ABC is sending Happy Endings to the Friday night graveyard at the end of March, the network announced late Wednesday night. Replacing the sitcom in its current Tuesdays at 9/8c timeslot, will be Anthony Bourdain's new cooking competition show The Taste, which currently airs at 8/7c on Tuesdays. New episodes of Celebrity Wife Swap will take over the 8/7c timeslot. The Taste and Celebrity Wife Swap will debut in their new timeslots on Tuesday, Feb. 26, and Happy Endings will return on Friday, March 29 with back-to-back episodes beginning at 8/7c. The Celebrity Wife Swap premiere will feature Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson switching places with Kate Plus Eight's Kate Gosselin. Last Man Standing and Malibu Country will have finished their seasons by the time Happy Endings returns, ABC notes. http://www.tvguide.com/News/ABC-Moves-Happy-Endings-Fridays-1060966.aspx |

I'm just happy to see those remaining episodes airing at all, at this point. |

I should be grateful too, really, but hell with that. This show is awesome. A little nurturing and it could be a hit, imho. I hope this somehow hits on Fridays. Or I hope it Cougar Town's its way to cable for a bonus season. And Kate Gosselin isn't even a fucking wife, is she? Bull-shit! |

I think it would be great for cable. Just keep it on, somehow! |

Thought this was interesting (albeit a little disingenuous of ABC considering they moved the show to a night notorious for low ratings).... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/21/save-happy-endings-abc_n_2927391.html |

Oh, the other shows will be done by then? Darn, I would like it to air along with Malibu Country and Last Man Standing.

Now that TBS has renewed Cougar Town for a 5th season, hopefully ABC just dumps Happy Endings to them as well. Would be the perfect hour of comedy for myself. ABC has no clue what to do with these comedies if they aren't on Wednesdays. They are way to dependent on Modern Family, which has been rather dull lately. |

You're close ... USA Network has expressed an interest! I just knew Sony wouldn't let the show die :blulaugh: they are notorious for saving their shows. It's not official yet, of course. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2013/04/03/report-usa-interested-in-picking-up-happy-endings/176398/ |
