While TV Guide Magazine, which first reported on the casting, says that details on Burton’s Y&R character have yet to be revealed, Daytime Confidential (among others) speculates that he will play Avery’s ex, Dylan McAvoy, who is a presumed-dead war vet. Such a “resurrection” surely would derail the romance between Avery (played by Jessica Collins) and Joshua Morrow’s Nick. At Y&R, Burton would reunite with his onetime GH boss Jill Farren Phelps. You know for certain they will link SBu to some core character to keep him no matter what since he is numero uno on the FOJ list. :drive: I just hope he doesn't take over the show the way it was at GH. :stars: :scared: :pray: I wonder if the devastating news and the reason Nikki can't marry Pappy is because she is still married??? Boy is my mind going wild but it has to be something like that. At first I thought she had an illness but that movie has some sort of connection and illness wasn't it. They have a similar look and if he is to be Sharon's love interest then the Nikki vs Sharon feud will reignite. No way will Nikki let another son fall into Sharon's clutches :popcorn: Then there's Victoria, dont think she will like him one bit.

My Shick dreams have long gone, since it's obvious the show has no intentions of ever reuniting them for the long haul. In my mind, Burton and Case would have awesome chemistry, so I'll be perfectly fine with Sharon continuing to date Nicholas' relatives, LOL.
