvious we are not on the same page john runs off brady says im going to talk to him she says did you see his face? Brady says yeah i saw his face wait here he runs off she says this is not the way it was supposed to happen it wasnt supposed to happen like this who the hell cares ,its happening its really happening sonny says i dont have doubts i love him dad is the best guy i have ever known Adrienne says i agree sonny says he works for uncle vic dealing with creeps how do you handle it? She says if i saw that his behaviour was changing because of the people he was dealing with i would do something about it but it doesnt happen but if there were people in my life that make him crazy i would try to be understanding about it is someone in Wills life making you crazy he says yeah i cant say anything more about it she says ok, to me the most important thing is to keep things good between you and the person you love no matter what it takes Will says i care about gabi , i want her to have a good happy life kate says so you want me to overlook the way nick acted for gabis sake? Will says if he cant get a job here ,they will have to leave salem she says and she is young and pregnant and she needs the support from her family and friends Will says yeah she says i guess i could see Nick as a man driven by relentless ambition in order to support his family rather than a smug arrogant jack ass he says i hear relentless is good for business she says yeah unless it drives them off the rails think that will happen to nick again Will says no cuz he wouldnt do that to gabi , he wants to take care of her. She says i think i understand your concern for gabi has to do with the baby you understand cuz you were the child of a girl who was too young and inexperienced to raise a child on her own at least gabi isnt lying about the childs father, the way your mother did and the child wont be used as a rope in a game of tug and war the way you were he says and you know that cuz you were pulling on the other end of the robe she says ouch dont worry the father of gabis baby will have a good job he says thank you i have to go he leaves Nick says im not sure i know what you mean eric says sami leave now no one is going to say another word until you are gone sami says ok and hugs gabi says its going to be alright im on your side eric says lets sit down and discuss what ever it is nick says sure you want to do this? Gabi says anything we say here is going to stay here i dont want to get married with a lie on my conscience i want everything to be out in the open Will comes into the church where sami is she says are you here to see uncle eric? She says me too, but he threw me out he is in there with gabi and nick Will says is there something wrong? She says yeah gabi is pregnant and if my brother is giving her a hard time about having a church wedding He says why do you think he is doing that? She says when i was in there gabi looked upset he says do you know what they were talking about? She says no , but i heard her telling nick she wants to stop lying about something Will tries to go in she stops him brady finds john in the park john says i kept telling myself he is not himself he is still grieving over madison and the only way he would get into bed with the woman who tried to kill marlena a woman who as almost his step mother was if somehow she had gotten to him , please tell me i am right brady says i cant if anyone seduced anyone it was me it was me it wasnt kristen. Hope says think Kristen wanted you to tell john on her and brady? Mar says if she did i played right into her hands Hope says if they are having sex in bradys office then john is going to find out one way or the other mar says she has a headache Hope say she will go and get her some water so she can take something for it ,she runs off kristen comes by and says to marlena fancy bumping into you here she looks happy nick says maybe you and i should go somewhere and talk eric says i can leave gabi says no i dont want you to go eric says during our pre -cana sessions i got the feeling there was something important you werent telling me you know the church doesnt require you be completely honest in all aspects of your life but the 2 of seemed to be in conflict its not a good way to start the marriage speak honestly to me and know it wont go any farther adrieene gets home to vics house kate is there she had to drop off something for work im on my way out Adrienne says dont rush off how are you? Kate says dandy Adrienne says i know i was upset about Will getting involved with sonny kate says and you know i find that appalling sami says you cant go in there eric is already mad with me tell me whats going on Will says its none of your business he texts someone gabi says i know what im doing nick says are you sure gabi says this isnt easy to say she gets a text from will saying ,you were right and i was wrong we have to do whats best for the baby eric says go on gabi brady says im really sorry you found out the way you did john says i cant think of a good way to get that piece of information brady says if i try to explain it will you try to listen the night i got in between kristen and those muggers, the night she took me to the hospital thats when things started to change i started to look at her differently not as the devil incarnate but as a human being im not like you , you do battle with dragons im a drug addict john says i lose a lot of my battles but you remained sober brady says i did a lot of self destructive things in my life that i had to find my way back from doing and i saw kristen tying to do the same thing and i guess she saw that in me too we became friends john says what i witnessed in your office was a lot more than friendship brady says that happened fast john says yeah with a woman that was almost your step mother brady says she was aware of that and she did everything she could to stop this ,,but it was me i wanted it kristen says so much has happened since i last saw you mar says where have you been? Kristen says you know i told you i was going to bradys office mar says yes for the exploratory meeting kristen says i knew you would remember mar says why dont we stop with these stupid games tell me what happened Adrienne says i apologized to Will and i want you to know how wrong i was about him i was an overprotective mother , im sure you can understand that im sorry he over heard me, i never meant for him to hear that he is funny and sweet and i can see how happy he makes my son kate says ok i can see you and Justin raised a terrific kid Adrienne says i want for sonny and who ever he falls in love with to have whatever Justin and i have and someday i want to give him a wedding kate says i want that for Will too Adrieens says i know that and they couldnt have a fiercer advocate than you and im grateful for that kate says thank you and leaves Will says can you please go sami says no im not going anywhere until you tel me what going on Will says no cuz you are going to barge in there and screw everything up she says what when was the last time i screwed things up? he says since you found out gabi was pregnant , you are trying to run the show she says thats not true i care about gabi and i know what she is going through right now and i want to help her have the wedding of her dreams will says you arent the only one who knows whats she is going through she says yes and i understand you care about her too oh my god i know whats going on nick says who is the text from eric says give her time gabi says i dont think its the best idea for us to sami comes in eric says this is none of your business sami says it is my business rafe asked me to look out for gabi be like a big sister to her she says you can talk to me the way you would talk to arianna do you want me to tell them gabi says what do you mean sami says about how things with you and nick moved so quickly thats what you are worried about isnt it? Gabi says thank you but im gonna tell father eric the truth kristen says i would love to tell you what happened every single detail but i got to run i think my news years eve plans may have changed she left Hope comes back says was that kristen if something awful happened she would have wanted you to know right mar says thats her mo Hope says maybe john didnt go to the office maybe everything is ok brady says she didnt want anybody to get hurt you are furious with me arent you? John says disgusted is the word brady says fine be disgusted but dont take it out on her its not her fault she didnt want this to happen i saw how torn up she was about it when she didnt think i was around john says from what i observed in your office ,she managed to get over it brady says she came to tell me she wanted to stop seeing me john says you are not that naive i know you are in pain i know you loved madison brady says this has nothing to do with madison , you need to realize its real and accept it period i think i need to go check on kristen and you need time to deal with this whole thing sorry you found out the way you did but im not sorry you found out and im glad its all out in the open brady leaves john says what do you do now? He gets a call from Marlena gabi says its ok i have been lying about how far along i am i am more than 3 months pregnant eric says thats not a big deal gabi says i didnt want you to think i was a slut and didnt want you to think bad about nick sorry i didnt tell you we had sex right after we met sami says to eric, look how guilty she is feeling , are you proud of yourself eric makes sami leave tells her they will talk about this later sami says to Will he better get off his high horse he is starting to tick me off eric apologizes for his sister says we can talk freely is there anything else troubling you feel free to tell me now john answers his phone marlena says did you go to bradys office? John says yeah we will talk when i see you he hangs up brady comes back to his office and says i talked to him he says where did she go? Kristen went home to her hotel room she says its a little early but there is so much to celebrate , she pours herself a drink and says happy new year Kristen gabi says you know everything now nick says yes thats right gabi says sorry you didnt get the whole story before eric says i think it was bigger deal to you than to me nick says we dont want to get our life off on the wrong foot eric says i have some news its why i asked you to come to day i can see you want this i received your baptismal certificate this morning, the bishop has given his given his consent, i will be happy to marry you here in the church. sami has her ear up against the door Will says if uncle Eric catches you snooping again you will get us all excommunicated she says im not snooping but they do look happy now you dont have to worry about gabi anymore , you can concentrate on sonny are you guys going out he says of course im going out what are you doing she says im going out too he says whats wrong what are you not telling me she says im going out with EJ he says ok thats great she says really you are not going to lecture me or give me advice he says no its your life, its not for me to judge and lately i have begun to see not everything is black and white sami says what does that mean he says happy new year he kisses her and leaves marlena comes into bradys office he says he doesnt have time now she says make time i need to know whats going on john comes to kristens door |

This episode was OK, The Kate/Will scenes were cool. Sami/Gabi/Nick/Eric was dumb and boring, and the John/Krady conversation was dumb. I doubt I'll watch. |

I really like how Brady says "I'm not a superhero like you. I am a drug addict." Brady also buried Vivian alive. It humanizes him. He knows he isn't better than Kristen. They've both done shit they aren't proud of. I'm ready for this story to move on from John and Marlena...and just focus on Brady and Kristen's relationship dynamic. |

I love how he lied twice when talking to John. "Friends?" He listened in on Kristen's confession and then followed her back to her hotel room for sex then the next morning she kicked him out and he came back again for more sex! So unless "Friends" is a new code name in Salem for sexual harassment . . . "Friends" they were not. lol |

I disagree. I don't like Brady and Kristen as a couple. The Marlena vs. Kristen aspect is the best part of the story. Plus, Kristen's always been focused on John when she's been in Salem and for that to change would be odd. So I do hope that John and Marlena stay involved in Kristen's story. |

I really liked the Adrienne/Sonny scenes today, but their conversations ALWAYS just seem too brief! I wish there was more of that. It's fine if Days focuses on relationships, but the relationships can be more than romantic ones. I wish they would show more of Abby's friendship with Gabi, Chad's with Sonny/Will/Cam, Will/Sonny with Cam, and even a good ol' Maggie and Hope scene. Instead, the show just chooses to showcase the triangle from hell and the Dannifer pukemance! So irritating that the writers missed this many possibilities. |

Does Sami HAVE to be on every day? Isn't Ali busy? LOL. Sami literally intrudes all of the time. So annoying. I miss when I liked this character. Hell, I miss when I recognized this character. |
