Snoop Lion Is Writing a New Theme Song for One Life to Live

When One Life to Live returns, it'll come with a new feel to say the least.

Prospect Park and The Online Network, which are resurrecting both One Life to Live and All My Children online, have partnered with Snoop Lion (formerly know as Snoop Dogg) for a new theme song for One Life to Live.

Snoop, who previously appeared on the soap when it was on ABC, will write and produce the new theme song, titled "Brand New Start," and will appear on the track alongside Iza Lach. Additionally, Snoop will actually appear as himself on several episodes of the revamped series when he visits Llanview to promote his new Indie film, "Reincarnated," which documents his journey from Snoop Dogg to Snoop Lion.

Jersey Shore's JWOWW lands gig on One Life to Live

"We're thrilled to have the support of such an iconic artist, like Snoop Lion," said Jeff Kwatinetz, Chairman and CEO of Prospect Park. "To have him write and produce the theme song for this series and to have the amazingly talented Iza Lach on board, is just incredible. We are extremely grateful and excited for fans to hear the new theme song and of course catch Snoop Lion in upcoming episodes."

Snoop's casting isn't that odd considering Jersey Shore's Jenni "JWOWW" Farley also recently signed on.

One Life to Live and All My Children will return April 29.

That's awesome and cracks me up at the same time.

I can't believe how many people on the OLTL Facebook page are bitching about them not using the old theme song. Isn't it possible they CAN"T use the old theme song???

Only the first few notes of the 96-12 theme were good and worth keeping. The rest ... meh, replaceable.
