|10th Annual DRemmy Award Nominations (2013); Voting Open!|
|Topic Started: Jan 7 2013, 10:47 PM (759 Views)|
|Rick||Jan 7 2013, 10:47 PM Post #1|
It's time once again for the Primetime DRemmy Awards
The Awards were started in 2003 as the Rick Awards (original, I know!) because I was sick of the Emmy's and their same old
Last years awards were voted on by 52 DR members, and I hope we can shatter that record this year! SO VOTE!
You don't have to vote for every single category, you may vote for the ones you are familiar with.
You may also write in any candidate you like and their points will be added.
Just copy and paste the list and rank them from 1-6 or 7 (depending on category) #1 will be your pick for the WINNER. #2 would be your second choice and so on.
After you complete your ballot, PM it to me.
Winners will be announced live February 3rd, 2012 at 9:00pm EST

||No Happy Endings nods? The eff? It should be winning every comedy category hands down.|

|You guys can do write ins :P|
|Bright Eyes||Jan 8 2013, 12:22 AM Post #6|
I will have a for your consideration post later. Most of the other nominations are great, except for anything Grey's Anatomy, what a waste of space they take up. Blech.

|People need to write in Morena Baccarin for Supporting Actress. Also Jennifer Carpenter was great on Dexter this season.|
|Rick||Jan 8 2013, 01:23 AM Post #8|
My bad, Family Guy was on there as well as Big Brother in reality competition. I copied and pasted from an earlier ballot.
Also, I originally had 10 nominees in every category, but whittled them down because it was just too many.

FYC Joan Cusack - Shameless
When she finally stands up to Karen and throws her out, she was a revelation. She proved she can do drama just as good as she can do comedy.
|Rick||Jan 8 2013, 03:54 AM Post #10|
Seriously? Have you seen Sandra Oh and Jessica Capshaw's performances this season?
|Mason||Jan 8 2013, 06:58 AM Post #11|
I'm so glad you've been turned on to the brilliance that is Happy Endings. It's easily my favorite show currently on the air, comedy or drama.

Punk Cabaret is Freedom
It's a shame that things are not looking good for the show ratings wise. One of my favorites for sure.

Supporting Actress in a Drama Series: Christina Hendricks (Mad Men)

I think the biggest omissions were Breaking Bad, Jennifer Carpenter, Mad Men, John Hamm, and Christina Hindrics. But all in all, good list.
So I'm trying to watch Justified. Just finished season 1. I really liked the finally and I love Timothy. But not totally hooked on the show yet. Does it get better in season's 2 and 3? Usually by now I'm totally hooked and obsessed with a show.

I guess there's just not enough interest in these awards anymore.
So far, I've only received four ballots.

||I sent mine in as well!|
|Southofsoap||Jan 22 2013, 07:43 PM Post #19|
||Voted! My submission will frustrate you - sorry!|
|Manny||Feb 2 2013, 03:38 AM Post #20|
I also added MTV's The Challenge in Best Reality Competition Show, so hopefully some other fans might see this and maybe vote as well. :) Last year, Battle of the Exes was such an awesome season (with bad winners, IMO)...
