The last time they made love, Gabbie showed up, this time crazy nick??? Can't they give them a break? Today's reunion was a big disappointment, I wish they could have shown them talking about their feelings, how they missed each other etc. etc.

Awww. I really liked their reunion. I thought it was adorable how Sonny was trying to say that Will was the one, and Will misunderstood and thought Sonny was letting him down. I really liked that Sonny seems on board with helping Will be a father, even so much as suggesting they (as in both of them) will need a bigger place. Sonny seems kind of excited about this. I don't need to see them gush at each other, because I think FS and CM both do great things with their eyes and gestures.

And considering how bold Days has been about showing Wilson being sexual with each other, I am not upset at all that they keep getting interrupted. It's very soapy, and it gives them a good reason to show them in bed while furthering the plot.

I sort of wish Nick had just told Sami that it was best for the baby if Will's family stayed out of it. Now she's tipped off and can counter him. Granted, I certainly know he doesn't want Nick involved either but still...some discretion with those facts Nick!
You know what? I'm still waiting to see this purported "genius" people claim Nick to be. I mean just because one might have book smarts, doesn't mean they have street smarts or common sense Doesn't mean they are capable of running a long con without tipping people off.

So far all I've seen is an unstable, short tempered hot mess who can barely contain his true agenda more than a couple of days at a time. His behavior has been setting off red flags for just about everyone in Salem. Even the people that are on his side. He also can't resist the urge to hint at his oh so "genius" schemes. I mean he might as well just stick his tongue out and yell "Nanny, nanny boo boo! I know something you don't and I'm SOOOO gonna tell." It's as if he doesn't think people will figure it out because he's so convinced of his intellectual superiority.

And he thinks he can take on Sami? I mean, I've only been watching since this fall, but even *I've* heard enough about Sami Brady to know she's got 20 years of scheming cray cray over him. And throw in some DiMeras? I mean shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, Nick. REALLY? Is he really that arrogant and delusional?

It's an absolute testament to Blake Berris's talent that the Nick's idiocy and wrong-headedness and bigotry haven't made the character insufferable. Blake makes him eminently watchable and even makes me think Will might be in jeopardy, even with Sami, EJ, Lucas and Kate firmly on #teamwill. Nick even has moments where he's sympathetic. I always like the rule that villains never know they are villains, they are always under the impression they are the hero in the story. This fits Nick here.

I just hope the show gets some mileage out of the utterly strange bedfellows who are all lining up to support Will. EJ has killed someone. Sami has certainly tried, more than once. Kate and Lucas are not slouches in the scheming department. Lucas may be reformed, but he's no dummy.

Regarding Will's confession off screen - I think there is a two fold reason. One, there's an assumption that Will's confession was about the shooting, but there's still a tiny possibility that it wasn't. Also, we've seen Will confess and talk about the shooting more than once, and there might be some overlap. I think the big reveal will be when Sonny reveals that he knows to Nick and that scene will, best case scenario, have the dramatic punch.

I do think Wilson have been shortchanged in time this week, but they've done great with what they have. I also think they were robbed under MarDar of having a soapy romance and one of them rescuing the other from danger and longing for each other over seemingly insurmountable obstacles. I still remember all of Nuke's location shoots very fondly. Wilson do seem like they've been together a lot longer than they have, and it's a credit to the actors that they have been able to create that dynamic between them.

Then there is the usually good Chandler Massey who was downright awful in his scenes. It was as if he was sleepwalking through his scenes. Some of his line readings were wretched if not cringeworthy, particularly his "I love you" line. He is capable so much better.
I think what they were trying to show was that Will didn't have no clue and didn't expect a reunion. I am glad that Will looked like he was sleepwalking, because after the ordeal he went through of not knowing if his daughter will make or not.

I agree that Sonny didn't need to apologize to Will.
I've thought that Chandler's deer-in-the-headlights thing has been deliberate. He was shocked when Sonny wanted to reunite, he's incredibly worried about his baby and he's gone into deep denial about Nick's motives. The latter is particularly important, because the normally quick-on-the-uptake Will should have Nick's number by now.
