Hood was cast as the older version of Jack's (Peter Bergman) son in April, 2012. Sawyer, a daytime newcomer, begins taping the week of March 18. SOD Blake Hood OUT; Hartley Sawyer IN as Kyle Abbott on The Young and The Restless! Now, what in the name of William J. Bell, Sr. are they doing over at The Young and the Restless? Soap Opera Digest is reporting Y&R has given Blake Hood the boot as Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) youngest son Kyle (We still remember Keemo!). According to the magazine’s site, Hartley Sawyer will take over the role starting March 18. Sawyer’s acting credits include, Jane By Design, Glory Daze, GCB and Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23. I think that JFP has fished off GH & HH wharf & should just leave their casts alone for awhile. Personally I think Blake was fine as Kyle & see it as unnecessary to have changed the actor. All I can say is that this new guy better be a star.

All I can say is that this new guy better be a star. Yup, I'm there! This is no different than MAB and JFP's numbers aren't any better either. IF they were finally going to do something about the show you would think they would at the very least find someone that wouldn't retrace her footsteps! Frankly I don't give a healthy crap about the people they have on day after endless day. To top it all off there is no meat to the storylines either and it is so superficial and plastic. Well, I'm headed off to my Ejami happy place!
