"Edgy" (however they're choosing to define that) is fine, but characters shouldn't be bastardized to fit that buzz word. However, in the case of Destiny, since I don't really give a crap about her, it's a little easier to take. |

TPTB wanting OLTL and AMC to tell stories ripped from the headlines makes AMC's choice in McPherson make more sense. |

I think McPherson can do edgy. She came up with the EJ/Will dynamic, and I recall even she mentioned something about the subtle master/slave sexual chemistry between the two, even if it was never actually brought up on the show. I think she can go there when allowed to, and not having to deal with network interference. |

Maybe they will do a "catfishing" storyline since that seems to be the only thing CNN wants to talk about these days. |
