John told Stefano to keep his passport handy, since Kristen was going to need her father's support when her plan inevitably backfired. If that's what it's going to take to get Stefano to return to Salem, I hope that her plan backfires in the next episode.
Kristen almost seemed sincere in her scene with Jennifer.
I love how Eileen Davidson always pulls the phone away from her ear and speaks directly into the microphone at least once in every single scene where she's talking to someone on the phone.

I'm fairly certain that the Green Mountain Lodge has always been much more than one hour away from Salem in the past.

I think they are going to have to deal with the issue of Allie as the forgotten child sooner or later. She is never there, excluded from mention, shipped off to China. And I keep flashing back to the scene where EJ donated the toys. He asked Sami if she thought Allie would feel left out. She was like, "Oh yeah. Allie." Like she has to be reminded by EJ that she has 2 daughters. Also one of my favorite moments was family game night with EJ, Sami, Will, Johnny, and baby Sydney playing poker. Where was Allie? I think maybe she was sick? That girl is definitely going to grow up bitter.
Ah..yes that poker night...I thought you were originally talking about the Lumily poker night. ;) If I'm not mistaken Allie was with her father then in HK then.....Sami should have stopped at the twins...seriously.....not that she REALLY remembers Syd that much either...there have been times where she's kissed Johnny good bye and left Syd there and she was in the same room with Johnny.....lol...frankly her only kid at this point should be Johnny...seems to be the only one she truly gives two flips about. I know it's mainly because the actors that play him are so good, but let's face it...there is no reason not to showcase her other children especially Allie, especially now that Allie's father is in town.
Only using Johnny because of the actors is obviously not true. Thanks to Parker for proving that. But Parker is in a story. We probably won't see him much after it's over, unlike Johnny who pops up all the time.

Good. He's terrible. What Six said...I don't agree with her much about anything but yeah...Johnny's around even when he doesn't have a story....Parker is carted in for this and we likely won't see much of him when this story arc is over.....

^i actually was under the impression that Parker didn't say anything and it was another recording Chloe made, like the crying. Daniel and Chloe were facing each other at the time that Parker said "Daddy", and Chloe's hands were on her hips (meaning that they never moved), so unless she had the foresight to set her phone to play an audio file at a specific time, I doubt that it was a recording, despite the suspect timing.

Good. He's terrible. With all due respect, you really should give Evan and Luke Kruntchev (or one of them, at least) some credit. I think that we can all agree that yawning in Shawn Christian's face twice in this episode was a brilliant acting choice.

For all of the talk about how smart Nick is, he really wasn't very smart when he was talking to Marlena in this episode. It's generally not a good idea to tell a grandmother that you're looking forward to "starting a family" with her grandson's daughter, especially when that grandmother is also a psychiatrist. Marlena saw right through Nick.
THIS.
I've been saying it's NOT NORMAL to be so fixated on this "perfect life" that Nick is SO soon after getting out of prison. Marlena saw it. She knows that transitioning from prison life to normal life should be a difficult prospect for anyone. It's not like flipping a switch. And Nick acting like life is hunky dory and trying to go warp speed on this whole marriage, kids and picket fence scenario mere months of a prison release is extremely abnormal. And he's so desperate for this perfect life he's willing to basically steal another man's child to create it. He clearly has issues he's not dealing with and falling right back into old patterns.

The entirety of this show's music department needs to be fired. The background music has sucked for the better part of a decade or more and that song playing during the EJ/Sami sex scene was... just.... NO. smdh That 99 cent doctor's office lite FM cheese was a total buzzkilll, not that I could see what was happening anyway. What on Earth possessed Days to save on the light bill for the one scene many fans had been waiting to actually SEE for the better part of nearly 7 years? Insane.

Speaking of the sonogram image, I kind of felt cheated when the writers neglected to include a scene where Will showed the picture to Marlena and informed her that the baby was a girl.
I can't remember. Do she know the baby is a girl ?

I really liked that scene between Nick and Marlena. It told a lot.

The ironic thing is that the show was trying hard. They were trying to create this special, intimate vibe with the lighting. They were trying some unique shots with the looks through the curtains. They were using more than their typical porn sax music. Etc., etc. This was Days making an effort to create something special, LOL. Oh Days.

Ahaha! True. But over the years, my eyes have endured some pretty nasty ugly bumping on this show that I will never be able to unsee. This was a rare time that I actually wanted to see some sexy time and damn if they didn't make it feel like the audience was a bunch of peeping toms looking through the window curtains in the dark. Sigh....
Moving on.....tell me more about this "doing it like rabbits" part.

I can't remember. Do she know the baby is a girl ? Marlena knows the gender of the baby, and we know that she knows because Will referred to the baby as "her" and Marlena referred to the baby as Will's "daughter" during their conversation in this episode, but she learned this information off-screen.
Presumably, Marlena has also seen the sonogram image (since Will has been unable to resist showing it to everyone else whom he has encountered), but again, if she has, that also occurred off-screen.

There is some major story to tell with that girl. She's what? 7 now. That's old enough for a "Fake my own death" storyline, isn't it? Also, it would give Lucas something to do.

The only thing interesting about the show was John warning Stefano. And if these writers are real writers at all, Stefano will never forget Marlena. WORD. Nice to see John finally acting in character, too!
