I may not be Daniel's biggest fan, but DAMN does Shawn Christian have one HOT body.
:puke:
Daniel looks dirty all the time. There is nothing hot about that
Oh yeah!!!

Will keeping more secrets from Sonny? Good move. :eyeroll: He should just tell him that he's desperate (Sonny clearly knows why) and enlisted Stefano's help. If Sonny hasn't left him with all of the drama he's already engulfed in - having a baby with a woman he hates, lying about it originally, leaving out the small matter of having tried to kill a man a few years ago - I don't think he's going to leave him over this.
I agree he needs to keep Sonny in the loop. I hope he does not start keeping secrets again.

I really think that they need to think about involving Stefano in this. Not sure if that is the way to go.

Glad to see Will and Sonny together, but so many interruptions. Now we won't see Sonny again until Monday.

Overall it was a pretty good episode today.

Goodness Chloe was cold and heartless to Nicole and showed how close to the edge she really is when she kept yelling at Nicole long after she had gone. I did like Nicole's retort about standing back in satisfaction watching Chloe implode.

Somehow I don't think Kate's 'It's over'to Rafe is going to stick.

Really liked Sonny today.

I still can't believe that Nancy went along with Chloe's crazy plan!

He could make up a story where he's the one who caused trouble and at least semi take responsibly for his problem.
And who in town would believe that? Certainly no Horton or Brady would believe it for one second - that's half the town right there.
This is the same town where all kinds of ridiculous things have happened. He doesn't even have to say anything bad. "Hi, I'm a twenty year old guy and decided I didn't want to raise the baby that I already lied about once before" would suffice.

Not to mention that nobody in their right mind would believe that Sami would ignore her grandchild just because they weren't legally related. Will's explanation is already on shaky ground as someone pointed out.

On another note, I don't care for the logic that's being used to keep Kate in the dark. She's not stupid. She would not fire Nick. She'd probably even bring brownies to the office for him.
Everyone in their right mind would believe Sami would ignore this baby. It's a girl.

I like that they're revisiting the fight that originally brought Brady and Kristen together, with Kristen's scheming with the "mugger" possibly being responsible for something being really wrong with Brady. It feels like we might be building to something now.
Yeah, it's been 4 months since the mugging and he still has headaches? That can't be good.
Wow. This is possibly gonna get good!!

I disagree. I don't think ANY story Will could come up with at this point would sound plausible. And that's why, as word of this slowly gets out, no one is buying it. Nick's little plan is full of holes. I mean, he couldn't even convince Gabi and she's dumber than a box of hair.
The thing is - I don't really care whether Will can convince the town to believe his story. That is not my problem with him dragging Sami into this. I just want him to man up and stop hiding behind his mommy. The lie he's using now has nothing going for it and it makes him look bad.
Nothing he can say will make him look good and he knows that. And even if didn't ask Sami to help he needs to get help from SOMEONE (probably multiple someones). I agree that Stefano isn't the best choice but I can't fault Will for seeking help and support from family and friends in this situation.
I'm not talking about whether Will can look good in the eyes of the town. I'm talking about how he looks to me, someone who knows the whole story and is waiting to see him show some strength. And I'm not talking about him getting help at all. I have no issue with that (although I wish he'd tried to come up with a plan and consulted people on his own instead of asking Sami what she was going to do). I'm sympathetic to his plight and he's not a bad guy, but he shot someone. He is being blackmailed and he shouldn't be setting Sami up to get lectured by the town for costing him his daughter.

especially when he was willing to walk away from that little girl all on his own, before the blackmail, before nick found out what he did, etc.

Only until she got her back. Sami is with daughters a lot like she is with men... she's all about them and obsesses over them until she gets them & then she moves on to the next thing she wants but doesn't have.

"Because I have a son... something you'll never be able to give Daniel." Damn, Chloe, but that's COLD.
I can't believe how nonchalant some people are about throwing this in Nicole's face. This is a soap and people are bitchy back-stabbers, but there's something inhuman about this. It reminds me of how some people used to throw her "porn star past" in her face, even though she was underage and was coerced into doing it by an abusive father - didn't he even drug her? - which is a major crime and far different from her having made a free adult choice that she might be embarrassed or ashamed about later on (the way it came across when people brought it up). But I digress...
I cannot agree more with you. Nicole is Salem's pirah, but the abuse she's suffered is inhumane.
Chloe's statements broke Nicole's heart, you can see the pain on her face and in her eyes.
I'm appalled, at this point I'm done with Chloe.
I think this scene was put in to make Dannifer more appealing ie take sympathy away from Chloe. Everything is for Fetch. Sigh.

A fantastic reason why she should be relieved of Sydney...but I don't want to derail the thread with my Sydole fantasies. ;)

Except the problem with that is that Nick himself has been telling everyone that Sami is the reason. For Will to say something different or just that he just doesn't want to have parental rights would be odd. No one would buy that. The Sami excuse isn't the most logical but it's the least suspicious due to NIck's complaints about Sami. I love that Kate isn't completely buying it though. I also love that Will is keeping his plan with Sami a secret.

You may be right. The show is revolved around Dannifer, others are being destroyed
because of it. :soapbox: Dannifer will never be appealing IMO, and I'm done with Chloe.

ITA it's almost like "Chloe has some fans?? Oh shit, let's make her hateful so Jennifer looks nice by comparison". They don't address the issue of Jennifer's blatant bitchiness, just make somebody worse!

I think that's basically how she is with all her kids. She pretty much forgot she had Will from the time the SamKate feud ended until 2010.

I don't think Will has been there when Nick told people that Will gave up the baby because of Sami, so it's not like he's sticking to a predetermined script - actually, who has Nick said that to?

I hear by crown Chloe Queen Bitch of the Day---I felt soooooooo bad for Nicole. At this point I'm also so ready to have Chloe off my screen. Memo to TBTB: If you want Dannifer as a couple, just put them together in marital harmony and stop destroying once-beloved characters (especially Jack) to create contrived angst for them.

I am intrigued by Brady's headache today and hope this develops into something.

Kristen's outfit is a bit of a mess but it amuses me how they are color-coordinating her wardrobe with Brady's (in lavender/purple yesterday and blue today).

Well, that was his go to "reason" for when he blackmailed Will in front of Lucas, Sami, EJ and Sonny. And he tried to whip that excuse out with Gabi but even she didn't buy it. He's counting on people believing the "Sami's a crazy bitch and must be kept from the child at all costs" excuse. But he keeps forgetting, that even if many people hate Sami, they still love and adore Will.
