I mean, she was obviously in the wrong before, but ultimately he led her on and in the 90s all of her anger about that was directed at Marlena. It makes sense that given time to think about it, she'd recognize John's role.

I was looking at some John/Kristen/Tony/Marlena video clips on youtube last night, and all I could think is, "Oh, John you so kinda deserve what Kristen is about to dish out to you" I always thought it was weird that she directed all her anger at Marlena when John was the one who did the most damage to her.
