Gun Salesman (U/5) Tape Date: 1/14/13 Air Date: May 1 Role: Causcasian character male, 35 to 40's. Your typical store gun salesman, who knows his way around firearms. Guy juggling for his girlfriend (U/5) Tape Date: 1/17/13 Air Date: May Role: Caucasian, Mid to late 20's. A nice, handsome, regular guy, laughing and juggling some apples while his girlfriend video tapes it in a park. NOT looking for a professional juggler. Must be a good juggler, with confident basic juggling moves, but nothing fancy. Bad Teens (U/5s) Tape Date: 1/31/13 Air Date: May Roles: Bad Teens. Looking for 2 caucasian actors who are 18 to play 17 years old. You MUST look 17 years old. Actors should have an edge and look a little shady, like they could get into trouble. 3/5 UPDATE: 2 Male Movers (U/5s) Tape Date: 3/11/13 Air Date: June Roles: 2 blue-collar furniture movers, who are strong actors. 30s to 40s, any ethnicity. I'm guessing the prison guy might be for a flashback from Nick to his prison days. As for the gun salesman, somebody in Salem either is planning a crime or feels the need for protection. Weird, in light of recent IRL events and the current national debate. |

Who would legally buy a gun from a gun salesman? This has to be a "good guy" character because no bad guys would be going into a gun store for a gun. Doesn't make sense. Mostly everyone already owns guns too. I'm guessing now that the person who ends up getting shot is going to be the person involved with the physical therapist so I'm hope this ends up good! Wrong person getting shot as usual? |

I think it's pretty safe to say that Nick wouldn't try to buy a gun since felons can't (legally) do so. Rafe owns his own gun. Hope owns a gun. The DiMeras and Kiriakases wouldn't go out of their way to buy legally. Jennifer perhaps? Maybe she feels threatened by Chloe? |

I'm thinking of a scene on Breaking Bad where Walt illegally buys an unregistered gun from a gun salesman (played by Jim Beaver), and the guy advises Walt to buy a weapon legally because he's expensive and it's a risk. Maybe it is Nick who buys a gun. Or it could be Gabi. Or it could be Will (whose last escapade with a gun was more trouble than it was worth). I can't see Sonny buying a gun. If it's Daniel, I'll yawn and not care. |

Maybe Nick finds the gun salesman who sold Will a gun? Nick knows that Lucas went to jail for something Will did, but I don't think Nick knows exactly what that thing is yet. This could be part of his investigation/blackmail Will storyline? |

I can't believe they're casting a gun store salesman after Newtown. I really can't believe that character's tape date is on the 1 month anniversary of the horror at Sandy Hook Elementary. Just seems heartless. I know this won't air until March or April but even that isn't that long since the shooting happened. I hope they're careful with this. |
