Is it really that hard to find a lipstick shade that looks more natural on AS?
It's impossible, apparently.

Hmmm... so Hope is deflecting questions about Bo again. I hope they're going somewhere good with this.

Very nice nod to history with Kristen warning Nicole about falling for a priest. I like how they're just hinting at Nicole having more than friendly feelings for Eric. It's not overdone.

I like that Will is admitting to Sonny that he gave up the baby for him. I don't like how Sonny seems to be touched by this.

Rafe is kind of being a jerk about the baby. I thought he liked Will the other day. LOL, oh writers.
I think he does. But he and Sami are using the baby as a weapon in their battles between each other. Too many cooks in the kitchen.

ETA: But, actually, I don't get why Rafe is upset about Will gaining partial custody. Wasn't that always the goal if Gabi and Will worked things out? What did he expect, just to have Will wave from the sidelines?
you'd have thought sami would have learned her lesson about uing children as weapons

More Hope foreshadowing...
i really hope that it's that Hope doesn't know where Bo is, not that they're having marriage troubles. At least it was Victor asking this time, not someone who doesn't need to be sticking their nose in Hope's business.

Has Gabi really not thought about Nick being a problem regarding custody?

I LOVE the pacing with this. I'm glad he hasn't already become another full-on obsession for her. They seem to be doing this right.

Oooh and a quick Ericole hand grab. Yes! I'm liking these little moments.

It's working well for little fights that have nothing to do with the Wabi baby to keep ratcheting up the tension over the baby. Cheers for layered storytelling!

the Will/Gabi/Nick/baby story becoming Rafe vs Sami is stupid. Especially since Gabi will do what Rafe requests, and Will will do what Sami requests.

Today's show was directed by Herb Stein from a script written by Richard Culliton -- his second episode in a row.

It feels like the tables have turned. First, it was Gabi/Nick/Will being dumb about the baby secret. Now the adults are unnecessarily complicating the whole situation. Good grief. Someone needs to acquire the town brain.

Agreed. They added in just a couple tiny things today (the arm around the shoulder, the quick hand grab) so you start to feel the tension between them, but it's very subtle.

Rafe/Sami is absolutely DELICIOUS as bitter, vicious enemies who go right for the jugular with the most hurtful things they can say (while deftly playing their own hurt over their failed relationship as subtext). I can't believe how much I thoroughly enjoy these two going at one another with emotional hatchets. Rafe/Sami as enemies is INFINITELY better than Rafe/Sami as lovey-dovey romantics.

Now Sami wants a paternity test. Great.

I keep telling myself that all of this meddling is going on in order to spice up the baby story, but I think WilSon's drama and Nick's machinations should make it spicy enough. Sami's profoundly unhelpful and often downright revolting behavior is not essential. I get that we need to have some kind of history-coming-full-circle element, wherein Sami is the Kate of this story, but she just can't pull it off in the same way. It needs to be toned down at least a little bit, while still keeping her involved. But I guess they need to keep her front-and-center somehow. Now that EJami have no apparent obstacles that's obviously not good enough.

I thought it would be - but I don't find that I am thinking that about Rafe and Sami in these scenes. Same as I didn't enjoy the Sami and Brady scenes yesterday when I was really looking forward to them. I just hate Sami so much, I am no longer entertained by her. And while it is delicious irony that she is playing the Kate in this story, I hate-liked Kate in her story. Sami, not so much. It's disappointing - I want to enjoy the soapy badassness.

ETA: Although I do somewhat enjoy Rafe a little more having an attitude and standing up to Sami. I guess I just like anyone standing up to Sami. I would have added a few more colorful flavoring words to his "Go to hell".

I cant say that I agree with the "Will will do what Sami requests" comment but I completely agree that the Rafe v. Sami storyline is idiotic. As far as everyone knows, except for Nick, they are going to be sharing custody. So what are they even arguing about? I dont think THEY even know.

You what I wish people like Sami, Kate, Sonny etc would stop acting like Will is this poor put upon victim and Nabi force him to lie. He's not, he choose to lie. He is just as responsible for what happen as they are.

Yeah, I legit hate Sami in this story. Let me rephrase that. I HATE Sami in this storyline. It's like just when I think she couldn't get more annoying, here she comes around the corner twice as annoying as in the previous scene. Oh how I wish Lucas was the only parent in Will and Allie's lives.

I think that's my problem. I mean, Kate may have been way OTT, but at least she had a reason to dislike Sami. Sami lied about Austin being the father of her child. That lie affected two of Kate's sons.

But I can't figure out why Sami hates Gabi so much. Yes, Gabi lied, but so did Will. I understand Sami being upset, but this has been ridiculously OTT since day one and for no good reason. Without that good reason, it just makes me hate Sami even more than I usually do (and that's saying something). I don't find her rants entertaining, I find them unwatchable.
