Adding on that the lady in the hospital/Jenn's nemesis is spot on with her critcism. When does Jenn work?
I hate to defend Jennifer, but...while Anne's right, the same could be said about many of Salem's residents, so the complaint rings hollow to me.
There are probably a bunch of off screen Salemites who are just as pissed about this as Anne is. :) I thought it was a nice nod to the complaints about that.

The Marlena/Kristen scenes wee great. It's nice that Marlena's plan failed not because of some contrived problem, but because Kristen was smart enough to see through that stupid plan. There's nothing suspicious about Marlena showing up out of the blue and asking Kristen recount her schemes.
Wearing such a garish, fugly brooch.

I LOVE Marlena/Kristen scenes!! They were so much fun to watch, and I especially loved when Kristen showed Marlena her note. :D

These Chloe/Nicole scenes would be much more enjoyable if they were arguing over Brady instead of Taniel.

Today was only okay. I really liked the Chloe/Nicole scenes, though. I wonder if John and Brady are going to get called out for nosing around. Because when Marlena nosed around similarly she got reamed out. I still absolutely hate Kate's role in whatever this story is, and I think I equally hate Chloe's role. I'm only enjoying her with Brady and Nicole so far.

Kate using Jennifer to expose Chloe's secret past seems so immature and antiquated to me. The fact that Kate is being so hypocritical about this sort of slut shaming is almost beyond the pale and I say this as someone who loves the character of Kate.
To be fair, Kate did acknowledge her hypocrisy. She even had a pretty good argument -- as far as these things go, anyway -- for why Chloe's actions were worse.

I don't mind what Kate is doing, personally -- it's kind of like arguing that a convicted murderer is a danger to children while knowing perfectly well that you yourself once killed someone in self-defense. In the end, you and the other person each took a life, but your reasons for doing so were completely different. Right or wrong, in Kate's mind, that's basically how she's viewing the situation.

Of course, having the nerve to criticize someone for doing something that you forced them to do is another matter entirely, but that has nothing to do with hypocrisy.
I don't think Kate even views things the way she claimed to when she was explaining why the situations were different. Unless the story has been changed, she knows full well that she had Quinn use blackmail to keep Chloe on the corner.

Typical for Marlena? Or for fashion? In any event, and maybe it's because I knew it what it was, it was heelariously conspicuous. An eyesore in any context. And another reason for how laughable and junior Marlena's "scheme" was.

Yeah, I didn't think she genuinely believed or meant anything she was saying. Other than that Chloe is a slut and whatever other slur she dished out. But the bits about the hooking - I don't believe Kate really thinks Parker is in danger around Chloe for those reasons. In Kate's mind she just wants to sabotage Chloe and leverage Jennifer's immaculate moral standards and possible Daniel insecurities to that end.

IDK, about Lysie, but I think Marlena would willingly choose to wear something like that. She's made a lot of questionable fashion choices over the years. Only Kate has her beat.

I like Roman too.He is a show staple I would miss if he left.I like the fact that another actor from back in the day still shows up periodically, kind of like Doug and Julie. In todays world of here to today ,gone tomorrow, they are my TV mac and cheese (comfort food).

But he played a completely different character back in the day. It's not quite the same. JT as Roman has been around about the same as Nicole.

Other than on soaps, do people really care if someone has resorted to prostitution to pay the bills or just for the thrill of it? I'm sure Daniel will erupt in rage once he learns his son's mom was a hooker but it's a ridiculous reaction. Maybe it's a generational or regional stigma nowadays. I don't know. I guess I couldn't care less if someone had or is hooking. As such, Kate using Jennifer to expose Chloe's secret past seems so immature and antiquated to me. The fact that Kate is being so hypocritical about this sort of slut shaming is almost beyond the pale and I say this as someone who loves the character of Kate.
Well, it's not prostitution, but there was just an article this week about a middle school teacher in a small town in California whose students found out she'd made some porn films a few years ago. She said she resorted to it after her boyfriend broke up with her and she had no money. She regretted it and tried to hide it, but of course, the films are on the internet. The school fired her, saying she would be a disruptive element at the school. (Someone had already marred her classroom door with vulgar graffiti.)

As far as I know, prostitution is illegal in most states (except Nevada). As for me, I tend to have more sympathy for the girls and women who get drawn into it than for the people who exploit them and profit from it.

Unfortunately, the show seems to be taking it's usual shallow, knee-jerk take on a painful subject instead of giving us the real drama that is embedded therein.

I hate what they're doing to John and Marlena. This is so contrived and stupid!

I find it hard to believe that Marlena is scared that John might sleep with Kristen if she wasn't with Brady.

Just watched.

Roman is SO ANNOYING. If he starts hanging around Marlena while John is gone, I'm gonna have I hurt someone.

Loved the Marlena/Kristen scenes. Poor Marlena. She's just not a sneaky person. I would love to see Nicole get in there and "fight dirty". She would destroy Kristen. Gleefully.

So glad Chloe is back. Just wished she was fighting Kristen for Brady instead of being obsessed with Daniel. Actually, Chloe, Kristen, and Nicole wanting Brady would make more sense than this Daniel shit.

However, I can't wait to see Chloe take Jen down. Someone in wardrobe must hate Missy, because she looked so matronly. Kate looked horrible as well.

My affection is for Josh Taylor. It's just nice he still has job and is not complaining about his "character",dialogue, airtime,or anything else.He just shows up periodically, delivers his lines, and disappears until called upon again to deliver his lines then disappear.By the way,my hearing must be more acute than I believe because I don't ever have a problem hearing and understanding Josh or Drake.Go figure.

The funniest part about Marlena and the brooch was when she was making those not-so-subtle attempts to hide it from Roman (because he would be able to recognize it, and he would not approve of Marlena and Hope using it, as they established on Wednesday's episode).
