Its beyond obvious and it always has been. Kristen is the far more interesting character and it gives her something new to do, but her heart has always been with Y&R. If they wrote for Ashley even remotely as much as Kristen it would be a no-contest. She has more friends and life-long relationships with people on that show. I much prefer her on DAYS, but I don't really watch Y&R and Ashley has been boring for YEARS, but not always. She used to be a really great character, but nothing like Kristen ever. If she could pick one I don't think it would take her longer than 5 minutes to make that decision. I'm happy that its only 3 episodes so far, hope it stays that way.

Initially she was supposed to be shared between the two shows but Y&R refused to share and Sony ended ED's contract with Y&R. If Y&R wants ED back for more than a guest spot then they're going to have to share her with Days. It's quite shocking actually that Y&R was not willing to share, yet DAYS was....Y&R really gambled in that and ended up losing her completely.

In contrast, all the actors on Days seem to have a lot more fun and seem to all get along really well.
