By the way, Maree Cheatham tweeted a great classic photo of the early Days cast, including Mac and Frances. I've never seen this one before.

Yay!

That's the first anniversary cast party from November 1966. It's on my site, but in much lower quality. http://www.jason47.com/days/castphotos.html

Nice to have a perfect version of it now. Thanks for letting me know about Maree's tweet!! :)

Here's the photo key (from left to right): Coleen Gray (Diane), Susan Flannery (Laura), Ron Husmann (Tony), executive producer Betty Corday, John Clarke (Mickey), Macdonald Carey (Tom), Ed Mallory (Bill), Frances Reid (Alice), Burt Douglas (Jim), Marie Cheatham (Marie), David McLean (Craig).

Was Diane Susan's mother? She looks so young!

Yes, Diane was Susan's mother...and also the first girlfriend of Mickey!

I learned something I didn't know before. Not only had I never heard the explanation for why "Always" held such meaning for Tom and Alice, but then there was this little tidbit:

Tom: I remember this song was responsible for Mickey being here... or was it Bill?
Alice: It was Bill.
